1Neoarchean(2.5-2.8 Ga) crustal growth of the North China Craton revealed by zircon Hf isotope:A synthesis显示文摘The crustal growth of the North China Craton(NCC) during the Neoarchean time(2.5—2.8 Ga) is a hotly controversial topic,with some proposing thai the main crustal growth occurred in the late Neoarchean (2.5—2.6 Ga),in agreement with the time of the magmatism,whereas others suggest that the main crustal accretion took place during early Neoarchean time(2.7—2.8 Ga),consistent with the time of crustalformation of other cratons in the world.Zircon U-Pb ages and Hf isotope compositions can provide rigorous constraints on the time of crustal growth and the evolution and tectonic division of the NCC.In this contribution, we make a comprehensive review of zircon Hf isotope data in combination with zircon U-Pb geochronology and some geochemistry data from various divisions of the NCC with an aim to constrain the Neoarchean crustal growth of the NCC.The results suggest that both 2.7—2.8 Ga and 2.5—2.6 Ga crustal growth are distributed over the NCC and the former is much wider than previously suggested.The Eastern block is characterized by the main 2.7—2.8 Ga crustal growth with local new crustal-formation at 2.5—2.6 Ga,and the Yinshan block is characterized by~2.7 Ga crustal accretion as revealed by Hf-isotope data of detrital zircons from the Zhaertai Group.Detrital zircon data of the Khondalite Belt indicate that the main crustal growth period of the Western block is Paleoproterozoic involving some~2.6 Ga and minor Early- to Middle-Archean crustal components,and the crustal accretion in the Trans-North China Orogen(TNCO) has a wide age range from 2.5 Ga to 2.9 Ga with a notable regional discrepancy.Zircon Hf isotope compositions,coupled with zircon ages and other geochemical data suggest that the southern margin may not be an extension of the TNCO,and the evolution and tectonic division of the NCC is more complex than previously proposed,probably involving multi-stage crustal growth and subduction processes.However, there is no doubt that 2.7—2.8 Ga magmatism and crustal-formation are more widely distributed than previously considered,which is further supported by the data of zircons from Precambrian lower crustal rocks, overlying sedimentary cover,modern river sediments and Late Neoarchean syenogranites.Andong Wang Yican Liu 2012Geoscience Frontiers2012,3,2:25

3A Method for Detection of Main Metabolites in Aromatic Rice Seeds显示文摘[Objective] A method was developed for the analysis of main metabolites in aromatic rice seeds by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry( GC-MS).[Method]The main metabolites in seeds of 9 different aromatic rice varieties were compared and analyzed with two methods. Method 1: the compound was extracted by the mixture of anhydrous ethanol and methylene chloride( V/V = 1∶ 1) at 60 ℃ for 3 h in water bath; the extract was isolated and detected by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry using HP-5 capillary column with scan monitoring mode. Method 2: the main metabolites in aromatic rice seeds were detected using headspace solid phase micro-extraction and gas chromatography mass spectrometry( GC-MS). [Result]Fifteen types of common metabolites were found in 9 different aromatic rice varieties. Method 1 was more effective than method 2 in detecting the main metabolites in aromatic rice seeds. 6Connections between Evaporite Deposition and Glacial Periods since the Middle Pleistocene in Salt Lakes in the Western Qaidam Basin, China显示文摘The Quaternary was the main evaporite deposition period in the Qaidam Basin(QB), but the correlation between the evaporite deposition period and the glacial period is still unclear. In this study, the research objects are primarily evaporite-bearing strata in a 461.58 m-long drill core in the QB. X-ray powder diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) were applied to study the evaporite minerals, U-Th dating being applied to construct the ~(230)Th geochronological framework. Evaporite deposition from Marine Isotope Stage(MIS) 15 to MIS 4 in the borehole was reconstructed via mineralogical and geochronological data. The evaporite minerals are mainly halite(NaCl), mirabilite(Na_(2)SO_(4)·10H_(2)O), thenardite(Na_(2)SO_(4)) and gypsum(CaSO_(4)·2H_(2)O). A total of 9 effective ~(230)Th data points, ranging from 492.5 ± 43.0 ka to 62.0 ± 11.9 ka, were obtained. The depositional age of the earliest halite layer in the borehole is 592.5–563.0 ka. There were mirabilite deposits in the QB during the cold glacial environment of MIS 6. During MIS 4, the study area desiccated, with mirabilite and halite being deposited. 7D-stability and disturbance attenuation properties fornetworked control systems: switched system approach显示文摘Both D-stability and finite L_2-gain properties are studied for a class of uncertain discrete-time systems with timevarying network-induced delays. By using coordinate transform and delay partition, the D-stability and H∞ performance problems for such networked control systems(NCSs) are equivalently transferred into the corresponding problems for switching systems with arbitrary switching. Then, a sufficient condition for the existence of the robust D-stabilizing controllers is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality(LMI), and the design method is also presented for the state feedback controllers which guarantee that all the closed-loop poles remain inside the specified disk D(α, r)and the desired disturbance attenuation level. 9Deformation field around a thrust fault:A comparison between laboratory results and GPS observations of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘On May 12,2008,an Mw7.9 earthquake occurred in Wenchuan County,Sichuan Province,China.Movement of Yingxiu–Beichuan Fault in the Longmenshan Fault Zone was considered to be the main cause of the earthquake.Earthquakes are closely related to fault activities.Therefore,studying the strain distribution and evolution process around active fault zones is important to the understanding of seismic activities.In this study,we conduct laboratory experiments with uniaxial compression applied to marble sheets with intentionally fabricated cracks.The speckle patterns of the rock samples under different loading conditions are recorded in real time by a digital camera.To calculate the deformation fields of the deliberately cracked marble sheets during different stages of the loading processes,the recorded images are processed by the digital image correlation method.The distribution and variation of the displacement and strain are further analyzed in order to understand the strain localization of and observed damage in the experimental fracture zones.Finally,we compare these laboratory results with the GPS-observed coseismic displacements during the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake,to assess the consistency between our laboratory observations and the field observations of the earthquake,but also to suggest how laboratory results can improve thinking about how earthquake patterns do and do not reflect fault patterns.Ru Liu YongHong Zhao JiaYing Yang Qi Zhang AnDong Xu 2019Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,6:2

