| 1 | Prevention and Treatment of Leprosy--China,2009−2019显示文摘Since 1981,worldwide leprosy prevalence has declined sharply due to the implementation of multidrug therapy(MDT)conducted by the World Health Organization(WHO).The national prevalence of leprosy finally decreased to 0.05 per 10,000 population in 1998,which meant the WHO threshold of leprosy elimination(below 1 per 10,000 population)was reached in China through a wellorganized control network and through the implementation of MDT(1).However,the number of newly registered leprosy cases each year,the grade 2 disability(G2D)rate,as well as the rate of fatal adverse drug reactions(ADR)had not significantly changed since 1998(2–3),so leprosy is still seen as a public health problem in China.In addition,dermatological clinics rather than leprosy control stations became the main source for leprosy case finding at every level.Delayed diagnosis was common due to a general lack of awareness and adequately precise techniques among dermatologists to detect Mycobacterium leprae(M.leprae)that results in leprosy. | Qing Zhao Yonghu Sun Hong Liu Furen Zhang | 2020 | China CDC weekly2020,2,4: | 2 |
| 2 | VUV Spectroscopy of GdPO_4∶Eu^(3+) and GdBO_3∶Eu^(3+)显示文摘The emission and the excitation spectra of GdPO4∶Eu3+ and GdBO3∶Eu3+ prepared by solid state reaction method were investigated using the synchrotron radiation source of SUPERLUMI station of HASYLAB. The energy transfer between Gd3+ and Eu3+ was discussed with the probability of quantum cutting process. In the excitation spectra monitoring the red emission from Eu3+, the distinct lines corresponding to the intraconfigurational 4f-4f transitions from Gd3+ were observed for both samples, indicating an efficient energy transfer from host Gd3+ ions to the doped Eu3+ ions. The efficient energy transfer is necessary for the quantum cutting process based on the two-step energy transfer from Gd3+ to Eu3+. However, the overlapping of the lines corresponding to Gd3+∶8S7/2→6GJ and the broad excitation band (180~270 nm) due to Eu3+-O2- charge transfer states (CTS) around 200 nm cause excitation energy on ()6GJ levels to dissipate into CTS by direct energy transfer, unfavorable to the cross relaxation energy transfer between Gd3+ and Eu3+, thus unfavorable to the quantum cutting process. | 12 | Water Quality Assessment of Dachangshan ArtificialHabitat Development Demonstration Area显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to evaluate the water quality environment in Dachangshan artificial habitat development demonstration area.[Method] From 2013 to 2015, an environmental survey was conducted for eight voyages in Dachangshan artificial habitat development demonstra-tion area of Changhai County, Dalian City, and 20 hydrochemical indexes including salinity, p H, and COD were monitored. The water quality of the sea area was analyzed by principal component analysis and single factor index method. [Result] Except for that the control area of the August 2014 voyage belonged to II-class sea water standard, the water quality in other stations of all voyages conformed to I-class sea water standard. Totally 20 water quality indicators were synthesized into six principal components using principal component analysis, which explained 79.165% of the results;the principal component score was ranged from-1.536 to 3.706; the score in August 2014 was the highest, and the evaluation results were basically consistent with the results of single factor index analysis. | 13 | Temperature Dependence of Red Long Afterglow from Y_2O_2S∶Eu, Ti, Mg显示文摘At low temperature, some long-lasting phosphors could not work well in practical applications. So it is necessary to investigate the temperature dependence of the phosphors. The Y2O2S∶Eu, Ti, Mg microcrystalline samples were prepared by solid state reaction method. Phosphors were sintered at 1150 ℃ for 20 min in air, putting in and taking out both at high temperature. The emission spectra and the afterglow spectra as well as the thermoluminescence curve were measured for Y2O2S∶Eu, Ti, Mg. Its temperature dependence of the afterglow spectra and decay curves were studied from 140 to 300 K and from 290 to 350 K respectively. When the temperature is lower than 230 K, namely the start temperature point in its thermoluminescence curve, the intensity of the afterglow emission is weak, due to the probability of releasing electrons from traps is very small. With temperature rising from 230 to 290 K, the intensity of the afterglow emission are gradually increased and the thermoluminescence curve is going up. The reason is that the probability of releasing electrons from traps is becoming bigger and bigger. With temperature rising from 290 to 350 K, the decay time of the afterglow becomes quicker and quicker. As from 290 to 350 K the thermoluminescence curve is going down, the temperature is higher than the thermoluminescence peak 278.5 K indicating that the traps are rather shallow, and the electrons would be released from traps more easily and quicker.
