| 1 | Osteoimmunomodulatory effects of biomaterial modification strategies on macrophage polarization and bone regeneration显示文摘Biomaterials as bone substitutes are always considered as foreign bodies that can trigger host immune responses.Traditional designing principles have been always aimed at minimizing the immune reactions by fabricating inert biomaterials.However,clinical evidence revealed that those methods still have limitations and many of which were only feasible in the laboratory.Currently,osteoimmunology,the very pioneering concept is drawing more and more attention-it does not simply regard the immune response as an obstacle during bone healing but emphasizes the intimate relationship of the immune and skeletal system,which includes diverse cells,cytokines,and signaling pathways.Properties of biomaterials like topography,wettability,surface charge,the release of cytokines,mediators,ions and other bioactive molecules can impose effects on immune responses to interfere with the skeletal system.Based on the bone formation mechanisms,the designing methods of the biomaterials change from immune evasive to immune reprogramming.Here,we discuss the osteoimmunomodulatory effects of the new modification strategies—adjusting properties of bone biomaterials to induce a favorable osteoimmune environment.Such strategies showed potential to benefit the development of bone materials and lay a solid foundation for the future clinical application. | Yajuan Xie Cheng Hu Yi Feng Danfeng Li Tingting Ai Yulei Huang Xiaodan Chen Lijia Huang Jiali Tan | 2020 | Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,3: | 22 |
| 2 | EET research on the Al-22%Si alloy under the action of electric pulses显示文摘Based on the empirical electron theory of solids and molecules (EET), the phase valence electron structure parameters of Al-22%Si alloy are calculated, and the sensitivity of the bond network of Al-Si alloy melt to temperature (energy) and the effect of the sensitivity on the morphology are studied. The results show that the Si-Si clusters with larger nA in the slightly superheated Al-Si alloy melt supply the nucleation core to the primary silicon phase in the hypereutectic Al-22%Si alloy, and strongly generate the drag-like effect for the Al-Si clusters around them; that the variation of temperature significantly affects the stability of bonds of the core so that the solidified structure is changed; that the electric pulse applied to the alloy melt can irrecoverably alter the stability of Si-Si clusters, then the modifica- tion of the solidified structure morphology of alloys is generated; that the higher the energy of the electric pulse, the less stable the Si-Si clusters, and the more significant the electric pulse modification. | WANG JianZhong HE LiJia LIN Cheng CANG DaQiang | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,11: | 4 |

| 7 | Catalytic[2+2+2]Tandem Cyclization with Alkyl Substituted Methylene Malonate Enabling Concise Total Synthesis of Four Malagasy Alkaloids显示文摘Myrtoidine and malagashanine,highly complex indole alkaloids,are effective adjuvants in developing cures for plasmodium malaria and potent multi-drug resistant agents.Despite nearly 30 years of progress,myrtoidine and the related family of Malagasy alkaloids still present formidable challenges for synthetic chemists.Here,we developed a diastereoselective[2+2+2]tandem cyclization reaction with alkyl-substituted methylene malonate,enabling highly efficient collective total synthesis of four Malagasy alkaloids from commercially available tryptamines within 10-13 steps.The synthetic strategy included rapid and highly stereoselective assembly of the tetracyclic indoline core containing 5-7 contiguous stereogenic carbon centers,rarely seen in indole alkaloids.Among the four natural products,(±)-myrtoidine,(±)-11-demethoxymyrtoidine,and(±)-12-hydroxymalagashanine were synthesized for the first time,and the work on(±)-malagashanine represented the shortest synthetic route so far.Our current study should enable further explorations of chemical and biological spaces based on myrtoidine,malagashanine,and related natural products. | Yu-Jing Cheng Liu-Peng Zhao Lijia Wang Yong Tang | 2023 | CCS Chemistry2023,5,1: | 0 |
| 8 | Time-series variation and attribution analysis of downward shortwave radiation over the Yunnan-Kweichow plateau from 1984 to 2018显示文摘The downward shortwave radiation(DSR)is a key input parameter for land surface models and climate models.Based on the daily averaged Global Land Surface Satellite downward shortwave radiation(GLASS-DSR)dataset over the Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau(YKP)from 1984 to 2018,this paper analyzes variation trend and breakpoints of DSR.The results show that:annual averaged DSR decreases at a decreasing rate of-1.84 W·m^(-2)·decade^(-1) over the YKP from 1984 to 2018;the overall distribution of interannual averaged DSR shows higher in the mid-west,and gradually decreasing from west to northeast over the YKP;the estimated averaged DSR is larger in spring than in summer due to the influence of the monsoon;monthly averaged DSR reaches its maximum in May and its minimum in December;breakpoints are found in the seasonal and trend components of daily averaged DSR.Eleven driving factors are examined for their effects on DSR variation,including annual average temperature,precipitation,10 m wind speed,aerosol optical thickness(AOT),total cloud cover,elevation,slope,aspect,longitude,latitude,and climate zones.According to thefindings,AOT predominates in the spatio-temporal distribution of DSR over the YKP.This study will contribute to studies related to climate change and highland radiation. | Lijia Cheng Bo-Hui Tang Zhiwei He Zhitao Fu Menghua Li | 2023 | International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1: | 0 |