13Changes in P2Y purinoreceptor-mediated intracellular calcium signal pathways results in inositol-1, 4, 5-triphosphate-sensitive calcium stores in rat small trigeminal ganglion neurons显示文摘BACKGROUND: Most of the currently available information on purinergic receptors (P2Rs) involved in pain transmission is based on results obtained in dorsal root ganglion or the spinal cord. However, the mechanism of P2Rs in trigeminal neuralgia remains unclear. OBJECTIVE: To investigate changes in the P2R-mediated calcium signaling pathway in nociceptive trigeminal ganglion neurons. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: In vitro experiments were conducted at the Patch-Clamp Laboratory of Comprehensive Experiment Center of Anhui Medical University, China from September 2008 to June 2009. MATERIALS: Thapsigargin, caffeine, suramin, and adenosine 5’-triphosphate were purchased from Sigma, USA. METHODS: Using Fura-2-based microfluorimetry, intracellular calcium concentration ([Ca2+]i) was measured in freshly isolated adult rat small trigeminal ganglion neurons before and after drug application. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Fluorescent intensities were expressed as the ratio F340/F380 to observe [Ca2+]i changes. RESULTS: In normal extracellular solution and Ca2+-free solution, application of thapsigargin (1 μmol/L), a sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ pump adenosine 5’-triphosphate inhibitor, as well as caffeine (20 mmol/L), a ryanodine receptor agonist, triggered [Ca2+]i increase in small trigeminal ganglion neurons. A similar response was induced by application of adenosine 5’-triphosphate (100 μmol/L). In Ca2+-free conditions, adenosine 5’-triphosphate-induced [Ca2+]i transients in small trigeminal ganglion neurons were inhibited in cells pre-treated with thapsigargin (P < 0.01), but not by caffeine (P > 0.05). In normal, extracellular solution, adenosine 5’-triphosphate-induced [Ca2+]i transients in small trigeminal ganglion neurons were partly inhibited in cells pre-treated with thapsigargin (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Inositol-1, 4, 5-triphosphate (IP3)- and ryanodine-sensitive Ca2+ stores exist in rat nociceptive trigeminal ganglion neurons. Two pathways are involved in the purinoreceptor-mediated [Ca2+]i rise observed in nociceptive trigeminal ganglion neurons. 15Amplifying Orbital Angular Momentum Modes in Ring-Core Erbium-Doped Fiber显示文摘Lots of research efforts have been devoted to increase the transmission capacity in optical communications using orbital angular momentum(OAM)multiplexing.To enable long-haul OAM mode transmission,an in-line OAM fiber amplifier is desired.A ring-core fiber(RCF)is considered to be a preferable design for stable OAM mode propagation in the fiber.Here,we demonstrate an OAM fiber amplifier based on a fabricated ring-core erbium-doped fiber(RC-EDF).We characterize the performance of the RC-EDF-assisted OAM fiber amplifier and demonstrate its use in OAM multiplexing communications with OAM modes carrying quadrature phase-shift keying(QPSK)and quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM)signals.The amplification of two OAM modes over four wavelengths is demonstrated in a data-carrying OAM-division multiplexing and wavelength-division multiplexing system.The obtained results show favorable performance of the RC-EDF-assisted OAM fiber amplifier.These demonstrations may open up new perspectives for long-haul transmission in capacity scaling fiber-optic communications employing OAM modes.Jun Liu Shi Chen Hongya Wang Shuang Zheng Long Zhu Andong Wang Lulu Wang Cheng Du Jian Wang 2020Research2020,,1:1

19Ultrafast Photoinduced Electron Transfer in a Photosensitizer Protein显示文摘Photosystem Ⅱ(PSⅡ)is a large membrane protein(∼700 kDa)complex,harboring P680+,the strongest oxidant known in biological systems,which is responsible for driving tyrosine oxidation and ultimately O_(2) generation.While the enhancement and expansion of PSⅡ functions through genetic engineering would be beneficial for driving challenging chemical reactions,this has proven difficult due to its enormous complexity.Here,we report a genetically encoded,27 kDa photosensitizer protein(PSP3)that recapitulates the initial photoinduced key properties of PSⅡ.Through the genetic incorporation of benzophenone-alanine(BpA)into a fluorescent protein coupled with femtosecond transient absorption measurement,we show that photoinduced electron transfer from residue Tyr203 to the PSP3 chromophore occurs very rapidly(∼1 ps),which is comparable with that of the first electron transfer step in PSII.Since PSP3 can be overexpressed in high yield in Escherichia coli and genetically engineered easily,it might facilitate challenging oxidation and reduction reactions in vitro and in vivo.Dandan Zheng Min Tao Longjiang Yu Xiaohong Liu Andong Xia Jiangyun Wang 2022CCS Chemistry2022,4,4:1
