5Construction of hierarchical photocatalysts by growing ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets on Prussian blue analogue-derived bimetallic sulfides for solar co-production of H_(2) and organic chemicals显示文摘Exploring highly efficient bifunctional photocatalysts for simultaneous H2 evolution and organic chemical production in pure water represents a green route for sustainable solar energy storage and conversion.Herein,a facile strategy was explored for preparing a hierarchical porous heterostructure of Fe_(4)Ni_(5)S_(8)@ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(FNS@ZIS)by the in situ growth of ZIS nanosheets on Prussian blue analogue(PBA)-derived bimetallic FNS sulfides.A series of FNS@ZIS hierarchical structures were facilely prepared by adjusting the loading amount(n%)of FNS(n=19,26,and 32 for FNS@ZIS-1-3).These structures can efficiently drive the solar co-production of H_(2) and organic chemicals.The optimal co-production was achieved with FNS@ZIS-2,affording a H_(2) evolution rate of 10465μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1),along with high selectivity for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde(>99.9%).The performance was 22 and 31 times higher than that of FNS and ZIS,respectively,and even superior to the state-of-the-art results achieved using various sacrificial agents.Further mechanistic study indicated that the unique hierarchical core/shell architecture can facilitate interfacial charge separation,afford bimetallic synergy,abundant active sites and excellent photostability.This work highlights a simple and efficient method for preparing porous multimetallic hierarchical structures for the solar co-production of organic chemicals and H_(2) fuel.Liangxuan Zhong Baodong Mao Meng Liu Mingyue Liu Yaqiu Sun Yi-Tao Song Zhi-Ming Zhang Tong-Bu Lu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:1
6A Five-stage Evolution of Earth's Phosphorus Cycle显示文摘Phosphorus(P)is a key biological nutrient and probably the ultimate limiter of marine productivity during Earth history.In recent years,a wealth of new knowledge has revolutionized our understanding of the global P cycle,yet its longterm evolution remains incompletely documented.In this paper,we review the effects of three major controlling factors on the long-term evolution of the global P cycle,i.e.,tectonics,marine redox conditions,and bio-evolution,on the basis of which a five-stage model is proposed:StageⅠ(>~2.4 Ga),tectonic-lithogenic-controlled P cycling;StageⅡ(~2.4 Ga to 635Ma),low-efficiency biotic P cycling;StageⅢ(~635 Ma to 380 Ma),transitional biotic P cycling;StageⅣ(~380 Ma to near-modern),high-efficiency biotic P cycling;and Stage V(Anthropocene),human-influenced P cycling.This model implies that the earlier-proposed Ediacaran reorganization of the marine P cycle may represent only the start of a-250-Myr-long transition of the Earth's P cycle(StageⅢ)between the low-efficiency biotic mode of the Proterozoic(StageⅡ)and the high-efficiency biotic mode of the Phanerozoic(StageⅣ).The development of biologically-driven,high-efficiency P cycling may have been a key factor for the increasing frequency and volume of phosphorite deposits since the late Neoproterozoic.JIAO Liangxuan Matthew SDODD Thomas JALGEO LI Chao 2023Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,5:0
7Integrated Stratigraphy and Mineralogy of the Doushantuo Formation in Weng’an,South China,and Implications for Ediacaran Phosphogenesis显示文摘The Ediacaran–Cambrian Phosphogenic Episode is the Earth’s first true phosphogenic event and resulted in worldwide phosphate deposits,which occurred during the processes of the Neoproterozoic Oxygenation Event.The Ediacaran Doushantuo Formation(ca.635–551 Ma)of Weng’an area in central Guizhou,South China,contains two economic phosphorite beds(the Lower and Upper Phosphorite Beds).This paper presents a detailed stratigraphic,sedimentological and mineralogical study of multiple outcrop and drill core sections of the Doushantuo Formation across the Weng’an area,and identified 11 lithofacies and 4 types of phosphatic grains.Significant differences in lithofacies and grain types between the upper and lower phosphate deposits are observed,indicating that the two sets of phosphate deposits are the products of two distinct phosphogenic processes.The Lower Phosphorite Bed mainly consists of banded and laminated phosphorites,contains micro-oncoids formed by microbially-mediated precipitation and peloids formed by in-situ chemically oscillating reactions,indicating a biochemical and chemical enrichment of phosphorus to sediments during the Early Ediacaran Period.The Upper Phosphorite Bed is mainly composed of carbonaceous,massive,and stromatolitic phosphorites,contains bioclasts(phosphatized spheroidal fossils),and intraclasts formed by hydrodynamic agitation,suggesting that the major accesses of phosphorus to sediments were the remineralization of organic P.Deposition of the two economic phosphorite beds was controlled by two sea-level cycles.Such differences have also been documented in contemporaneous phosphate-bearing successions in Brazil and Mangolia,indicating a significant shift in global phosphogenic mechanism during the early and middle Ediacaran,which may be due to the changes in redox conditions in seawater,associated with the Neoproterozoic Oxygenation Event.These regional active P-cycle processes could produce more free oxygen,which may have contributed to the upcoming Phanerozoic global oxidation.Liangxuan Jiao Zhenbing She Dominic Papineau Yaguan Zhang Matthew S.Dodd Kenan Cao Qun Chen Guoyong Chen 2024Journal of Earth Science2024,35,2:0
8Syntheses, Crystal Structures, Magnetic and Near-infrared Luminescence Properties of 3d-4f Coordination Polymers Cu2Pr2, Cu2Eu2 and Cu4Tb2显示文摘Three new 3d-4f heterometallic coordination polymers(CPs), namely,[Pr2(CuL)2(nipt)3(H2O)]·2H2O (Cu2Pr2,1),[Eu2(CuL)2(nipt)3(H2O)]-2H2O(Cu2Eu2, 2) and [Tb2(CuL)4(nipt)3]-8.3H2O(Cu4Tb2,3)(CuL,H2L= 2,3-dioxo-5,6,14,15-dibenzo-1,4,8,12-tetraazacyclo-pentadeca-7,13-dien;nipt^2-= 5-nitroisophthalate) were obtained by a solvothermal method and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses, elemental analyses, Fourier transform infrared spectra and ultraviolet visible absorption spectra. In Cu2Pr2 and Cu2Eu2,μ3-bridged and μ5-bridged nipt^2- ligands alternately linked three Ln^3+ and five metal ions(three Ln^3+ and two Cu^2+ ions) to generate a 2D heterometallic framework with 3,3,4,5-connected (3.4.5)(3^2.4^2.5.6^3.72)(4^2.6^3.8)(4^2.6) topology. In Cu4Tb2,μ2-bridged and μ4-bridged nipt2- ligands alternately connected two Tb3+ and four metal ions(two Tb^3+ and two Cu^2+ ions) by carboxylating into a corrugated heterometallic 2D layer with 3-connected (63) topology. The magnetic properties of Cu2Pr2 and Cu2Eu2 were also discussed, the results show tliat both CPs have a weak antimagnetic interaction.
