Identification of coastal wetlands of international importance for waterbirds:a review of China Coastal Waterbird Surveys 2005–2013显示文摘Background:China's coastal wetlands belong to some of the most threatened ecosystems worldwide. The loss and degradation of these wetlands seriously threaten waterbirds that depend on wetlands. Methods:The China Coastal Waterbird Census was organized by volunteer birdwatchers in China's coastal region.Waterbirds were surveyed synchronously once every month at 14 sites,as well as irregularly at a further 18 sites, between September 2005 and December 2013.Results:A total of 75 species of waterbirds met the 1 % population level Ramsar listing criterion at least once at one site. The number of birds of the following species accounted for over 20 % of the total flyway populations at a single site:Mute Swan(Cygnus olor),Siberia Crane(Grus leucogeranus),Far Eastern Oystercatcher(Haematopus osculans),Bar-tailed Godwit(Limosa lapponica),Spotted Greenshank(Tringa guttifer),Great Knot(Calidris tenuirostris),Spoon-billed Sandpiper(Calidris pygmeus),Saunders' s Gull(Larus saundersi),Relict Gull(Larus relictus),Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo),Eurasian Spoonbill(Platalea leucorodia),Black-faced Spoonbill(Platalea minor) and Dalmatian Pelican(Pelecanus crispus).A total of 26 sites supported at least one species of which their number met the1 % criterion.Forty-two species met the 1 % criterion in the Yellow River Delta,Shandong;29 at the Cangzhou coast,Hebei and 26 species at the Lianyungang coast,Jiangsu. Conclusions:The results highlight the international importance of China's coastal wetlands for waterbirds. This study also demonstrates that participation of local birdwatchers in waterbird surveys results in data that are invaluable not only for understanding the current status of waterbirds in China's coastal regions but also for waterbird conservation and management.Qingquan Bai Jianzhong Chen Zhihong Chen Guotai Dong Jiangtian Dong Wenxiao Dong Vivian Wing Kan Fu Yongxiang Han Gang Lu Jing Li Yang Liu Zhi Lin Derong Meng Jonathan Martinez Guanghui Ni Kai Shan Renjie Sun Suixing Tian Fengqin Wang Zhiwei Xu Yat-tung Yu Jin Yang Zhidong Yang Lin Zhang Ming Zhang Xiangwu Zeng 2015Chinese Birds2015,,3:20
Individual idea about the micro-invasive aspiration and drainage of intracranial hematoma显示文摘AIM: This study aimed to expound the individual idea of micro-invasive surgery from pre-operative preparation, intra-operative processing and post-operative management. METHODS: Pre-operative preparation was improved by analyzing pathological factors and hematoma property, and considering patients' age, basic disease, blood pressure control, with persistent haemorrhagia/rehaemorrhagia or not, operative occasion choice, positioning and other procedures. In the surgery, positioner was used. Initial aspiration volume was cautiously controlled. After operation, vital signs of patients were kept stable by cautiously using hematoma liquefacient and combining with free radical scavenger. RESULTS: The core content of individual micro-invasive surgery was mainly to relieve intracranial pressure. Under the condition of sufficient pre-operative preparation known by patients' family members, precise positioning was determined and individual therapeutic regimen was made. Meanwhile, caution should be taken in hematoma aspiration. Liquefaction and drainage should be paid more attention, and complications were processed actively. CONCLUSION: During the process of micro-invasive evacuation of intracranial hematoma for treating cerebral hemorrhage, attention should be paid to analyzing cerebral hematoma etiology and pathophysiological mechanism, and individual idea should be considered in surgical treatment aiming at patients' concrete disease condition.Zhouping Tang Feng Xu Xingyong Chen Xiangwu Meng Wei Hu Suiqiang Zhu Wei Wang 2007Neural Regeneration Research2007,2,12:12
Hematoma enlargement-related factors in hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage显示文摘BACKGROUND:Continuous hemorrhage or hematoma enlargement often occurs following cerebral hemorrhage attacks. OBJECTIVE: To retrospectively analyze the influential factors for hematoma enlargement in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage prior to minimally invasive surgery. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A comparative analysis of 90 patients with cerebral hemorrhage undergoing minimally invasive surgery at the Department of Neurology, Tongji Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology between April 2005 and February 2007. PARTICIPANTS: Fifty-eight males and thirty-one females aged (52.7 ± 5.23) years (range, 28-73 years). METHODS: Cranial CT was performed twice to objectively identify hematoma enlargement. Patients with hematoma enlargement prior to surgery were selected as the observation group (n = 30), and those with no obvious hematoma changes served as the control group (n = 60). Following cranial CT localization, the two groups underwent minimally invasive hematoma aspiration and drainage, according to Standardized Treatment Guidelines for Micro-invasive Aspiration and Drainage of Intracranial Hematoma. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Hemorrhage site, coagulation function, diabetes history, and clinical symptoms. RESULTS: There were no significant differences in hemorrhage sites between the two groups (χ2 = 2.262, P > 0.05). The percent of intemperance patients in the observation group was significantly larger than the control group (χ2 = 6.923, P < 0.01). No significant differences in terms of percent of coagulation dysfunction or diabetes were determined between the two groups (χ2 = 0.03, 0.08, P > 0.05). The percent of patients with clinical deterioration was significantly higher in the observation group, compared to the control group (χ2 = 25.57, P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: Intemperance and preoperative clinical deterioration may increase incidence of hematoma enlargement prior to minimally invasive surgery in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Dengji Pan Zhouping Tang Feng Xu Di Chen Xingyong Chen Xiangwu Meng Suiqiang Zhu Wei Wang 2008Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,8:4

