1Technology and Experiments of 42CrMo Bearing Ring Forming Based on Casting Ring Blank显示文摘Bearing ring is the crucial component of bearing. With regard to such problems as material waste, low efficiency and high energy consumption in current process of producing large bearing ring, a new process named 'casting-rolling compound forming technology' is researched by taking the typical 42CrMo slew bearing as object. Through theoretical analysis, the design criteria of the main casting-rolling forming parameters are put forward at first. Then the constitutive relationship model of as-cast 42CrMo steel and its mathematical model of dynamic recrystallization are obtained according to the results of the hot compression experiment. By a coupled thermal-mechanical finite element model for radial-axial rolling of bearing ring, the fraction of dynamic recrystallization is calculated and recrystallized grains size are predicated. Meanwhile, the effects of the initial rolling temperature and feed rate of idle roll on material microstructure evolution are analyzed. Finally, the industrial rolling experiment is designed and performed, based on the simulation results. In addition, mechanical and metallographic tests are conducted on rolled bearing ring to get the mechanical parameters and metallographic structure. The experimental data and results show that the mechanical properties of bearing ring produced by casting-rolling compound forming technology are up to industrial standard, and a qualified bearing ring can be successfully formed by employing this new technology. Through the study, a process of forming large bearing ring directly by using casting ring blank is obtained, which could provide an effective theoretical guidance for manufacturing large ring parts. 3Root–shoot competition interactions cause diversity loss after fertilization:a field experiment in an alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Aims A decrease in species diversity after fertilization is a common phenomenon in grasslands;however,the mechanism causing it remains highly controversial.The light competition hypothesis to explain loss of diversity has received much attention.The aim of the present paper was to test this hypothesis.Methods Fertilization was used to control above-and belowground resources simultaneously,while shade was used to control aboveground resource in an alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau.Univariate general linear models was used to estimate the effects of fertilization and shade on above-and belowground vegetation characteristics,including photosynthetically active radiation(PAR)in the understory,aboveground biomass,belowground biomass,R:S ratio,species richness and Simpson’s diversity index.Important findings PAR was similar in the understory of shaded and fertilized plots,but only fertilization reduced species richness and diversity,suggesting that light competition alone could not explain diversity loss after fertilization.The root biomass and R:S ratio had a significant increase in shaded plots,but the richness and diversity did not change,suggesting that root competition alone also could not explain diversity loss after fertilization in this community.Our results illustrated that the root–shoot competition interactions,investigated from a functional groups perspective,should be the most reasonable explanation leading to the diversity loss due to fertilization.Wei Li Shujun Wen Wenxiang Hu Guozhen Du 2011Journal of Plant Ecology2011,4,3:15

7High-performance rigid and flexible ultraviolet photo- detectors with single-crystalline ZnGa2O4 nanowires显示文摘ZnGa2O4 nanowires (NWs) as a ternary oxide semiconductor were successfully synthesized by a simple vapor transport method for application as high- performance ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors. A single-nanowire UV photodetector fabricated on a rigid silicon substrate exhibited excellent spectral responsivity (3,174 A/W) and high external quantum efficiency (1.1 - 106%) at 350 nm UV light illumination. A flexible single-nanowire photodetector on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate was also fabricated and showed similar properties. 8An analytic solution describing the visco-elastic deformation of coal pillars in room and pillar mine显示文摘Coal pillar deformation is typically nonlinear and time-dependent. The accurate prediction of this defor- mation has a vital importance for the successful implementation of mining techniques. These methods have proven very important as a way to excavate coal resources from under buildings, railways, or water bodies. Elastic and visco-elastic theory are employed with a Maxwell model to formulate an analytic solution for displacement of coal pillars in room and pillar mine. These results show that the visco-elastic solution adequately predicts the coal pillar deformation over time. We conclude that the visco-elastic solution can predict the coal pillar and roadway displacement from the measured geological parameters of the conditions in situ. 11Large manipulative experiments reveal complex effects of food supplementation on population dynamics of Brandt's voles显示文摘Although food supplementation is well known to increase population density,there is still debate on the causative effects of food supplementation on reproduction,survival,and immigration.Large manipulative experiments,which exclude any confounding effects of dispersal and predation,are essential for clarifying the debate.In this study,we investigated