| 4 | Ecological Momentary Assessment with smartphones for measuring mental health problems in adolescents显示文摘AIM To analyze the viability of Ecological Momentary Assessment(EMA) for measuring the mental states associated with psychopathological problems in adolescents.METHODS In a sample of 110 adolescents,a sociodemographic data survey and an EMA Smartphone application over a oneweek period(five times each day),was developed to explore symptom profiles, everyday problems, coping strategies, and the contexts in which the events take place.RESULTS The positive response was 68.6%.Over 2250 prompts about mental states were recorded. In 53% of situations the smartphone was answered at home,25.5% of casesthey were with their parents or with peers(20.3%).Associations were found with attention, affective and anxiety problems(P < 0.001) in the participants who took longer to respond to the EMA app.Anxious and depressive states were highly interrelated(rho = 0.51,P < 0.001),as well as oppositional defiant problems and conduct problems(rho = 0.56,P < 0.001).Only in 6.2% of the situations the subjects perceived they had problems, mainly associated with inter-relational aspects with family, peers, boyfriends or girlfriends(31.2%).We also found moderate-high reliability on scales of satisfaction level on the context,on positive emotionality, and on the discomfort index associated with mental health problems.CONCLUSION EMA methodology using smartphones is a useful tool for understanding adolescents' daily dynamics. It achieved moderate-high reliability and accurately identified psychopathological manifestations experienced by community adolescents in their natural context. | Ernesto Magallón-Neri Teresa Kirchner-Nebot Maria Forns-Santacana Caterina Calderón Irina Planellas | 2016 | World Journal of Psychiatry2016,6,3: | 1 |

| 10 | Senecio bonariensis Hook.&Arn.promising arsenic phytoextractor from water in laboratory and field trials显示文摘The use of plant species to cleanse groundwater with excessive concentrations of arsenic(As)derived from contact with weathered materials has become a valuable option to treat it.The aim of this work was to analyze the bioaccumulation capacity of As of Senecio bonariensis(Asteraceae)through controlled laboratory tests and uncontrolled trials in the field in order to generate a low cost method applicable in rural areas that do not have systems of water treatments.Plants collected from the natural environment were arranged in hydroponic crops under controlled and uncontrolled conditions,in the first case with increasing concentrations of As for 45 days, and in the second, with a constant concentration of As for a period in a range between 45 and 90 days. The plants were processed and dried for the measurement of As.In both tests,in all the samples there was a noticeable accumulation of As,generally greater in roots than in leaves.Under controlled conditions the plants accumulated more As in relation to greater concentration of this element in the water. In all the trials a high bioaccumulation of As was found, which turns the plant into a hyperaccumulator.Due to the ability of S.bonariensis to accumulate As,and even more because of the great biomass produced by this species,it becomes an excellent one to be used for the remediation of arsenical waters. | Vanesa Perez Cuadra Viviana Cambi Martín Esposito María Gabriela Sica MagalíVerolo Amira Siniscalchi Elisa Rosalia Parodi | 2019 | Emerging Contaminants2019,5,1: | 0 |