Gossip-Based Resource Location Strategy in Interest Community for P2P Networks显示文摘Resource location strategy has become very popular for mass data distribution in complex and dynamic network. Searching for the objects is a fundamental problem to unstructured Peer to peer(P2P) networks. In this paper, we propose a resource location strategy for user requirements, which employs the collaborative exchange of information between peers to construct interest communities. This strategy can gather similar peers and disseminate useful information among them. Furthermore, we design an algorithm in unstructured P2 P systems named Appropriate degree gossip search algorithm(ADGSA). Using this search algorithm, the performance including search success ratio, recall rate and search response time has been improved dramatically. An efficient resource location system with a fast organization of users cluster based on their requirements can be provided, preventing the creation of unliked communities. The simulation results show that our strategy has better search efficiency, short response time and high recall ratio.HE Ming ZHANG Yujie MENG Xiangwu 2015Chinese Journal of Electronics2015,24,2:2
An Adaptive User Preferences Elicitation Scheme for Location Recommendation显示文摘User preferences elicitation is a key issue of location recommendation. This paper proposes an adaptive user preferences elicitation scheme based on Collaborative filtering(CF) algorithm for location recommendation. In this scheme, user preferences are divided into user static preferences and user dynamic preferences. The former is estimated based on location category information and historical ratings. Meanwhile, the latter is evaluated based on geographical information and two-dimensional cloud model. The advantage of this method is that it not only considers the diversity of user preferences, but also can alleviate the data sparsity problem. In order to predict user preferences of new locations more precisely, the scheme integrates the similarity of user static preferences, user dynamic preferences and social ties into CF algorithm. Furthermore, the scheme is parallelized on the Hadoop platform for significant improvement in efficiency. Experimental results on Yelp dataset demonstrate the performance gains of the scheme.WANG Fan 2016Chinese Journal of Electronics2016,25,5:1
Electrocardiogram changes during hematoma enlargement in intracerebral hemorrhage patients显示文摘BACKGROUND:It has been reported that cerebrovascular disease causes changes in electrocardiogram results.OBJECTIVE:To investigate changes in electrocardiogram results in patients with intracerebral hematoma enlargement.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The present case-retrospective analysis study was performed at the Department of Neurology,Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College,Huazhong University of Science and Technology from January 2005 to October 2006.PARTICIPANTS:A total of 225 intracerebral hemorrhage patients(142 males and 83 females) that were hospitalized at the Department of Neurology were enrolled the present study. The patient selection was in accordance with diagnostic criteria from the Fourth National Cerebrovascular Disease Congress of China in 1995,and diagnosis was confirmed using computed tomography. All patients underwent computed tomography twice within 24 hours following intracerebral hemorrhage, and were subjected to electrocardiogram examination after admission.METHODS:According to hematoma enlargement following intracerebral hemorrhage, all patients were divided into hematoma enlargement(n = 20) and non-hematoma enlargement(n = 205) groups.Because of the large patient number difference between the two groups, the hematoma enlargement group was matched with the non-hematoma enlargement group.Patients meeting these conditions were included in the non-hematoma enlargement group.Finally,75 patients were included in the final analysis,19 in the hematoma enlargement group and 56 in the non-hematoma enlargement group.Clinical data from the two groups were statistically analyzed.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The incidence of electrocardiographic abnormalities between the hematoma enlargement and non-hematoma enlargement groups.RESULTS:In the hematoma enlargement group,15 patients(79%) developed electrocardiographic abnormalities. In the non-hematoma enlargement group,24 patients(43%) presented with electrocardiographic abnormalities. There were significant differences in electrocardiographic abnormalities between the groups(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:Patients with electrocardiographic abnormalities suffered from hematoma enlargement following admission.Zhouping Tang Di Chen Xingyong Chen Xiangwu Meng Xuewei Xie Xiang Luo Suming Zhang 2008Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,9:0

Optimizing Bloom Filter Settings for Multi-keyword Search in Kademlia-like DHT Peer-to-Peer Networks显示文摘This paper has proposed a novel method to reduce the multi-keyword query traffic in Kademlia-like Peer-to-peer(P2P) networks by optimizing the Bloom filter settings. We build some models to estimate the communication cost, the union set size, and the loss rate of performing union and intersection operations. We implement a Kademlia-like system and generate a group of datasets. We use one part of the datasets to obtain the functions how to compute the optimal parameters and use another part of datasets to verify our method. Each query can determine the optimal settings of Bloom filter with no extra configuration. Our simulation experimental results show that with optimal Bloom filters settings, we can greatly reduce the communication cost under an acceptable loss rate.MA Wenming ZHANG Yujie MENG Xiangwu 2014Chinese Journal of Electronics2014,23,2:0
Historical Evolution of Vernacular Settlement in Tianshui City显示文摘Vernacular settlement is a sum of settlements that keep traditional landscapes in the process of urbanization, and its coverage coincides with that of urban community and rural settlement to some extent. It is a phenomenon of social development against the background of rapid urbanization. As a national famous historic and cultural city, Tianshui City should have had excellent traditional cultural genes as the driving force for its development, however, only fragments of some historic blocks have been left in the recent urbanization. This paper, on the basis of investigating the old urban district of Tianshui City, analyzing the historical phenomenon, summarized the root causes for the status quo of vernacular dwellings in the city, so as to raise the concerns on humanistic thought, and provide proper guidance for the sustainable development of vernacular settlement.MENG Xiangwu YE Minghui ZHOU Qi LUO Jing 2016Journal of Landscape Research2016,8,2:0