the effects of food supplementation on Brandt's vole population dynamics and plant community in eight large enclosures(0.48 ha each) from2010 to 2014.Food supplementation showed significant positive effects on population density due to increases in recruitment;however,it showed a complex effect on survival of voles:positive in non-breeding seasons,but negative in breeding seasons.In addition,food supplementation increased the quality of plants(as reflected by increased crude protein content),but decreased the quantity of less preferred plants in experimental enclosures.Thus,food seems to have direct positive effects on small rodents through improvement of food supply and indirect negative effects through food-induced density-dependent effects,and may have long-term effects on rodents through altering plant community composition and abundance.Baofa Yin Guoliang Li Xinrong Wan Guozhen Shang Wanhong Wei Zhibin Zhang 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,8:4
12Comparative analysis of the photosynthetic physiology and transcriptome of a high-yielding wheat variety and its parents显示文摘Photosynthesis is the fundamental basis of plant growth and development,and the improvement of photosynthetic efficiency can therefore promote increased crop yields.In this study,a comparative analysis of photosynthetic physiology and transcriptome was conducted between the high photosynthetic efficient variety BN207 and its parents BN64 and ZM16.The higher chlorophyll fluorescence,chlorophyll and carotenoid contents,and Lhcb1 protein accumulation in BN207 improved photosynthetic efficiency by promoting light energy absorption and conversion.Chloroplasts being distributed more closely to the cell membrane and the higher Rubisco enzyme activity of BN207 enhanced carbon assimilation,resulting in more carbohydrate accumulation in BN207.Transcriptome analysis revealed that there were several key genes mediating the high photosynthetic efficiency of BN207:Traes CS5 D02 G364100(chlorophyllase),BGI_novel_G006617(lycopeneε-cyclase),Traes CS4 A02 G034800 and Traes CS4 A02 G035100(Zeaxanthin epoxidase),Traes CS6 B02 G122500(light-harvesting complex II chlorophyll a/b binding protein 1).These genes improved the photosynthetic efficiency of BN207 mainly by reducing chlorophyll degradation,promoting carotenoid synthesis,and increasing Lhcb1 protein accumulation.These findings provide important background information for the cultivation of wheat varieties with high photosynthetic efficiency.Huajie Liu Qidi Zhu Xinxin Pei Guozhen Xing Xingqi Ou Hua Li 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,6:3
13Community-level trait responses and intra-specific trait variability play important roles in driving community productivity in an alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Aims Human activities have dramatically increased nutrient inputs to ecosys-tems,impacting plant community diversity,composition and function-ing.Extensive research has shown that a decrease in species diversity and an increase in productivity are a common phenomenon following fertilization in grasslands ecosystem.The magnitude of the response of species diversity and above-ground net primary productivity(ANPP)to fertilization mainly depends on species traits(mean trait values)and traits variability(plasticity).Our aim of this study was to examine(i)changes of species diversity(species richness and Shannon-Wiener index)and ANPP following fertilization;(ii)which species traits or community-weighted mean(CWM)traits can determine ANPP,as expected from the‘biomass ratio hypothesis’;and(iii)the relative role of intra-specific and inter-specific trait variability in this process following fertilization.Methods We measured ANPP and four key plant functional traits:specific leaf area(SLA),leaf dry matter content(LDMC),mature plant height(MPH)and leaf nitrogen concentration(LNC)for 25 component species along a fertilization gradient in an alpine meadow on the Tibetan Plateau.In addition,trait variation of species was assessed using coefficients of variation(CV),and we calculated the ratio of the CVintra to the CVinter.Important Findings Our results showed that:(i)fertilization significantly reduced species richness and Shannon-Weiner diversity index,but sig-nificantly increased ANPP;(ii)there was a significant positive correlation between ANPP and CWM-SLA and CWM-MPH,yet there was no significant relationship between ANPP and CWM-LNC or CWM-LDMC;(iii)intra-specific variability in SLA and MPH was found to be much greater than inter-specific variability,especially at the higher fertilization levels.We con-cluded that CWM-SLA and CWM-MPH can be used to assess the impacts of species changes on ecosystem functioning,and dominant species can maximize resource use through intra-spe-cific variability in SLA and MPH to compensate for the loss of species following fertilization,therefore maintaining high com-munity productivity.Wei Li Jie Zhao Howard E.Epstein Guanghua Jing Jimin Cheng Guozhen Du 2017Journal of Plant Ecology2017,10,4:3

