1The influence of stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype on breast cancer patient survival: a hospital.based multi.center study显示文摘Background: Stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype are important clinical factors associated with breast cancer patient survival. However, subgroup survival data from a large study sample are limited in China.To estimate the survival differences among patients with different stages and various subtypes of breast cancer, we conducted a hospital-based multi-center study on breast cancer in Beijing, China.Methods: All resident patients diagnosed with primary, invasive breast cancer between January 1,2006 and December 31,2010 from four selected hospitals in Beijing were included and followed up until December 31,2015. Hospitalbased data of stage at diagnosis, hormone receptor status, and selected clinical characteristics, including body mass index(BMI), menopausal status, histological grade, and histological type, were collected from the medical records of the study subjects. Overall survival(OS) and cancer-specific survival(CSS) were estimated. Cox proportional hazards models were employed to evaluate the associations of stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype with patient survival.Results: The 5-year OS and CSS rates for all patients were 89.4% and 90.3%. Survival varied by stage and molecular subtype. The 5-year OS rates for patients with stage I, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and IV diseases were 96.5%, 91.6%, 74.8%, and 40.7%,respectively, and the corresponding estimates of 5-year CSS rates were 97.1%, 92.6%, 75.6%, and 42.7%, respectively.The 5-year OS rates for patients with luminal A, luminal B, HER2, and triple-negative subtypes of breast cancer were92.6%, 88.4%, 83.6%, and 82.9%, respectively, and the corresponding estimates of 5-year CSS rates were 93.2%, 89.1 %,85.4%, and 83.5%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype were important prognostic factors for breast cancer.Conclusions: Survival of breast cancer patients varied significantly by stage and molecular subtype. Cancer screening is encouraged for the early detection and early diagnosis of breast cancer. 2Arabidopsis SOI33/AtENT8 Gene Encodes a Putative Equilibrative Nucleoside Transporter That Is Involved in Cytokinin Transport In Planta显示文摘The plant phytohormone cytokinin plays an important role in many facets of plant growth and development by regulating cell division and differentiation. Recent studies have shed significant light into the mechanisms of cytokinin metabolism and signaling. However, little is known about how the hormone is transported in planta, although it has been proposed that the hormone is presumably transported in nucleoside-conjugated forms. Here, we report the identification and characterization of cytokinin transport ers in Arabidopsis. We previously reported that a gain-of-function mutation in the PGA22/AtIPT8 gene caused overproduction of cytokinins in planta. In an effort to screen for suppressor of pga22/atipt8 (soi) mutants, we identified a mutant soi33-1. Molecular and genetic analyses indicated that SOI33 encodes a putative equilibrative nucleoside transporter (ENT), previously designated as AtENT8. Members of this small gene family are presumed to be involved in the transport of nucleosides in eukaryotic cells. Under conditions of nitrogen starvation, loss-of-function mutations in SOI33/AtENT8 or in a related gene AtENT3 cause a reduced sensitivity to the nucleoside-type cytokinins isopentenyladenine riboside (iPR) and trans zeatin riboside (tZR), but display a normal response to the free base-type cytokinins isopentenyladenine (iP) and trans-zeatin (tZ). Conversely, overexpression of SOI33/AtENT8 renders transgenic plants hyper sensitive to iPR but not to iP. An in planta measurement experiment indicated that uptake efficiency of 3H labeled iPR was reduced more than 40% in soi33 and atent3 mutants. However, a mutation inAtENT1 had no substantial effect on the cytokinin response and iPR uptake efficiency. 3Simultaneous Determination of Plant Growth Regulators in Fruits Using a Modified Qu ECh ERS Procedure and UPLC–MS/MS显示文摘Six plant growth regulators frequently used in fruit were detected using UPLC–MS/MS including chlormequat chloride, GA3, forchlorfenuron,paclobutrazol, thidiazuron and 2,4-D. A modified Qu ECh ERS method was used in pretreatment: each compound was extracted with acetonitrile containing 1% acetic acid and cleaned with a mixture of ostade-cylsilane(ODS) and Mg SO_4. The detection was performed using electrospray ionization(ESI) and multiple reaction monitoring mode(MRM) and quantified using the external standard method. Results indicated that the calibration curves of six plant growth regulators were linear within the range of 1–100 μg·kg^(-1) with correlation coefficients over 0.999. The recovery at four spiked concentrations, 1, 20, 50, and 100 μg·kg^(-1), ranged from 60.77% to 119.43% and relative standard deviation(RSD) were between 0.18% and 32.94%. 