Precise orbit determination of Beidou Satellites with precise positioning显示文摘Chinese Beidou satellite navigation system constellation currently consists of eight Beidou satellites and can provide preliminary service of navigation and positioning in the Asia-Pacific Region.Based on the self-developed software Position And Navigation Data Analysis(PANDA) and Beidou Experimental Tracking Stations (BETS),which are built by Wuhan University, the study of Beidou precise orbit determination, static precise point positioning (PPP),and high precision relative positioning, and differential positioning are carried out comprehensively. Results show that the radial precision of the Beidou satellite orbit determination is better than 10 centimeters. The RMS of static PPP can reach several centimeters to even millimeters for baseline relative positioning. The precision of kinematic pseudo-range differential positioning and RTK mode positioning are 2-4 m and 5-10 cm respectively, which are close to the level of GPS precise positioning.Research in this paper verifies that, with support of ground reference station network,Beidou satellite navigation system can provide precise positioning from several decimeters to meters in the wide area and several centimeters in the regional area. These promising results would be helpful for the implementation and applications of Beidou satellite navigation system. | SHI Chuang ZHAO QiLe LI Min TANG WeiMing HU ZhiGang LOU YiDong ZHANG HongPing NIU XiaoJi LIU JingNan | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,7: | 61
A review of real-time multi-GNSS precise orbit determination based on the filter method显示文摘Stable and reliable high-precision satellite orbit products are the prerequisites for the positioning services with high performance. In general, the positioning accuracy depends strongly on the quality of satellite orbit and clock products, especially for absolute positioning modes, such as Precise Point Positioning(PPP).With the development of real-time services,real-time Precise Orbit Determination(POD)is indispensable and mainly includes two methods:the ultra-rapid orbit prediction and the real-time filtering orbit determination. The real-time filtering method has a great potential to obtain more stable and reliable products than the ultra-rapid orbit prediction method and thus has attracted increasing attention in commercial companies and research institutes. However, several key issues should be resolved, including the refinement of satellite dynamic stochastic models, adaptive filtering for irregular satellite motions, rapid convergence, and real-time Ambiguity Resolution(AR).This paper reviews and summarizes the current research progress in real-time filtering POD with a focus on the aforementioned issues. In addition, the real-time filtering orbit determination software developed by our group is introduced, and some of the latest results are evaluated. The Three-Dimensional(3D)real-time orbit accuracy of GPS and Galileo satellites is better than 5 cm with AR.In terms of the convergence time and accuracy of kinematic PPP AR,the better performance of the filter orbit products is validated compared to the ultra-rapid orbit products. | Yidong Lou Xiaolei Dai Xiaopeng Gong Chenglong Li Yun Qing Yang Liu Yaquan Peng Shengfeng Gu | 2022 | Satellite Navigation2022,3,3: | 4

Quasi-4-dimension ionospheric modeling and its application in PPP显示文摘Ionospheric delay modeling is not only important for Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)based space weather study and monitoring, but also an efficient tool to speed up the convergence time of Precise Point Positioning(PPP).In this study,a novel model, denoted as Quasi-4-Dimension Ionospheric Modeling(Q4DIM)is proposed for wide-area high precision ionospheric delay correction. In Q4DIM,the Line Of Sight(LOS)ionospheric delays from a GNSS station network are divided into different clusters according to not only the location of latitude and longitude, but also satellite elevation and azimuth. Both Global Ionosphere Map(GIM)and Slant Ionospheric Delay(SID)models that are traditionally used for wide-area and regional ionospheric delay modeling, respectively, can be regarded as the special cases of Q4DIM by defining proper grids in latitude, longitude, elevation, and azimuth.Thus,Q4DIM presents a resilient model that is capable for both wide-area coverage and high precision.Four different sets of clusters are defined to illustrate the properties of Q4DIM based on 200 EUREF Permanent Network(EPN)stations. The results indicate that Q4DIM is compatible with the GIM products. Moreover,it is proved that by inducting the elevation and azimuth angle dependent residuals, the precision of the 2-dimensional GIM-like model,i.e.,Q4DIM 2-Dimensional(Q4DIM-2D),is improved from around 1.5 Total Electron Content Units(TECU)to better than 0.5 TECU.In addition, treating Q4DIM as a 4-dimensional matrix in latitude, longitude, elevation, and azimuth, whose sparsity is less than 5%,can result in its feasibility in a bandwidth-sensitive applications,e.g.,satellite-based Precising Point Positioning Real-Time Kinematic(PPP-RTK)service.Finally,the advantages of Q4DIM in PPP over the 2-dimensional models are demonstrated with the one month's data from 30 EPN stations in both high solar activity year 2014 and low solar activity year 2020. | Shengfeng Gu Chengkun Gan Chengpeng He Haixia Lyu Manuel Hernandez-Pajares Yidong Lou Jianghui Geng Qile Zhao | 2022 | Satellite Navigation2022,3,3: | 1

