| 2 | Stability analysis of alkaline nitrobenzene-containing wastewater by a catalyzed Fe-Cu treatment process显示文摘Iron and copper bimetallic system(catalyzed Fe-Cu process)is a promising technology for alkaline nitrobenzene-containing wastewater treatment.However,little is currently known about the changes of treatment efficiency with time going.This research investigated the long-term performance of the catalyzed Fe-Cu process to reduce nitrobenzene(NB)in alkaline wastewater.In addition,the changes of the metal surfaces morphologies and matters before and after the reaction were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)in conjunction with energy-dispersion spectroscopy(EDS)and X-ray diffraction spectros-copy(XRD).The results showed that the surface properties of copper almost remained unchanged after weeks of operation,which spelled its strong chemical stability and resistance to poisoning.Moreover,the results indicated that there were two reasons for the treatment efficiency decreasing with time.One was the gradual iron element consumption due to corro-sion.The other was iron reactivity weakened due to the precipitates accumulation on the surfaces that were mainly Fe_(3)O_(4) and FeCO. | FAN Jinhong XU Wenying GAO Tingyao MA Luming | 2007 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2007,1,4: | 3 |

| 9 | An integrated spectroscopic strategy to trace the geographical origins of emblic medicines: Application for the quality assessment of natural medicines显示文摘Emblic medicine is a popular natural source in the world due to its outstanding healthcare and therapeutic functions.Our preliminary results indicated that the quality of emblic medicines might have an apparent regional variation.A rapid and effective geographical traceability system has not been designed yet.To trace the geographical origins so that their quality can be controlled,an integrated spectroscopic strategy including spectral pretreatment,outlier diagnosis,feature selection,data fusion,and machine learning algorithm was proposed.A featured data matrix(245220)was successfully generated,and a carefully adjusted RF machine learning algorithm was utilized to develop the geographical traceability model.The results demonstrate that the proposed strategy is effective and can be generalized.Sensitivity(SEN),specificity(SPE)and accuracy(ACC)of 97.65%,99.85%and 97.63%for the calibrated set,as well as 100.00%predictive efficiency,were obtained using this spectroscopic analysis strategy.Our study has created an integrated analysis process for multiple spectral data,which can achieve a rapid,nondestructive and green quality detection for emblic medicines originating from seventeen geographical origins. | Luming Qi Furong Zhong Yang Chen Shengnan Mao Zhuyun Yan Yuntong Ma | 2020 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,4: | 1 |

Specimens saturated with hydrogen up to 65×10-6~68×10-6 were tested in air attemperatures ranging from 77 to 293 K. Hydrogen caused the increase in cryogenic strength,both yield strength and ultimate tensile strength. Hydrogen decreased cryogenic ductility, andthe maximum hydrogen embrittlement (HE) tendency was found at a certain low temperature.Cr-Ni-Mn-N auStenitic Steels showed the featuref δL > ΨL at low temperatures, here, δL and ΨLare the hydrogen induced loss rates of elongation and reduction of area, respectively. Hydrogenhad less effect on cryogenic Charpy impact toughness and notched tensile strength, however,hydrogen decreased cryogenic fracture toughness of the steels. | 15 | Formation and transformation of schwertmannite in the classic Fenton process显示文摘The massive amount of sludge generated by the classic Fenton process, which has often been hypothesized to consist of ferric hydroxide, remains a major obstacle to its large-scale application. Therefore, reutilization of Fenton sludge has recently gained more attention.Understanding the formation, transformation, and properties of Fenton sludge combined with the stages of the Fenton reaction is pivotal, but not well illustrated yet. In this study,SEM-EDS, FT-IR, XRD, and XPS were applied to study the morphology, crystallinity,elemental composition, and valence state of Fenton sludge. The authors report that schwertmannite and 2-line ferrihydrite were generated and transformed in the oxidation phase and the neutralization phase of the Fenton process. SO_4^(2-) in the solution decreased by8.7%–26.0% at different molar ratios of Fe(II) to H_2 O_2; meanwhile, iron ion precipitated completely at pH 3.70 with the formation of schwertmannite containing sulfate groups in the Fenton sludge. The structural sulfate(Fe-SO_4) in schwertmannite was released from the precipitate with the addition of OH-, and the production of Fenton sludge decreased with increasing pH when pH > 3.70. Goethite was found to form when the final p H was adjusted to 12 or at a reaction temperature of 80°C. Moreover, the possible thermal transformation to goethite and hematite indicated that Fenton sludge can be reused as a raw material for synthesizing more stable iron(hydro)oxides.
