2Programmed albumin nanoparticles regulate immunosuppressive pivot to potentiate checkpoint blockade cancer immunotherapy显示文摘The therapeutic efficacy of programmed cell death protein 1/programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-1/PD-L1)blockade immunotherapy is extremely dampened by complex immunosuppressive mechanisms including regulatory T cells(Treg),M2 macrophages(M2),and prostaglandin E2(PGE2).The pivotal roles of PGE2 have been recognized by directly inactivating CD8+T cells and indirectly inducing Treg and M2.Therefore,PGE2 abolishment through inactivating cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)could be robust to sensitize tumour toward anti-PD-1/PD-L1 immunotherapy,which has gone into clinical trials.However,exploring this promising strategy in nanomedicine to enhance immunotherapy remains unrevealed.The key challenge to synergistically combine COX-2 inhibition and anti-PD-1/PD-L1 lies in the different pharmacokinetic profiles and the spatial obstacles since PD-1/PD-L1 interaction occurs extracellularly and COX-2 locates intracellularly.Thus,the programmed release nanoparticles(termed as Cele-BMS-NPs)are rationally designed,which are composed of pH-sensitive human serum albumin derivative,BMS-202 compound as PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor,glutathione(GSH)-activatable prodrug of celecoxib(COX-2 inhibitor).The in vitro experiments demonstrate that this smart Cele-BMS-NPs could extracellularly release BMS-202 under the acidic tumour microenvironment,and the intracellularly release of celecoxib in response to the elevated GSH concentration inside tumour cells.After systemic administration,the intratumoral infiltration of CD8+T cells is significantly enhanced and meanwhile immunosuppressive M2,Treg,and PGE2 are reduced,thereby eliciting the anti-tumour immune responses toward low immunogenic tumours and postsurgical tumour recurrences.Liandong Feng Li Yang Longjie Li Junying Xiao Nana Bie Chao Xu Jun Zhou Hongmei Liu Lu Gan Yuzhou Wu 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:1
3Achieving white-light emission in a single-component polymer with halogen-assisted interaction显示文摘White-light emitting(WLE) polymers have attracted continuous attention for their promising applications in solid-state lighting,flexible display and related fields. However, achieving dual-emission and pure white-light emission in a single-component polymer is still challenging. In this study, a brominated single-component polymer Br OD-TFB was designed and synthesized,which shows dual-emission and white light emission properties in solution and room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP) in thin films. The dual-emission properties can be tuned by concentration, solvent polarity, and excitation energy. Spectral analyses and theoretical calculations reveal that the origin of the high-energy emission band(HEB) is intramolecular charge transfer(ICT)along the polymer chain, whilst the low-energy emission band(LEB) originates from the excited-state related to the intra-chain and inter-chain C–Br···π interactions as demonstrated by the single-crystal structure of the model compound. Appropriate control of the formation and the destruction of the halogen-assisted interactions can initiate white-light emission in the singlecomponent polymer. 5Day-ahead Optimal Dispatch Model for Coupled System Considering Ladder-type Ramping Rate and Flexible Spinning Reserve of Thermal Power Units显示文摘In northern China,thermal power units(TPUs)are important in improving the penetration level of renewable energy.In such areas,the potentials of coordinated dispatch of renewable energy sources(RESs)and TPUs can be better realized,if RESs and TPUs connected to the power grid at the same point of common coupling(PCC)are dispatched as a coupled system.Firstly,the definition of the coupled system is introduced,followed by an analysis on its characteristics.Secondly,based on the operation characteristics of deep peak regulation(DPR)of TPUs in the coupled system,the constraint of the ladder-type ramping rate applicable for day-ahead dispatch is proposed,and the corresponding flexible spinning reserve constraint is further established.Then,considering these constraints and peak regulation ancillary services,a day-ahead optimal dispatch model of the coupled system is established.Finally,the operational characteristics and advantages of the coupled system are analyzed in several case studies based on a real-world power grid in Liaoning province,China.The numerical results show that the coupled system can further improve the economic benefits of RESs and TPUs under the existing policies.Longjie Yang Niancheng Zhou Guiping Zhou Yuan Chi Ning Chen Lei Wang Qianggang Wang Dongfeng Chang 2022Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,6:1
6Super-simplified fiber scanner for cellular-resolution endoscopic imaging显示文摘Fiber scanners are portable and miniaturized laser scanning devices used for a wide range of applications,such as endoscopic probes for biomedical imaging.However,in order to achieve different resonant frequencies for 2D actuation,existing fiber scanners have complex actuation mechanisms and structures,resulting in being an obstacle for endoscopic imaging.By exploiting the intrinsic difference in bending stiffness of non-symmetrical fibers,we present the most simplified fiber scanner to date,containing only a single piezoelectric bimorph and a single non-symmetrical fiber with a 1D actuator for 2D laser scanning.5-fps(frames per second)Lissajous scan is achieved with a scanning range of>300μm and a driving voltage of≤10Vpp.The ultra simplified structure of the fiber scanner enables a miniaturized optical probe with a diameter of 1.9 mm,and image quality comparable to that of commercial microscopes.Taking advantage of its ease of manufacture and low cost,the fiber scanner offers a transformative way forward for disposable endoscopic probes that avoid the risk of cross infection during endoscopic inspections.LU HE XIJIE LI JIE YANG LONGJIE JIANG QIAN LIU LING FU 2023Photonics Research2023,11,12:0
7A novel temperature-compensation method based on correlation analysis for multi-FOG INS显示文摘Aimed at improving the bias stability of Fiber-Optic Gyroscope(FOG)-based inertial navigation systems in environments of various ambient temperatures,a novel temperaturecompensation method based on a correlation analysis of the same batch of FOGs is proposed.The empirical mode decomposition method was employed to filter the high-frequency noises of the FOGs.Then,the correlation information of the multiple FOGs was used to analyze the feasibility of the method.Eventually,the same residual error of the FOGs was compensated via the simple piecewise linear models.The experimental results indicate that excellent compensation effects for both high-and low-accuracy FOGs are achieved using the proposed method.Specifically,the accuracies of high-accuracy FOGs are improved by approximately 33.9%,20%,and 31.2%,while those of low-accuracy FOGs are improved by approximately 39.1%,20.8%,and 26.1%.The method exhibits the merits of simplicity,validity,and stability,and thus is expected to be widely used in engineering applications.Longjie TIAN Yanxiong NIU Chenwei HUANG Haoyang LI Yang PANG Yanqiang YANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,6:0