4Radiomics-based predictive risk score: A scoring system for preoperatively predicting risk of lymph node metastasis in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: To develop and validate a radiomics-based predictive risk score(RPRS) for preoperative prediction of lymph node(LN) metastasis in patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 717 who underwent surgical resection for primary NSCLC with systematic mediastinal lymphadenectomy from October 2007 to July 2016. By using the method of radiomics analysis, 591 computed tomography(CT)-based radiomics features were extracted, and the radiomics-based classifier was constructed. Then, using multivariable logistic regression analysis, a weighted score RPRS was derived to identify LN metastasis. Apparent prediction performance of RPRS was assessed with its calibration,discrimination, and clinical usefulness.Results: The radiomics-based classifier was constructed, which consisted of 13 selected radiomics features.Multivariate models demonstrated that radiomics-based classifier, age group, tumor diameter, tumor location, and CT-based LN status were independent predictors. When we assigned the corresponding score to each variable,patients with RPRSs of 0-3, 4-5, 6, 7-8, and 9 had distinctly very low(0%-20%), low(21%-40%), intermediate(41%-60%), high(61%-80%), and very high(81%-100%) risks of LN involvement, respectively. The developed RPRS showed good discrimination and satisfactory calibration (C-index: 0.785, 95% confidence interval(95% CI):0.780-0.790)Additionally, RPRS outperformed the clinicopathologic-based characteristics model with net reclassification index(NRI) of 0.711(95% CI: 0.555-0.867).Conclusions: The novel clinical scoring system developed as RPRS can serve as an easy-to-use tool to facilitate the preoperatively individualized prediction of LN metastasis in patients with resectable NSCLC. 6In Situ Analyses of Trace Elements, U–Pb and Lu–Hf Isotopes in Zircons from the Tongshankou Granodiorite Porphyry in Southeast Hubei Province, Middle-Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt, China显示文摘The Tongshankou Cu-Mo deposit, located in southeast Hubei province, is a typical skarn–porphyry type ore deposit closely related to the Tongshankou granodiorite porphyry, characterized by a high Sr/Y ratio.Detailed in situ analyses of the trace elements and U–Pb and Lu–Hf isotopes in zircons from the Tongshankou granodiorite porphyry were performed.Scarcely any inherited zircons were observed, and the analyzed zircons yielded highly concordant results with a weighted mean 206Pb/238 U age of 143.5 ± 0.45 Ma(n=20, mean square weighted deviation was 0.75), which was interpreted to represent the crystallization age of the Tongshankou granodiorite porphyry.The chondrite-normalized rare-earth element pattern was characterized by a slope that steeply rises from the light-group rare-earth elements(LREE) to the heavy-group rare-earth elements(HREE) with a positive Ce-anomaly and inconspicuous Eu-anomaly, which was coincident with the pattern of the zircons from the Chuquicamata West porphyry, Chile.The analyzed zircons also had relatively low 176Hf/177 Hf ratios of 0.282526–0.282604.Assuming t=143 Ma, the corresponding calculated initial Hf isotope compositions(εHf(t)) ranged from-5.6 to-2.9.The results of the in situ analysis of trace elements and U–Pb and Lu–Hf isotopes in zircons from the Tongshankou granodiorite porphyry suggest that a deep-seated process involving a thickened-crust/enriched-mantle interaction may play an important role in the generation of high Sr/Y-ratio magma and potentially in the generation of porphyry Cu-Mo systems.XIA Jinlong HUANG Guicheng DING Lixue CHENG Shunbo 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,5:5