GSTAR:an innovative software platform for processing space geodetic data at the observation level显示文摘To meet the demands for the data combination with multiple space geodetic techniques at the observation level,we developed a new software platform with high extensibility and computation efficiency, named space Geodetic SpatioTemporal data Analysis and Research software(GSTAR).Most of the modules in the GSTAR are coded in C++with object-oriented programming. The layered modular theory is adopted for the design of the software, and the antenna-based data architecture is proposed for users to construct personalized geodetic application scenarios easily. The initial performance of the GSTAR software is evaluated by processing the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)data collected from 315 globally distributed stations over two and a half years. The accuracy of GNSS-based geodetic products is evaluated by comparing them with those released by International GNSS Service(IGS)Analysis Centers(AC).Taking the products released by European Space Agency(ESA)as reference, the Three-Dimension(3D)Root-Mean-Squares(RMS)of the orbit differences are 2.7/6.7/3.3/7.7/21.0 cm and the STandard Deviations(STD)of the clock differences are 19/48/16/32/25 ps for Global Positioning System(GPS),GLObal NAvigation Satellite System(GLONASS),Galileo navigation satellite system(Galileo),BeiDou Navigation Satellite System(BDS),Medium Earth Orbit(MEO),and BDS Inclined Geo-Synchronous Orbit(IGSO)satellites, respectively. The mean values of the X and Y components of the polar coordinate and the Length of Day(LOD)with respect to the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service(IERS)14 C04 products are-17.6 microarc-second(μas),9.2μas,and 14.0μs/d.Compared to the IGS daily solution, the RMSs of the site position differences in the north/east/up direction are 1.6/1.5/3.9,3.8/2.4/7.6,2.5/2.4/7.9 and 2.7/2.3/7.4 mm for GPS-only,GLONASS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only solution, respectively. The RMSs of the differences of the tropospheric Zenith Path Delay(ZPD),the north gradients, and the east gradients are 5.8,0.9,and 0.9 mm with respect to the IGS products. The X and Y components of the geocenter motion estimated from GPS-only,Galileo-only,and BDS-only observations well agree with IGS products, while the Z component values are much nosier where anomalous harmonics in GNSS draconitic year can be found. The accuracies of the above products calculated by the GSTAR are comparable with those from different IGS ACs.Compared to the precise scientific orbit products, the 3D RMS of the orbit differences for the two Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment Follow-on(GRACE-FO)satellites is below 1.5 cm by conducting Precise Point Positioning with Ambiguity Resolution(PPP-AR).In addition,a series of rapid data processing algorithms are developed, and the operation speed of the GSTAR software is 5.6 times faster than that of the Positioning and Navigation Data Analyst(PANDA)software for the quad-system precise orbit determination procedure. | Chuang Shi Shiwei Guo Lei Fan Shengfeng Gu Xinqi Fang Linghao Zhou Tao Zhang Zhen Li Min Li Wenwen Li Cheng Wang Yidong Lou | 2023 | Satellite Navigation2023,4,3: | 0
Monitoring absolute vertical land motions and absolute sea-level changes from GPS and tide gauges data over French Polynesia显示文摘In this study,we estimate the absolute vertical land motions at three tidal stations with collocated Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)receivers over French Polynesia during the period 2007-2020,and obtain,as ancillary results, estimates of the absolute changes in sea level at the same locations. To verify our processing approach to determining vertical motion,we first modeled vertical motion at the International GNSS Service(IGS)THTI station located in the capital island of Tahiti and compared our estimate with previous independent determinations, with a good agreement. We obtained the following estimates for the vertical land motions at the tide gauges:Tubuai island,Austral Archipelago-0.92±0.17 mm/yr,Vairao village,Tahiti Iti:-0.49±0.39 mm/yr,Rikitea,Gambier Archipelago-0.43±0.17 mm/yr.The absolute variations of the sea level are:Tubuai island,Austral Archipelago 5.25±0.60 mm/yr,Vairao village,Tahiti Iti:3.62±0.52 mm/yr,Rikitea,Gambier Archipelago 1.52±0.23 mm/yr.We discuss these absolute values in light of the values obtained from altimetric measurements and other means in French Polynesia. | Xianjie Li Jean-Pierre Barriot Bernard Ducarme Marania Hopuare Yidong Lou | 2024 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2024,15,1: | 0
