Land-Use Spatial Optimization Based on PSO Algorithm显示文摘The optimization of land-use spatio-structure is one of the most important areas of land use management;constructing a spatial optimization model that is based on the micro spatial unit in a bottom-up mode plays an important role in coupling the quan-tity structure and spatial structure effectively. The objective of this research is to develop a land use spatial optimization model based on particle swarm optimization to make spatial decision in land use management. The model is implemented using real data-sets to emulate the process of spatial structure optimization in order to get the best landscape pattern under the control of decision environments.Simulation results revealed that the particle swarm optimization model has the ability to utilize the quantity and spa-tial structure.Furthermore, the result demonstrated that it can be used to stimulate the landscape pattern in designing the appropriate optimization environment, which could land quantity target to the basic spatial units effectively and provide appropriate spa-tio-structure for regional land use space layout decision making.MA Shifa HE Jianhua LIU Feng YU Yan 2011Geo-Spatial Information Science2011,14,1:8
Exploring Smart Growth Boundaries of Urban Agglomeration with Land Use Spatial Optimization:A Case Study of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Group,China显示文摘Urban agglomeration is the main spatial organization mode used by the Chinese government to promote the policy of new urbanization strategy.Hence,a better understanding of the urban growth boundary(UGB)has profound theoretical and practical significance regarding sustainable urban development. This study devised a raster-based land use spatial optimization(LUSO)framework, and utilized ant colony optimization(ACO)algorithm to delimit the smart growth boundaries of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city group(CZTCG)in China. The aim of this study is to design a LUSO model to explore an optimal pattern of urban agglomeration for sustainable growth.Multi growth scenario including a single development center, multipolar development and balanced development patterns are generated by the LUSO model for the year of 2050,and the optimum spatial pattern is chosen based on objectives comparison and the present stage of economic and social development in CZTCG.The main results are listed as the following.1)It is feasible to identify the growth boundaries of the urban agglomeration using the land use spatial optimization model, and the optimal form of the spatial pattern can be defined.2)With the growth trend of the urban agglomeration gradually spreads from a single center to multi-centers and even small towns, the total optimization target performance gradually increases, which means that the traditional pie-shaped development does not meet the maximum comprehensive benefit of the city group.3)Subject to the regional social and economic development stage, absolute fair development or simply developing the central city is not conducive to promoting the coordinated development of the urban agglomeration.Gradient equalization and gradual advancement are the best choice for UGB delineation of urban agglomeration. The findings of this study would be useful to identify the UGB in CZTCG for more sustainable urban development in the future.MA Shifa ZHAO Yabo TAN Xiaohong 2020Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,4:2
Characterizing the urban spatial structure using taxi trip big data and implications for urban planning显示文摘Urban spatial structure is an important feature for assessing the effects of urban planning.Quantifying an urban spatial structure cannot only help in identifying the problems with current planning but also provide a basic reference for future adjustments.Evaluation of spatial structure is a difficult task for planners and researchers and this has been usually carried out by comparing different land use structures. However, these methods cannot efficiently reflect the influence of human activities. With the wide application of big data, analyzing data on human travel behavior has increasingly been carried out to reveal the relationship between urban spatial structure and urban planning. In this study,we constructed a human-activity space network using the taxi trip big data.Clustering at different scales revealed the hierarchy and redundancy of the spatial structure for assessing the appropriateness and shortcomings of urban planning. This method was applied to a case study based on one-month taxi trip data of Dongguan City.Existing urban spatial structures at different scales were retrieved and utilized to assess the effectiveness of the master plan designed for 2000 to 2015 and 2008 to 2020,which can help identify the limitations and improvements in the spatial structure designed in these two versions of the master plan.We also evaluated the potential effect of the master plan designed for 2016 to 2035 by providing a reference for reconstructing and optimizing future urban spatial structure. The analysis demonstrated that the taxi trip data are important big data on social spatial perception, and taxi data should be used for evaluating spatial structures in future urban planning.Haibo LI Xiaocong XU Xia LI Shifa MA Honghui ZHANG 2021Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,1:1
