2Regulation of phenylpropanoid biosynthesis by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 contributes to pathogen and drought resistance in apple显示文摘MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 have been demonstrated to be responsible for lignin accumulation in apple under drought stress.In this study,using a metabolomic approach,we identified differentially accumulated phenylpropanoid and flavonoid metabolites in MdMYB88/124 transgenic RNAi plants under control and long-term drought stress conditions in apple roots.We confirmed the regulation of phenylalanine by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 via UPLC-MS in apple roots under both control and drought conditions.Using Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay(EMSA)and ChIPquantitative PCR(qPCR)analyses,we found that MdMYB88 positively regulates the MdCM2 gene,which is responsible for phenylalanine biosynthesis,through binding to its promoter region.Under long-term drought conditions,MdMYB88/124 RNAi plants consistently accumulated increased amounts of H2O2 and MDA,while MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 overexpression plants accumulated decreased amounts of H2O2 and MDA.We also examined the accumulation of metabolites in the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathway in the leaves of MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 transgenic apple plants after long-term drought stress.We found that metabolites responsible for plant defense,including phenylpropanoids and flavonoids,accumulated less in the RNAi plants but more in the overexpression plants under both control and drought conditions.We further demonstrated that MdMYB88/124 RNAi plants were more sensitive to Alternaria alternata f.sp.mali and Valsa mali,two pathogens that currently severely threaten apple production.In contrast,MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 overexpression plants were more tolerant to these pathogens.The cumulative results of this study provided evidence for secondary metabolite regulation by MdMYB88 and MdMYB124,further explained the molecular roles of MdMYB88 and MdMYB124 in drought resistance,and provided information concerning molecular aspects of their roles in disease resistance.Dali Geng Xiaoxia Shen Yinpeng Xie Yusen Yang Ruiling Bian Yuqi Gao Pengmin Li Liying Sun Hao Feng Fengwang Ma Qingmei Guan 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:5
3Microwave-assisted Synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4) and Its Effect on Properties of MgO-C Refractories显示文摘Al_(4)SiC_(4) was synthesized from Al powder, silicon carbide, and graphite by microwave sintering, and characterized by XRD and SEM. Then the synthesized material was added to the magnesia carbon refractory brick to study its effect on the oxidation resistance, apparent porosity, bulk density, elastic modulus, and modulus of rupture. 4Aluminum and Activated Alumina Powder Additions on Microwave Synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4)显示文摘Aiming at improving the properties of magnesia carbon materials,silicon aluminum carbide(Al_(4)SiC_(4))containing materials were prepared using industrial aluminum powder,silicon carbide powder,and graphite as raw materials,and activated alumina powder as an additive,mixing thoroughly,pressing into cylinders and then firing at 1200℃for 30 min in a carbon embedded atmosphere by the microwave method.The effects of the aluminum powder addition(20%and 24%,by mass)and activated alumina powder addition(0,3%,5%and 7%,by mass)on the microwave synthesis of Al_(4)SiC_(4) as well as the effect of the obtained Al_(4)SiC_(4) containing material on the properties of magnesia carbon bricks were studied.The results show that:compared with the samples with 20%aluminum powder,those with 24%aluminum powder generate more Al_(4)SiC_(4).With the activated alumina powder addition increasing from 0 to 7%,the amount of Al_(4)SiC_(4) generated increases first and then decreases.Compared with the sample without activated alumina powder,the samples with activated alumina powder show lower bulk density and higher apparent porosity.With the activated alumina powder addition increasing from 3%to 7%,the bulk density of the samples increases first and then decreases,while the apparent porosity of the samples shows an opposite trend.The optimal additions are 24%aluminum powder and 5%activated alumina powder,and Al_(4)SiC_(4) synthesized in this sample has a hexagonal plate structure.With the synthesized Al_(4)SiC_(4) containing material added,the magnesia carbon brick has slightly increased cold modulus of rupture,basically the same modulus of elasticity and improved oxidation resistance.WANG Li LIU Shijie WEI Haoyu MA Juanjuan DONG Binbin GENG Shangrui YAN Miaoxin QIN Feng GUO Yusen 2024China's Refractories2024,33,1:0
5Homogenization Function of Microchannel on Heat Absorber with Compound Parabolic Concentrator显示文摘Microchannels offer unique advantages on heat transfer performance. In this paper, microchannels are applied to the compound parabolic concentrator(CPC) system. A multi-physical field coupling model based on Finite Element Method is proposed to investigate the homogenization effect of the microchannel heat absorber on the CPC non-uniform concentration. The energy conversion process from optics to heat is simulated using TracePro software, and the heat transfer processes in the microchannel are computed by Fluent using user defined functions(UDF). It is found that the microchannels behave well on weakening the influence of the nonuniformity solar heat flux on the performance of the CPC. The temperature nonuniformity of the outlet section is less than 10^(-3) in the direction of fluid flow caused by the microchannel, although the maximum surface heat flux inhomogeneity of the microchannel reaches 2.3. The peak value of the heat flux on the surface of the absorber changes from double peak to single peak, and moves to the edge, resulting in more uneven heat flux distribution with the increase of the incident angle within the acceptance semi-angle of the CPC. The result of TracePro clearly shows that when the concentration ratio is less than 5, the heat flux nonuniformity on the surface of the absorber decreases with the increase in concentration ratio. It was interestingly found that the temperature distribution of the heat transfer fluid has weak sensitivity to the changes of truncation ratio. 6Effect of annealing on the electrical performance of N-polarity GaN Schottky barrier diodes显示文摘A nitrogen-polarity(N-polarity)GaN-based high electron mobility transistor(HEMT)shows great potential for high-fre-quency solid-state power amplifier applications because its two-dimensional electron gas(2DEG)density and mobility are mini-mally affected by device scaling.However,the Schottky barrier height(SBH)of N-polarity GaN is low.This leads to a large gate leakage in N-polarity GaN-based HEMTs.In this work,we investigate the effect of annealing on the electrical characteristics of N-polarity GaN-based Schottky barrier diodes(SBDs)with Ni/Au electrodes.Our results show that the annealing time and tem-perature have a large influence on the electrical properties of N-polarity GaN SBDs.Compared to the N-polarity SBD without annealing,the SBH and rectification ratio at±5 V of the SBD are increased from 0.51 eV and 30 to 0.77 eV and 7700,respec-tively,and the ideal factor of the SBD is decreased from 1.66 to 1.54 after an optimized annealing process.Our analysis results suggest that the improvement of the electrical properties of SBDs after annealing is mainly due to the reduction of the inter-face state density between Schottky contact metals and N-polarity GaN and the increase of barrier height for the electron emis-sion from the trap state at low reverse bias.Nuo Xu Gaoqiang Deng Haotian Ma Shixu Yang Yunfei Niu Jiaqi Yu Yusen Wang Jingkai Zhao Yuantao Zhang 2024Journal of Semiconductors2024,45,4:0