7Advances in core–shell engineering of carbon-based composites for electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Electromagnetic(EM)absorption is paving the way to overcome the challenges related to conventional shielding strategy against EM pollution through sustainable energy dissipation.As characteristic functional media that can interact with electric or magnetic field branch,EM wave absorption materials(EWAMs)have received extensive attention and realized considerable development in the past two decades,where carbon-based composites are always considered as promising candidates for high-performance EMAWs due to their synergetic loss mechanism as well as diversified composition and microstructure design.Recent progress indicates that there is more and more interest in the fabrication of carbon-based composites with unique core–shell configuration.On one hand,core–shell configuration usually ensures good chemical homogeneity of final products and provides some positive protections for the components with susceptibility to corrosion,on the other hand,it creates enough heterogeneous interfaces between different EM components,which may bring enhanced polarization effect and intensify the consumption of EM energy.In this review,we firstly introduce EM wave absorption theory,and then highlight the advances of core–shell engineering in carbonbased composites in terms of built-in carbon cores and built-out carbon shells.Moreover,we also show some special core–shell carbon-based composites,including carbon/carbon composites,assembled composites,and decorated composites.After analyzing EM absorption performance of some representative composites,we further propose some challenges and perspectives on the development of core–shell carbon-based composites.Lixue Gai Honghong Zhao Fengyuan Wang Pan Wang Yonglei Liu Xijiang Han Yunchen Du 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:5
8Tone features in whispered Chinese显示文摘Study on the whispered tone is important to speech recognition and conversion in whispered Chinese.In this paper,the characteristics of whispered speech are introduced and the tone features in whispered Chinese are discussed.There is no fundamental fre-quency in the whispered speech,so other features,such as the amplitude envelope,duration,glottal area,lip area,formant,and vocal tract length,are extracted and their contributions to the automatic tone recognition are compared.From the experiments with six simple Chinese whispered vowels in four tones,it is proved that loudness-weighted32Mel-frequency bands log-amplitude envelopes and duration can be used as the main tone features in the whispered Chinese tone recognition.The average tone recognition rate approaches that of the human perception level.LIXueli XUBoling 2005Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2005,15,3:5

10Research progress of nanocellulose for electrochemical energy storage:A review显示文摘Recently, in response to the major challenges in energy development and environmental issues, tremendous efforts are being devoted to developing electrochemical energy storage devices based on green sustainable resources. As a class of green materials, nanocellulose(NC) has received extensive attention. In this review, we summarize the research progress of NC derived materials in electrochemical energy storage. Specifically, we first introduce various synthesis methods based on NC and the pretreatment process to increase the conductivity. Then we focus on the specific application of NC in electrochemical energy storage devices. 12Improved greenhouse cucumber production under deficit water and fertilization in Northern China显示文摘The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different water and fertilizer applications on biomass,yield and fruit physical quality of greenhouse cucumber under drip irrigation.The experiment was conducted at Water Conservancy Research Institute,Shenbei District,Shenyang,Northern China during February-July,2016.Nine treatments were used in randomized block design consisted of three levels of water field capacity(FC)and urea-potash(N-K)fertilizer combinations:W1(65%of FC),W_(2)(75%of FC),W3(85%of FC)and N_(1)-K_(1)(285-305 kg/hm^(2)),N2-K2(420-435 kg/hm^(2)),N_(3)-K_(3)(530-565 kg/hm^(2)).Local farmers’conventional application of water(100%)and fertilizer(NPK)was considered as check(CK)for comparison.Data obtained was analyzed(ANOVA)to check the significant effect of treatments.The results revealed that,treatment W_(3)N_(2)K_(1) obtained highest cucumber yield of 129.99 t/hm^(2),while W_(1)N_(1)K_(1) recorded the lowest yield(113.29 t/hm^(2)),in which total amount of seasonal water applied ranges from 85.3 mm to 172.36 mm.The highest yield was obtained 0.5%greater than the CK yield(129.35 t/hm^(2)).The water and fertilizer application was significantly(p<0.001)influenced on cucumber yield.Moreover,the influence of water application was significantly(0.01Shaikh Abdullah Al Mamun Hossain Lixue Wang Haisheng Liu 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4:3