Land-use zoning in fast developing coastal area with ACO model for scenario decision-making显示文摘Potential ecological environment risks have been emerged as the result of land-use change(e.g.urbanization)in coastal areas.Conflicts between urban growth and ecological conservation should be brought to the forefront especially in the fast developing coastal areas. An optimized landscape pattern for land-use planning could reduce the risk at the regional scale. The cell-based allocation of different land use into the geospace(i.e.land-use spatial zoning,LUSZ)to form optimal pattern with planning objectives and constrains could be viewed as a spatial optimization problem. This study aims to develop a framework incorporated with ant colony algorithm optimization(ACO)to solve LUSZ problem based on the planning guideline of China.Three planning scenarios(i.e.development focusing on urban growth, development considering ecological conversion, and coordinative development between growth and protection)were devised and analyzed with the study area of Doumen District.Comparative analysis with landscape metrics and suitability evaluation indicates that scenario of coordinative development is more available and plausible for land-use change management. This study provides a quantitative and feasible procedure to achieve optimal development pattern on given planning objectives. Moreover,it also demonstrates that cell-based spatial optimization model can generate optimal planning scenarios for decision-making.Bin AI Shifa MA Shuo WANG 2015Geo-Spatial Information Science2015,18,1:1
Synergy of activating substrate and introducing C–H…O interaction to achieve Rh2(II)-catalyzed asymmetric cycloisomerization of 1,n-enynes显示文摘We report the first Rh2(II)-catalyzed asymmetric cycloisomerization of activated enynes to provide cyclopropane-fused tetrahydropyridines in good yields and excellent enantioselectivities under mild conditions. The activated group,CHZ(Z is electronwithdrawing group(EWG)),in the enyne substrates exerts two synergetic roles, one is to activate alkyne for the cyclopropanation reaction;the other is to introduce the C–H…O interaction between substrate and catalyst(reducing the energy barrier of the reaction). This double-mode activation was supported by both density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental tests. This strategy was also extended to other CH2 Z(Z can be OH,OMe,F)as activating groups that made the CH2 more acidic so that the substrates could also form increased C–H…O interaction with the catalyst.Rui Wu Kai Chen Jun Ma Zhi-Xiang Yu Shifa Zhu 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,9:0
Integrating logistic regression with ant colony optimization for smart urban growth modelling显示文摘Urban growth does not always strictly follow historical trends;the government may reshape urban growth patterns with considerations of ecological conservation or other plans. Both urban dynamic rules and landscape characteristics are the two main factors influencing the spatial patterns of cities, and obtaining an optimized spatial pattern is veiy important for sustainable urban growth. Therefore,in this study,we integrated logistic regression(LR)with the ant colony optimization(ACO)model to analyze the optimal scenario for smart urban growth. The LR model was used to discuss the relationship between urban patterns and environmental variables such as topography, development centers, and traffic conditions. Then, the urban growth probability was generated using the parameters obtained from LR.The ACO model was further integrated to optimize urban land allocation, which can meet the requirement of high growth probability, and a connected and compacted landscape pattern. This can solve the problem of urban land only being allocated by LR from being distributed fragmentarily in the space. With this integrated model,Guangzhou City,a rapidly developing area in China, was selected as a case study. The urban patterns derived from LR,as well as a simulation scenario using logistic regression-based cellular automata(LR-CA),were used in the comparison.Six landscape metrics were chosen to validate the performance of this proposed model at the pattern level. The results show that the LR-ACO model has a better performance in urban land allocation. This study demonstrated that models that couple dynamic rules and planning objectives can provide plausible scenarios for smart urban growth planning.Shifa MA Feng LIU Chunlei MA Xuemin OUYANG 2020Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,1:0
Shale Lithofacies and Sedimentary Environment of the Third Member,Shahejie Formation,Zhanhua Sag,Eastern China显示文摘Researches into shale lithofacies, their sedimentary environments and relationship benefit understanding both of sedimentary cycle division and unconventional hydrocarbon exploration in lacustrine basins.Based on a 100~300-m-thick dark shale, mudstone and limestone encountered in the lower third member of the Eocene Shahejie Formation(Es3l member)in Zhanhua Sag,Bohai Bay Basin, eastern China, routine core analysis, thin sectioning, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),mineralogical and geochemical measurements were used to understand detailed facies characterization and paleoclimate in the member. This Es3l shale sediment includes three sedimentary cycles(C3,C2 and C1),from bottom to top, with complex sedimentary characters and spatial distribution. In terms of the composition, texture, bedding and thickness, six lithofacies are recognized in this succession. Some geochemical parameters, such as trace elements(Sr/Ba,Na/Al,V/Ni,V/(V+Ni),U/Th),carbon and oxygen isotopes(δ^(18)O,δ^(13)C),and total organic carbon content(TOC)indicate that the shales were deposited in a deep to semi-deep lake, with the water column being salty, stratified, enclosed and reductive.During cycles C3 and C2 of the middle-lower sections, the climate was arid, and the water was salty and stratified.Laminated and laminar mudstone-limestone was deposited with moderate organic matter(average TOC 1.8%)and good reservoir quality(average porosity 6.5%),which can be regarded as favorable reservoir.During the C1 cycle,a large amount of organic matter was input from outside the basin and this led to high productivity with a more humid climate.Massive calcareous mudstone was deposited, and this is characterized by high TOC(average 3.6%)and moderate porosity(average 4%),and provides favorable source rocks.ZHU Xiaomin ZHANG Meizhou ZHU Shifa DONG Yanlei LI Chao BI Yuequan MA Lichi 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,3:0