16A risk-prediction score for colorectal lesions on 12,628 participants at high risk of colorectal cancer显示文摘Background The uptake of colonoscopy is low in individuals at risk of colorectal cancer(CRC).We constructed a riskprediction score(RPS)in a large community-based sample at high risk of CRC to enable more accurate risk stratification and to motivate and increase the uptake rate of colonoscopy.Methods A total of 12,628 participants classified as high-risk according to positivity of immunochemical fecal occult blood tests or High-Risk Factor Questionnaire underwent colonoscopy.Logistic regression was used to derive a RPS and analysed the associations of the RPS with colorectal lesions,giving odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Of the participants,men(OR=1.73,95%CI=1.58–1.90),older age(≥65 years;1.41,1.31–1.53),higher body mass index(≥28 kg/m^(2);1.22,1.07–1.39),ever smoking(1.47,1.31–1.65),and weekly alcohol use(1.28,1.09–1.52)were associated with a higher risk of colorectal lesions.We assigned 1 point to each of the above five risk factors and derived a RPS ranging from 0 to 5,with a higher score indicating a higher risk.Compared with a RPS of 0,a RPS of 1,2,3,and 4–5 showed a higher risk of colorectal lesions,with the OR(95%CI)being 1.50(1.37–1.63),2.34(2.12–2.59),3.58(3.13–4.10),and 3.91(3.00–5.10),respectively.The area under the receiver-operating characteristic curve of RPS in predicting colorectal lesions was 0.62.Conclusions Participants with an increase in the RPS of≥1 point had a significantly higher risk of colorectal lesions,suggesting the urgency for measuring colonoscopy in this very high-risk group.High-risk strategies incorporating RPS may be employed to achieve a higher colonoscopy-uptake rate.Lixin Liang Yingru Liang Ke Li Pengzhe Qin Guozhen Lin Yan Li Huan Xu Suixiang Wang Qinlong Jing Boheng Liang Lin Xu 2022Gastroenterology Report2022,10,1:2
17Reliable sensors based on graphene textile with negative resistance variation in three dimensions显示文摘The weft-knitted reduced graphene oxide(r-GO)textile that is made up of many conductive r-GO coated fibers was successfully prepared dependent on the electrospray deposition technique.Interestingly,the r-GO textile presents negative resistance variation not only in axial direction as the pressure increases but also in transverse direction as the lateral stretch increases which makes it has the advantage to fabricate the reliable sensors based on strain-resistance effect.The transverse-strain and pressure sensors based on the r-GO textiles all show the excellent sensing characteristics such as high sensitivity,reliability,and good durability,etc.The maximum gauge factors(GF)of the transverse-sensor are 27.1 and 153.5 in the x-and/-direction,respectively.And the practical detection range can up to 40%in the x-direction and 35%in the y-direction,respectively.The r-GO textile pressure sensor also shows high sensitivity for a broad pressure range that with a GF up to 716.8 kPa-1 for less than 4.5 kPa region and still has more sensitive pressure sensing characteristics even the pressure goes up to 14 kPa.Based on those good performances of r-GO textile sensors,its potential applications in human body states monitoring have been studied.Wenpeng Han Yijun Wu He Gong Linxin Liu Junxiang Yan Mengfei Li Yunze Long Guozhen Shen 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:2

19SecIngress:An API Gateway Framework to Secure Cloud Applications Based on N-Variant System显示文摘Based on the diversified technology and the cross-validation mechanism,the N-variant system provides a secure service architecture for cloud providers to protect the cloud applications from attacks by executing multiple variants of a single software in parallel and then checking their behaviors’consistency.However,it is complex to upgrade current Software as a Service(SaaS)applications to adapt N-variant system architecture.Challenges arise from the inability of tenants to adjust the application architecture in the cloud environment,and the difficulty for cloud service providers to implement N-variant systems using existing API gateways.This paper proposes SecIngress,an API gateway framework,to overcome the challenge that it is hard in the cloud environment to upgrade the applications based on N-variants system.We design a two-stage timeout processing method to lessen the service latency and an Analytic Hierarchy Process Voting under the Metadata mechanism(AHPVM)to enhance voting accuracy.We implement a prototype in a testbed environment and analyze the security and performance metrics before and after deploying the prototype to show the effectiveness of SecIngress.The results reveal that SecIngress enhances the reliability of cloud applications with acceptable performance degradation.Dacheng Zhou Hongchang Chen Guozhen Cheng Weizhen He Lingshu Li 2021China Communications2021,18,8:2
20Modify Cd3As2 nanowires with sulfur to fabricate self-powered NIR photodetectors with enhanced performance显示文摘Cd_(3)As_(2)nanowires(NWs)have great potential in the near-infrared(NIR)photodetection field due to their excellent optoelectronic properties as a typical Dirac semimetal.However,the existence of surface oxidization limits their photoresponse performance for practical applications.Here,we modified the surface of Cd_(3)As_(2)NWs with sulfur to prevent surface oxidizing and optimize the bandgap structure to improve the photoresponse performance.The S-modified Cd_(3)As_(2)samples existed as core/shell Cd_(3)As_(2)/CdS NWs and the corresponding single NW device showed a responsivity of 0.95 A/W in the NIR band at a 0 V bias,which is three orders of magnitude higher than that of an unmodified NW.This study provides an efficient and universally applicable way to prevent semimetals nanostructures from oxidizing and promote their optoelectronic properties.Yongxu Yan Wenhao Ran Zhexin Li Linlin Li Zheng Lou Guozhen Shen 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:2
