1Medaka fish stem cells and their applications显示文摘Stem cells are present in developing embryos and adult tissues of multicellular organisms. Owing to their unique features, stem cells provide excellent opportunities for experimental analyses of basic developmental processes such as pluripotency control and cell fate decision and for regenerative medicine by stem cell-based therapy. Stem cell cultures have been best studied in 3 vertebrate organisms. These are the mouse, human and a small laboratory fish called medaka. Specifically, medaka has given rise to the first embryonic stem (ES) cells besides the mouse, the first adult testis-derived male stem cells spermatogonia capable of test-tube sperm production, and most recently, even haploid ES cells capable of producing Holly, a semi-cloned fertile female medaka from a mosaic oocyte created by microinjecting a haploid ES cell nucleus directly into a normal oocyte. 2Prediction of dissolved oxygen in a fishery pond based on gated recurrent unit (GRU)显示文摘Dissolved oxygen(DO),an important water quality indicator in aquaculture,affects the survival rate of aquatic creatures and the yield of aquatic production.Therefore,it is important to predict DO in fishery ponds for applying artificial aeration with low energy and cost.Recently,deep learning models,such as recurrent neural network(RNN),long short-term memory(LSTM),and gated recurrent unit(GRU),are often used to predict the trend of time series,but it is unclear which one of them is more suitable for prediction of DO in fishery ponds.In this work,the RNN model,LSTM model,and GRU model were used to build three DO predicting models.The performance of the three models were compared by mean absolute error(MAE),mean square error(MSE),mean absolute percentage error(MAPE),and the coefficient of determination(R2).The performance of RNN is worse result than LSTM and GRU.The four evaluation indicators of GRU are 0.450 mg/L,0.411,0.054,and 0.994,and the four indicators of LSTM are 0.407 mg/L,0.294,0.059,and 0.970,which shows that the performance of GRU is similar to LSTM,but the time cost and number of parameters used for GRU is much lower than LSTM.It is concluded that the GRU has overall better performance and can be applied to practical applications.Wuyan Li Hao Wu Nanyang Zhu Yongnian Jiang Jinglu Tan Ya Guo 2021Information Processing in Agriculture2021,8,1:4

5Digital quantum simulation of Floquet topological phases with a solid-state quantum simulator显示文摘Harnessing the dynamics of complex quantum systems is an area of much interest and a quantum simulator has emerged as a promising platform to probe exotic topological phases.Since the flexibility offered by various controllable quantum systems has helped gain insight into the quantum simulation of such complicated problems,an analog quantum simulator has recently shown its feasibility to tackle the problems of exploring topological phases.However,digital quantum simulation and the detection of topological phases still remain elusive.Here,we develop and experimentally realize the digital quantum simulation of topological phases with a solid-state quantum simulator at room temperature.Distinct from previous works dealing with static topological phases,the topological phases emulated here are Floquet topological phases.Furthermore,we also illustrate the procedure of digitally simulating a quantum quench and observing the nonequilibrium dynamics of Floquet topological phases.Using a quantum quench,the 0-andπ-energy topological invariants are unambiguously detected through measuring time-averaged spin polarizations.We believe our experiment opens up a new avenue to digitally simulate and detect Floquet topological phases with fast-developed programmable quantum simulators.BING CHEN SHUO LI XIANFEI HOU FEIFEI GE FEIFEI ZHOU PENG QIAN FENG MEI SUOTANG JIA NANYANG XU HENG SHEN 2021Photonics Research2021,9,1:1

8Analysis on Impact Factors for Forest Management Income of Forest Farmers in China显示文摘Based on the investigation in Anji County of Zhejiang Province and Ba'nan District of Chongqing, this paper analyzed the characteristics of forest management behaviors of forest farmers in China and the impact factors for forest management income, and then came up with some policy recommendations to increase the forest management income of forest farmers. It argued that the factors to impact on forest management income of forest farmers in China include the choice of forest products type, the elements in forest production and management, the development of forest products processing sector at regional level, and the government's forest management system. 9Growth of boron nitride nanotubes from magnesium-based catalysts显示文摘This study reports an efficient method for growing high-quality boron nitride nanotubes(BNNTs)via chemical vapor deposition of low-melting-point precursors—magnesium diboride(MgB_(2)),magnesium nitride(Mg_(3)N_(2)),and diboron trioxide(B_(2)O)at a growth temperature of 1000–1300℃.The strong oxygen-capturing ability of Mg_(3)N_(2)inhibits the formation of high-melting-point Mg_(3)B_(2)O_(6),which helps MgB_(2)to maintain an efficient and stable catalytic capacity,thereby enhancing its growth efficiency and utilization of the boron source.Moreover,polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)composites formed from these BNNTs demonstrated much greater thermal conductivities than pure PDMS.Thus,this novel strategy for preparing BNNTs is efficient,and they have great potential for application as thermal interface materials.Ying Wang Kai Zhang Liyun Wu Xuhua He Qian He Nanyang Wang Zhengyang Zhou Chaowei Li Yue Hu Yagang Yao 2023Nano Research2023,16,8:0
10Time-frequency Feature Extraction Method of the Multi-Source Shock Signal Based on Improved VMD and Bilateral Adaptive Laplace Wavelet显示文摘Vibration signals have the characteristics of multi-source strong shock coupling and strong noise interference owing to the complex structure of reciprocating machinery.Therefore,it is difficult to extract,analyze,and diagnose mechanical fault features.To accurately extract sensitive features from the strong noise interference and unsteady monitoring signals of reciprocating machinery,a study on the time-frequency feature extraction method of multi-source shock signals is conducted.Combining the characteristics of reciprocating mechanical vibration signals,a targeted optimization method considering the variational modal decomposition(VMD)mode number and second penalty factor is proposed,which completed the adaptive decomposition of coupled signals.Aiming at the bilateral asymmetric attenuation characteristics of reciprocating mechanical shock signals,a new bilateral adaptive Laplace wavelet(BALW)is established.A search strategy for wavelet local parameters of multi-shock signals is proposed using the harmony search(HS)method.A multi-source shock simulation signal is established,and actual data on the valve fault are obtained through diesel engine fault experiments.The fault recognition rate of the intake and exhaust valve clearance is above 90%and the extraction accuracy of the shock start position is improved by 10°.Nanyang Zhao Jinjie Zhang Zhiwei Mao Zhinong Jiang He Li 2023Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2023,36,2:0
11Waveguide Filter for Reducing Crosstalkin All Optical Networks显示文摘A novel filter structure which can reduce the crosstalk in cross-connection and switching in all optical networks based on dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) is presented. The filter is constructed by dielectric waveguide with the waveguide boundary or the waveguide itself uncontinuous in transmitting direction. Using the concept of effective refractive index of plane waveguide system, we can get a special index profile along the wave propagation direction by alternatively changing the thickness of waveguide film or its refractive index. Having proved this kind of waveguides with filtering properties, the design principle of an example is given, which will be very useful to reduce the crosstalk in optical cross-connection and switching in all optical networks based on DWDM.
