| 4 | Proportion of viable myocardium is more reliable than semi-quantitative score in predicting functional recovery: a pilot studyof PET myocardial viability imaging显示文摘PET myocardial viability imaging is the 'gold standard' for the non-invasive assessment of myocardial viability. The research aims to find out the best methods of imaging interpretation in predicting the postoperative functional recovery. Twenty-one CAD patients with multi-vessel involvement were recruited. All patients underwent gated myocardial perfusion imaging(G-MPI) and FDG PET myocardial imaging within 2 weeks before coronary artery bypass grafting. The postoperative G-MPI was performed in all patients 3 months after the surgery. Out of the total 420 segments, 164 segments of ischemic myocardium were detected by preoperative G-MPI. Among them, 93 ischemic segments were identified as non-viable(difference score≥0) and the rest 71 segments were identified as viable(difference score<0). The proportion of viable segments (the ratio of viable segments versus ischemic segments) and summed difference score of metabolism to perfusion were calculated. The patients were further divided into 2 groups according to the proportion of viable myocardium: groupⅠ(the proportion≥50%, 12 cases) and groupⅡ(the proportion<50%, 9 cases) while another division was made according to SDS: group A (SDS≥0), group B (-5≤SDS<0) and group C (SDS<-5). The diagnostic accuracy of proportion of viable segments and SDS in predicting the post-revascularization improvement in the left ventricular ejection fraction by at least 5 or more ejection fraction units was 88.89% (8/9) and 55.56% (5/9) respectively. It is concluded that both approaches allow accurate evaluation of myocardial viability. | 8 | Facile One-Pot Synthesis of ZSM-5 Aggregates with Interand Intra-Crystalline Mesopores for Methanol to Gasoline Conversion显示文摘ZSM-5 aggregates consisting of superfine and hierarchical nanocrystals(combined with micropores and intra-crystalline mesopores) with an average size of 30 nm were prepared through one-pot synthesis with the assistance of anionic polyacrylamide(APAM). The resultant zeolites(AHN-ZSM-5) were characterized by XRD, ICP-OES, SEM, TEM, BET, NH_3-TPD, Py-IR, and TG analyses and evaluated in the methanol to gasoline(MTG) reaction. Characterization results show that the hierarchical ZSM-5 aggregates possessed two kinds of mesopores, namely inter-and intra-crystalline mesopores. The amount of APAM considerably influenced the mesoporosity and textural properties of AHN-ZSM-5 zeolites. With the addition of APAM in the synthesis, the AHN-ZSM-5 zeolites exhibited large mesopore volume, large external surface area, and appropriate acidity. | 9 | A monolithic InP/SOI platform for integrated photonics显示文摘The deployment of photonic integrated circuits(PICs)necessitates an integration platform that is scalable,high-throughput,cost-effective,and power-efficient.Here we present a monolithic InP on SOI platform to synergize the advantages of two mainstream photonic integration platforms:Si photonics and InP photonics.This monolithic InP/SOI platform is realized through the selective growth of both InP sub-micron wires and large dimension InP membranes on industry-standard(001)-oriented silicon-on-insulator(SOI)wafers.The epitaxial InP is in-plane,dislocation-free,site-controlled,intimately positioned with the Si device layer,and placed right on top of the buried oxide layer to form“InP-on-insulator”.These attributes allow for the realization of various photonic functionalities using the epitaxial InP,with efficient light interfacing between the III-V devices and the Si-based waveguides.We exemplify the potential of this InP/SOI platform for integrated photonics through the demonstration of lasers with different cavity designs including subwavelength wires,square cavities,and micro-disks.Our results here mark a critical step forward towards fully-integrated Si-based PICs. | Zhao Yan Yu Han Liying Lin Ying Xue Chao Ma Wai Kit Ng Kam Sing Wong Kei May Lau | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,11: | 0 |
| 10 | Large-scale preparation of high-performance boron nitride/aramid nanofiber dielectric composites显示文摘Dielectric polymers featuring high thermal conductivity,excellent mechanical,and stable dielectric properties over a broad temperature range have attracted extensive scientific attention.In this work,a large-scale,layered film was fabricated using blade-coating approach,which integrated aramid nanofibers(ANFs)and boron nitride nanosheets(BNNSs)through a typical solgel transformation procedure.The as-prepared film with 20 wt.%BNNS displays high thermal conductivity(14.03 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1)),103-fold higher than pure ANF film,attributing to massive continuous thermal conduction pathway between BNNSs so as to facilitate fast phonon transmission.The film boasts excellent mechanical properties(stress 97.14±5.17 MPa,strain 19.36±0.35%),high degradation temperature(~542℃),a moderate dielectric constant(~6.9 at 104 Hz),together with low dielectric loss(~0.026 at 104 Hz).Meanwhile,the film reveals high breakdown voltage(310 MV·m^(−1))and volume resistivity(1013Ω·cm).Notably,these dielectric properties remain largely unchanged over a wide temperature range(25 to 200℃). | Liying Su Xiaoyan Ma Jiale Zhou Xiangchen Liu Fanglin Du Chao Teng | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,9: | 0 |
| 11 | Volatile Components and Antitumor Activity of Ganoderma lucidum Spore Oil and Its Molecular Distillation Components显示文摘[Objectives]To compare the effects of molecular distillation on the flavor and antitumor activity of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil.[Methods]G.lucidum spore oil was separated and purified by molecular distillation technology,and the volatile components of different components of molecular distillation were analyzed by gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry(GC-IMS)technology.Human liver carcinoma cells(HepG2),human breast cancer cells(MCF-7),and human cervical cancer cells(Hela)were selected as the tumor cell lines to be tested,and the cell viability was detected by the MTT assay.[Results]Molecular distillation effectively reduced small molecular substances produced by oil oxidation in G.lucidum spore oil,such as heptanal,octanal,linalool,hexanal,E-2-octanal,3-ethylpyridine,etc.Among the heavy components,the content of esters was relatively high,mainly including ethyl levulinate,ethyl crotonate,and amyl butyrate.The MTT cytotoxicity test indicated that G.lucidum spore oil and its molecular distillation components had certain inhibitory effects on the growth of three tumor cells,and G.lucidum spore oil crude oil had the most significant antitumor activity.G.lucidum spore oil crude oil,heavy component,and light component had the most significant antitumor activity on HepG2 cells,followed by MCF-7 cells,and the weakest antitumor activity on Hela cells.The quality of G.lucidum spore oil became higher after molecular distillation,and the rancid smell was reduced,and molecular distillation had little effect on the antitumor activity of G.lucidum spores.[Conclusions]Molecular distillation technology can be applied to the refining of G.lucidum spore oil to improve product quality. | Mengxue SUN Liying NI Yuhong HUANG Bin WANG Ming ZHANG Chao MA Maoyu WU | 2023 | Asian Agricultural Research2023,15,1: | 0 |
