| 1 | A miniature liquid helium temperature JT cryocooler for space application显示文摘Along with the development of space science and technology,miniature liquid helium temperature long life cryocooler is a focus subject in cryogenic study.Since it is the precondition of space detection researches,institutions of space in many countries do the research on it.In this article,we designed a compound cooling system.A three-stage high frequency thermal coupled pulse tube cryocooler was used to precool a Joule-Thomson(JT)cryocooler.This system has no moving parts at low temperatures and is hence suitable for space operation.Liquid helium temperature was successfully achieved in both open loop and closed cycle experiments.In the closed cycle experiment,when 473 W electric power was inputted,the cooling system reached a no-load temperature of 4.4 K,and a cooling capacity of 11.6 mW was provided at 4.54 K.It is the first miniature liquid helium temperature JT cryocooler in China and the research achievement paves a way for the space application of ultra-long wave infrared detection and THz technologies. | QUAN Jia ZHOU ZhenJun LIU YanJie LI JianGuo MA YueXue LIANG JingTao | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,11: | 16 |
| 2 | LDHs derived nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride as interlayer for long-life lithium sulfur batteries显示文摘Shuttle effect is one of the most serious disadvantages in lithium-sulfur battery which results in poor cycle performance and hinders the commercialization of Li-S battery.To reduce the dissolution of polysulfides into the electrolyte and prolong the cycling stability,nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride derived from layered double hydroxides(LDHs)as an interlayer was inserted between sulfur cathode and separator to confine polysulfides by physical and chemical interactions.Meanwhile,the surface of metal nitride will form an oxide passivation layer.The passivation layer possesses hydrophilic metal-O group and provides a polar surface for strong binding with polysulfide.What’s more,the nanoparticlesstacked structure could immerge and retain electrolyte well,which could enhance the ability of promoting the electron exchange rate.The sulfur electrode with nanoparticle-stacked metal nitride interlayer has an excellent cycle performance owing to the interactions between metal nitride and polysulfides.The battery delivered an initial capacity of 764.6 m Ahg^(-1) and still possesses a capacity of 477.5 mAhg^(-1) with the retention of 62.4% after 800 cycles. | Zhen Li Zhaoling Ma Yanyong Wang Ru Chen Zhenjun Wu Shuangyin Wang | 2018 | Science Bulletin2018,63,3: | 8 |
| 3 | Super-absorbent swellable polymer as grouting material for treatment of karst water inrush显示文摘Grouting is the most commonly used method to control water inrush in underground engineering.Traditional cement-based materials are easy to dilute and hard to coagulate under the influence of large flow and high-velocity water inrush.To address these deficiencies,a new type of polymer grouting material with an excellent expansion ratio was synthesised.The material quickly absorbs water and has an expansion ratio of 1:300.The material is composed of a superabsorbent polymer(SAP),glycerol,and ethanol.The effects of water quality on the expansion ratio and expansion rate of the material were examined,and the best solid–liquid ratio for the slurry was determined by fluidity measurements.A karst specially designed pipeline water inrush test device showed that 800 g of SAP can achieve 0.6 m/s water flow blockage in the smooth pipeline,demonstrating that the ability of the SAP slurry to block water inrush is superior to those of other materials.This study provides a reference for water inrush plugging,and has important implications for the reduction and control of karst pipeline-type water inrush disasters,ensuring the safety of construction sites and preventing loss of life and damage to property. | Shucai Li Chenyang Ma Rentai Liu Mengjun Chen Jia Yan Zhenjun Wang Shaolong Duan Huasheng Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,5: | 2 |

| 7 | N^(6)-methyladenosine methyltransferase plays a role in hypoxic preconditioning partially through the interaction with lncRNA H19显示文摘N^(6)-methyladenosine(m6A),a m ethylation in the N6 position of adenosine especially in the mRNA,exerts diverse physiological and pathological functions.However,the precise role of m 6A methylation in hypoxic preconditioning(HPC)is still unknown.Here,we observed that HPC treatm ent protected H9c2 cells against H2O2-induced injury,upregulated the m 6A level in the total RNA and the expression of methyltransferase like 3(METTL3),methyltransferase like 14(METTL14),and long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)H19.Either knockdown of METTL3 or METTL14 notably reversed the HPC-induced enhancement of cell viability,anti-apoptosis ability,and H19 expression.M ethylated RNA im m unoprecipitation(IP)indicated that knockdown of METTL3 or METTL14 decreased m 6A level in the lncRNA H19.Gain-of-function assay dem onstrated that H19 overexpression could partially rescue the decreased protection mediated by METTL3 or METTL14 knockdown in HPCtreated H9c2 cells.RNA binding protein im m unoprecipitation(RIP)assay showed that METTL3 and METTL14 could directly bind w ith H19.Our study identified a novel pattern of posttranscriptional regulation in HPC treatm ent.Since METTL3,METTL14,and lncRNA H19 were involved in HPC protection,they could be considered as potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets in HPC-derived cardiac rehabilitation and therapeutic approaches. | Yamin Su Rongfeng X u Rui Zhang Yangyang Qu Wenjie Zuo Zhenjun Ji Haihua Geng Min Pan Genshan Ma | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,12: | 1 |

| 14 | A retrospective survey of Brucella melitensis human infection in Hainan Province,China显示文摘In China,brucellosis has spread from the northern provinces to the southern coastal area,and Brucella melitensis has become the overwhelmingly dominant species nationwide.Although human Brucellosis cases have been reported in many parts of Hainan Province,investigations into the source of infection have been rare.In this case,we have used the techniques of bacteriology,genome sequencing,and WGS-SNP to investigate the source of infection on a patient with a traveling history between Hainan and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions.We collected a 5mL blood sample under sterile conditions from this suspected case of Brucellosis infection and incubated it in a culture bottle.A week later,Brucella colonies were purified and identified under the standard bacteriology procedures to show that the strain appeared as B.melitensis bv.3.Subsequently,a draft genome sequencing of this strain was obtained.AWGS-SNP comparison analysis of Chinese B.melitensis selected(n=36)fromGenBank revealed that the strain in this studywas more similar to the strains isolated from China's northern parts,especially those from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.These data indicated that the source of infection of the patient was in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,but the actual location where this patient became infected was unclear.We suggest that travelers from the southern part of China be cautious when visiting the traditional endemic areas of Brucellosis. | Shuyi Ma Xuming Wang Miao Wang Zhiguo Liu Zhenjun Li | 2021 | Biosafety and Health2021,3,3: | 1 |