13Cyanoethyl cellulose-based eutectogel electrolyte enabling high-voltage-tolerant and ion-conductive solid-state lithium metal batteries显示文摘Solid-state polymer electrolytes are an important factor in the deployment of highsafety and high-energy-density solid-state lithium metal batteries.Nevertheless,use of the traditional polyethylene oxide-based solid-state polymer electrolyte is limited due to its inherently low ionic conductivity and narrow electrochemical stability window.Herein,for the first time,we specifically designed a cyanoethyl cellulosein-deep eutectic solvent composite eutectogel as a promising candidate for hybrid solid-state polymer electrolytes.It is found that the proposed eutectogel electrolyte achieves high ionic conductivity(1.87×10^(−3) S cm^(−1) at 25℃),superior electrochemical stability(up to 4.8 V),and outstanding lithium plating/striping behavior(low overpotential of 0.04 V at 1mAcm^(−2) and 1mAh cm^(−2) over 300 h).With the eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolyte,a 4.45 V LiCoO_(2)/Li metal battery delivers prominent long-term lifespan(capacity retention of 85%after 200 cycles)and high average Coulombic efficiency(99.5%)under ambient conditions,significantly outperforming the traditional carbonate-based liquid electrolyte.Our work demonstrates a promising strategy for designing eutectogel-based solid-state polymer electrolytes to realize high-voltage and high-energy lithium metal batteries.Hao Zhang Lixue Zhou Xiaofan Du Jianjun Zhang Songwei Tian Tingting Liu Jinning Zhang Sijia Hu Weiling Song Xinhong Zhou Guanglei Cui 2022Carbon Energy2022,4,6:3
14Enhanced Discharged Efficiency and High Energy Density at Elevated Temperature in Polymer Dielectric via Manipulating Relaxation Behavior显示文摘Polymer dielectrics with excellent dielectric properties and energy storage performance under elevated temperature are urgently needed in electrical power systems.Polyetherimide(PEI),which is supposed to be the most promising candidate among polymer dielectric materials,has a limitation for high-temperature dielectric applications especially at high electric field owing to secondary relaxation.Herein,a series of self-cross-linkable oligomers are prepared by combining the advantages of PEI and phenylethynyl groups.Cross-linked polymer dielectric films with enhanced voltage resistance and low leakage current density are obtained by cross-linking under oxygen.The occurrence ofβ-relaxation is diminished by cross-linking,which makes polymer dielectrics exhibit desirable dielectric stability over a broad temperature and frequency range.Particularly,the dielectric loss of c-10%PEPA-PEI at 1000 Hz is 0.0037 and 0.0043 at room temperature and 150℃,respectively.Simultaneously,the polymer dielectric maintains a still low dielectric loss(<0.010)between 10^(2)and 10^(6)Hz.Furthermore,c-10%PEPA-PEI possesses excellent hightemperature energy storage performance owing to much interchain reaction originating from proper chain length,and exhibits ultrahigh charge–discharge efficiency(>95.0%)and improved energy density(3.6 J/cm^(3))at 150℃.The authors believe that these cross-linked films showing excellent dielectric performance have a promising future in high-temperature applications.Yu Zhang Zheng Liu Lixue Zhu Jie Liu Yunhe Zhang Zhenhua Jiang 2020CCS Chemistry2020,2,5:3
15Effect of combination of extracts of ginseng and ginkgo biloba on acetylcholine in amyloid beta-protein-treated rats determined by an improved HPLC显示文摘AIM: To determine the concentration of acetylcholine (ACh) in amyloid beta-protein (Aβ) treated rats and offer a method determining ACh as well. METHODS: A 1-month combination of extrats of ginseng and ginkgo biloba (Naoweikang) ig administration to rats was performed daily after bilateral injection of Aβ1-40(4g/L, 1μL for each side) into hippocampus. After decollation, homogenizing, and centrifuging and extracting, a high pressure liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method using electrochemical detection (ECD) combined with two immobilized enzyme reactors was used to determine ACh in rat whole brain. RESULTS: With a mobile phase consisting of disodium hydrogen orthophosphate, tetramethylammonium chloride (TMACl), octanesulfonic acid sodium salt (OSA) and “Reagent MB” at a final pH of 8.0, ACh was determined while removing the interfering choline in less than 10min at a flow rate of 0.35mL/min on a platinum (Pt) working electrode at a potential of +300mV vs a solid-state palladium (Pd) reference electrode. Linear regression analysis of peak area vs concentration demonstrated linearity in the 28.01 to 1400.06μg/L injection range. The r-value was 0.9978. The limit of detection (LOD) is 0.28ng on column. ACh in whole brain decreased by 20.34%(from 162.1±32.7 to 134.7±14.0μg/L, P<0.05) after bilateral injection of Aβ into rat hippocampus. After Naoweikang administration (31 and 15.5mg/kg, respectively), ACh increased by 