| 2 | ETCM v2.0:An update with comprehensive resource and rich annotations for traditional Chinese medicine显示文摘Existing traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)-related databases are still insufficient in data standardization,integrity and precision,and need to be updated urgently.Herein,an Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine version 2.0(ETCM v2.0,http://gffzz3ff3e9d9e9f64aa3h0xbxfqxcqcvx6n9b.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/ETCM2/front/#/)was constructed as the latest curated database hosting 48,442 TCM formulas recorded by ancient Chinese medical books,9872 Chinese patent drugs,2079 Chinese medicinal materials and 38,298 ingredients.To facilitate the mechanistic research and new drug discovery,we improved the target identification method based on a two-dimensional ligand similarity search module,which provides the confirmed and/or potential targets of each ingredient,as well as their binding activities.Importantly,five TCM formulas/Chinese patent drugs/herbs/ingredients with the highest Jaccard similarity scores to the submitted drugs are offered in ETCM v2.0,which may be of significance to identify prescriptions/herbs/ingredients with similar clinical efficacy,to summarize the rules of prescription use,and to find alternative drugs for endangered Chinese medicinal materials.Moreover,ETCM v2.0 provides an enhanced Java Script-based network visualization tool for creating,modifying and exploring multi-scale biological networks.ETCM v2.0 may be a major data warehouse for the quality marker identification of TCMs,the TCM-derived drug discovery and repurposing,and the pharmacological mechanism investigation of TCMs against various human diseases. | Yanqiong Zhang Xin Li Yulong Shi Tong Chen Zhijian Xu Ping Wang Meng Yu Wenjia Chen Bing Li Zhiwei Jing Hong Jiang Lu Fu Wenjing Gao Yanhua Jiang Xia Du Zipeng Gong Weiliang Zhu Hongjun Yang Haiyu Xu | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,6: | 3 |

| 4 | Anti-Sca-1 antibody-functionalized vascular grafts improve vascular regeneration via selective capture of endogenous vascular stem/progenitor cells显示文摘Small-diameter vascular grafts fabricated from synthetic biodegradable polymers exhibit beneficial mechanical properties but often face poor regenerative potential.Different tissue engineering approaches have been employed to improve tissue regeneration in vascular grafts,but there remains a requirement for a new generation of synthetic grafts that can orchestrate the host response to achieve robust vascular regeneration.Vascular stem/progenitor cells(SPCs)are mostly found in quiescent niches but can be activated in response to injury and participate in endothelium and smooth muscle regeneration during neo-artery formation.Here,we developed a functional vascular graft by surface immobilization of stem cell antigen-1(Sca-1)antibody on an electrospun poly(ε-caprolactone)graft(PCL-Sca-1 Ab).PCL-Sca-1 Ab promoted capture and retainment of Sca-1+SPCs in vitro.In rat abdominal aorta replacement models,PCL-Sca-1 Ab stimulated in vivo recruitment of Sca-1+SPCs,and drove SPCs differentiation towards vascular cell lineages.The origin of infiltrated Sca-1+SPCs was further investigated using a bone marrow transplantation mouse model,which revealed that Sca-1+SPCs originating from the resident tissues and bone marrow contributed to rapid vascular regeneration of vascular grafts.Our data indicated that PCL-Sca-1 Ab vascular grafts may serve as a useful strategy to develop next generation cell-free vascular grafts. | He Wang Mengmeng Xing Weiliang Deng Meng Qian Fei Wang Kai Wang Adam C.Midgley Qiang Zhao | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,10: | 1 |
| 5 | Magnetism variation of the compressed antiferromagnetic topological insulator EuSn_(2)As_(2)显示文摘We report a comprehensive high-pressure study,up to 21.1 GPa,on the antiferromagnetic topological insulator EuSn_(2)As_(2) achieved through synchrotron X-ray diffraction,Raman scattering,electrical resistance,magnetic resistance,and Hall transport measurements in combination with first-principles calculations.The Néel temperatures determined from resistance are increased from(24±1)to(77±8)K under pressure,which is a result of enhanced magnetic exchange couplings between Eu^(2+) ions yielded by our first-principles calculations.The negative magnetoresistance of EuSn_(2)As_(2) persists to higher temperatures accordingly.However,the enhancement of the observed Néel temperatures deviates from the calculations above 10.0 GPa.In addition,the magnitude of the magnetoresistance,Hall coefficients,and charge carrier densities show abrupt changes between 6.9 and 10.0 GPa.The abrupt changes likely originate from a pressure-induced valence change of Eu ions from a divalent state to a divalent and trivalent mixed state or are related to the structural transition revealed by Raman scattering measurements.Our results provide insight into magnetism variation in EuSn_(2)As_(2) and similar antiferromagnetic topological insulators under pressure. | Hualei Sun Cuiqun Chen Yusheng Hou Weiliang Wang Yu Gong Mengwu Huo Lisi Li Jia Yu Wanping Cai Naitian Liu Ruqian Wu Dao-Xin Yao Meng Wang | 2021 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,11: | 0 |
| 6 | Statistical learning based facial animation显示文摘To synthesize real-time and realistic facial animation, we present an effective algorithm which combines image- and geometry-based methods for facial animation simulation. Considering the numerous motion units in the expression coding system, we present a novel simplified motion unit based on the basic facial expression, and construct the corresponding basic action for a head model. As image features are difficult to obtain using the performance driven method, we develop an automatic image feature recognition method based on statistical learning, and an expression image semi-automatic labeling method with rotation invariant face detection, which can improve the accuracy and efficiency of expression feature identification and training. After facial animation redirection, each basic action weight needs to be computed and mapped automatically. We apply the blend shape method to construct and train the corresponding expression database according to each basic action, and adopt the least squares method to compute the corresponding control parameters for facial animation. Moreover, there is a pre-integration of diffuse light distribution and specular light distribution based on the physical method, to improve the plausibility and efficiency of facial rendering. Our work provides a simplification of the facial motion unit, an optimization of the statistical training process and recognition process for facial animation, solves the expression parameters, and simulates the subsurface scattering effect in real time. | 7 | Analyzing surface sampling patterns using the localized pair correlation function显示文摘Point distributions with different characteristics have a crucial influence on graphics applications. Various analysis tools have been developed in recent years, mainly for blue noise sampling in Euclidean domains. In this paper, we present a new method to analyze the properties of general sampling patterns that are distributed on mesh surfaces. The core idea is to generalize to surfaces the pair correlation function(PCF) which has successfully been employed in sampling pattern analysis and synthesis in 2D and 3D. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can reveal correlations of point sets generated by a wide range of sampling algorithms.
