| 1 | VOCs在MAC上吸附等温线的测定与拟合显示文摘大气中挥发性有机物(VOCs)所造成的污染严重地危害人体健康,引起了社会公众和政府的高度重视,研究高效的VOCs治理技术已是一个刻不容缓的课题.本文主要研究用微电磁天平在线测定20、60、90、140℃时甲苯、丁醇和乙酸乙酯在蜂窝状活性炭MAC上的吸附等温线,并用Langmuir、Freundlich、Langmuir-Freun-dlich、DR和Toth方程对吸附实验等温线进行了拟合.结果表明,MAC对3种VOCs都有比较大的吸附容量,是一种有效的治理VOCs的方法;无论在低浓度下还是在高浓度下,Toth方程都能够很好地拟合甲苯、丁醇和乙酸乙酯在MAC上的吸附等温线,相对误差不超过±6%. | 谢兰英 Lingai Luo 李忠 | 2006 | 化工学报2006,57,6: | 9 |
| 2 | MULTISCALE OPTIMIZATION OF FLOW DISTRIBUTION BY CONSTRUCTAL APPROACH显示文摘Constructal approach is a recent concept allowing to generate and optimize multi-scale structures, in particular, branching structures, connecting a microscopic world to a macroscopic one, from an engineer's point of view.Branching morphologies are found in many types of natural phenomena, and may be associated to some kind of optimization, expressing the evolutionary adaptation of natural systems to their environment. In a sense, the constructal approach tries to imitate this morphogenesis while short-cutting the trial-and-error of nature.The basic ideas underlying the constructal concept and methodology are illustrated here by the examples of fluid distribution to a multi-channel reactor, and of the design of a porous material and system for gas adsorption and storage. In usual constructal theory, a tree branching is postulated for the channels or flow-paths or conductors, usually a dichotomic tree (every branch is divided into two 'daughters'). The objective function of the optimization is built from the resistances to mass or heat transport, expressed here as 'characteristic transport times', and the geometric result is expressed as a shape factor of a domain. The optimized shape expresses the compromise between the mass or heat transport characteristics at adjacent scales. Under suitable assumptions, simple analytical scaling laws are found, which relate the geometric and transport properties of different scales.Some challenging geometric problems may arise when applying the constructal approach to practical situations where strong geometric constraints exist. | 3 | ADSORPTION ISOTHERMS AND POTENTIAL DISTRIBUTIONS OF NITROGEN ON VARIOUS ACTIVATED CARBONS显示文摘The adsorption isotherms of four activated carbons (Norit RB1, Chemviron BPL, Monolit, and Ambersorb-572) have been examined by nitrogen adsorption at 77.5 K. A method for adsorption potential distribution calculation has been proposed based on the adsorption isotherms. This distribution provides information about possible changes in the Gibbs free energy caused by the energetic and geometrical heterogeneities of an activated carbon as well as by the adsorbate-related entropic effects. | 4 | Transportation of low-grade thermal energy over long distance by ammonia-water absorption显示文摘This paper presents the importance and the cycle choice for long-distance transportation of low-grade thermal energy, and the thermodynamic and hydrodynamic feasibility of single-effect ammonia-water absorption system for heat or cold transportation over long distance are also involved. A model of a long-distance thermal energy transportation system is built and analyzed, which shows satisfactory and attractive results. When a steam heat source at 120℃ is available, the user site can get hot water output at about 55℃ with the thermal COP of about 0.6 and the electric COP of about 100 in winter, and cold water output at about 10℃ with the thermal COP of about 0.5 and the electric COP of 50 in summer. A small-size prototype is built to verify the performance analysis. Basically the experimental data show good accordance with the analysis results. | 7 | Uncertainty Analysis of Seepage-Induced Consolidation in a Fractured Porous Medium显示文摘Numerical modeling of seepage-induced consolidation process usually encounters significant uncertainty in the properties of geotechnical materials.Assessing the effect of uncertain parameters on the performance variability of the seepage consolidation model is of critical importance to the simulation and tests of this process.To this end,the uncertainty and sensitivity analyses are performed on a seepage consolidation model in a fractured porous medium using the Bayesian sparse polynomial chaos expansion(SPCE)method.Five uncertain parameters including Young’s modulus,Poisson’s ratio,and the permeability of the porous matrix,the permeability within the fracture,and Biot’s constant are studied.Bayesian SPCE models for displacement,flow velocity magnitude,and fluid pressure at several reference points are constructed to represent the input-output relationship of the numerical model.Based on these SPCE models,the total and first-order Sobol’indices are computed to quantify the contribution of each uncertain input parameter to the uncertainty of model responses.The results show that at different locations of the porous domain,the uncertain parameters show different effects on the output quantities.At the beginning of the seepage consolidation process,the hydraulic parameters make major contributions to the uncertainty of the model responses.As the process progresses,the effect of hydraulic parameters decreases and is gradually surpassed by the mechanical parameters.This work demonstrates the feasibility to apply Bayesian SPCE approach to the uncertainty and sensitivity analyses of seepage-induced consolidation problems and provides guidelines to the numerical modelling and experimental testing of such problems. | Lingai Guo Marwan Fahs Hussein Hoteit Rui Gao Qian Shao | 2021 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,10: | 1 |