19.97%(from 134.7±14.0 to 161.6±26.2μg/L, P<0.05) and 18.56%(from 134.7±14.0 to 159.7±22.9μg/L, P<0.05), respectively. CONCLUSION: Naoweikang significantly increased the level of ACh in whole brain of Aβ treated rats. 16Development and Evaluation of a Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification Assay for the Rapid Detection and Identification of Pectobacterium carotovorum on Celery in the Field显示文摘Pectobacterium carotovorum is the causal agent of bacterial soft rot in a wide range of vegetable host species.Once P.carotovorum infects the plant,the spread of the disease is difficult to control.In this study,a rapid and sensitive method based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)was developed for detecting P.carotovorum in celery with soft rot using a primer set designed from the pmrA conserved sequence of P.carotovorum.The specificity of the LAMP primer set for P.carotovorum was extensively validated on both P.carotovorum strains and nontarget strains.The sensitivity was 1 pg of P.carotovorum genomic DNA,which demonstrated 10 times more sensitive than the conventional PCR assay.LAMP was also used to detect P.carotovorum in bacterial suspension.The lowest detection concentration was 104 CFU·mL^−1.In addition,a LAMP assay,in conjunction with a crude DNA extraction method,was successfully performed on P.carotovorum-infected samples derived from both artificially and naturally infected plants.In summary,the LAMP assay established in this study constitutes a simple,sensitive,and rapid method for the detection of P.carotovorum,and has potential application in the control of celery soft rot disease through early detection.Yanxia Shi Zhiwen Jin Xianglong Meng Lixue Wang Xuewen Xie Ali Chai Baoju Li 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,5:3
17A radiomics prognostic scoring system for predicting progression-free survival in patients with stageⅣnon-small cell lung cancer treated with platinum-based chemotherapy显示文摘Objective:To develop and validate a radiomics prognostic scoring system(RPSS)for prediction of progressionfree survival(PFS)in patients with stageⅣnon-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)treated with platinum-based chemotherapy.Methods:In this retrospective study,four independent cohorts of stageⅣNSCLC patients treated with platinum-based chemotherapy were included for model construction and validation(Discovery:n=159;Internal validation:n=156;External validation:n=81,Mutation validation:n=64).First,a total of 1,182 three-dimensional radiomics features were extracted from pre-treatment computed tomography(CT)images of each patient.Then,a radiomics signature was constructed using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator method(LASSO)penalized Cox regression analysis.Finally,an individualized prognostic scoring system incorporating radiomics signature and clinicopathologic risk factors was proposed for PFS prediction.Results:The established radiomics signature consisting of 16 features showed good discrimination for classifying patients with high-risk and low-risk progression to chemotherapy in all cohorts(All P<0.05).On the multivariable analysis,independent factors for PFS were radiomics signature,performance status(PS),and N stage,which were all selected into construction of RPSS.The RPSS showed significant prognostic performance for predicting PFS in discovery[C-index:0.772,95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.765-0.779],internal validation(C-index:0.738,95%CI:0.730-0.746),external validation(C-index:0.750,95%CI:0.734-0.765),and mutation validation(Cindex:0.739,95%CI:0.720-0.758).Decision curve analysis revealed that RPSS significantly outperformed the clinicopathologic-based model in terms of clinical usefulness(All P<0.05).Conclusions:This study established a radiomics prognostic scoring system as RPSS that can be conveniently used to achieve individualized prediction of PFS probability for stageⅣNSCLC patients treated with platinumbased chemotherapy,which holds promise for guiding personalized pre-therapy of stageⅣNSCLC.Lan He Zhenhui Li Xin Chen Yanqi Huang Lixu Yan Changhong Liang Zaiyi Liu 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,5:3
18Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of DNA demethylase family in cotton显示文摘Background:DNA methylation is an important epigenetic factor that maintains and regulates gene expression.The mode and level of DNA methylation depend on the roles of DNA methyltransferase and demethylase,while DNA demethylase plays a key role in the process of DNA demethylation.The results showed that the plant’s DNA demethylase all contained conserved DNA glycosidase domain.This study identified the cotton DNA demethylase gene family and analyzed it using bioinformatics methods to lay the foundation for further study of cotton demethylase gene function.Results:This study used genomic information from diploid Gossypium raimondii JGI(D),Gossypium arboreum L.CRI(A),Gossypium hirsutum L.JGI(AD1) and Gossypium barbadebse L NAU(AD2) to Arabidopsis thaliana.Using DNA demethylase genes sequence of Arabidopsis as reference,25 DNA demethylase genes were identified in cotton by BLAST analysis.There are 4 genes in the genome D,5 genes in the genome A,10 genes in the genome AD1,and 6 genes in the genome AD2.The gene structure and evolution were analyzed by bioinformatics,and the expression patterns of DNA demethylase gene family in Gossypium hirsutum L were analyzed.From the phylogenetic tree analysis,the DNA demethylase gene family of cotton can be divided into four subfamilies:REPRESSOR of SILENCING 1(ROS1),DEMETER(DME),DEMETER-LIKE 2(DML2),and DEMETER-LIKE3(DML3).The sequence similarity of DNA demethylase genes in the same species was higher,and the genetic relationship was also relatively close.Analysis of the gene structure revealed that the DNA demethylase gene family members of the four subfamilies varied greatly.Among them,the number of introns of ROS1 and DME subfamily was larger,and the gene structure was more complex.For the analysis of the conserved domain,it was known that the DNA demethylase family gene member has an endonuclease Ⅲ(END03 c) domain.Conclusion:The genes of the DNA demethylase family are distributed differently in different cotton species,and the gene structure is very different.High expression of ROS1 genes in cotton were under abiotic stress.The expression levels of ROS1 genes were higher during the formation of cotton ovule.The transcription levels of ROS1 family genes were higher during cotton fiber development.YANG Xiaomin LU Xuke CHEN Xiugui WANG Delong WANG Junjuan WANG Shuai GUO Lixue CHEN Chao WANG Xiaoge WANG Xinlei YE Wuwei 2019Journal of Cotton Research2019,2,3:3
19Nitrogen-doped Co_(3)O_(4) nanowires enable high-efficiency electrochemical oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural显示文摘Developing highly efficient and cost-effective catalysts for electrochemically oxidizing biomass-derived 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)into value-added 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA)is of great importance.Herein,we report a controllable nitrogen doping strategy to significantly improve the catalytic activity of Co_(3)O_(4)nanowires for highly selective electro-oxidation of HMF into FDCA.The nitrogen doping leads to the generation of defects including nitrogen dopants and oxygen vacancies in Co_(3)O_(4)nanowires,which is conducive to the formation of catalytically active sites.As a result,the electro-oxidation potential for HMF is only 1.38 V(vs.RHE)when the current density reaches 50 mA/cm^(2).More importantly,the conversion rate of HMF is as high as 99.5%,and the yield of FDCA is up to 96.4%.Mengxiao Sun Yue Wang Chunsen Sun Yan Qi Jia Cheng Yumei Song Lixue Zhang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:2
20MCPIP1 mediates inflammatory responses induced by lipopolysaccharide and lipoteichoic acid in bovine mammary epithelial cells显示文摘Monocyte chemoattractant protein-induced protein 1(MCPIP1)is a kind of zinc finger RNA binding protein,which exerts immune responses in a variety of cell types.However,the role of MCPIP1 in bovine mammary epithelial cells during mastitis has not been studied.In this study,we explored the functions of MCPIP1 in the inflammatory process induced by virulence factors of pathogens in bovine mammary alveolar cell-T(MAC-T)cell line.Our results showed that MCPIP1 was significantly highly expressed both in the mammary tissue of dairy cows with mastitis and in inflammatory MAC-T cells induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)or lipoteichoic acid(LTA).Furthermore,we found that overexpression of MCPIP1 in MAC-T cells abated the LPS-induced increase at the gene expression levels of inflammatory mediators tumor necrosis factor-α-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6 and IL-8,enhanced the LPS-and LTA-induced inhibition of epithelial proliferation and promoted the LPS-and LTA-induced oxidative and DNA damage.These findings indicated that MCPIP1 has an enormous potential in regulating the inflammatory response of bovine mammary epithelial cells during infection and may provide an effective therapeutic target for bovine mastitis to reduce the damage caused by inflammatory reactions.Shaopei Qi Lixue Wang Xiao Chang Yanfen Zhang Yong Zhang Ming-Qing Gao 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,2:2
