1Notoginsenoside Ft1 acts as a TGR5 agonist but FXR antagonist to alleviate high fat diet-induced obesity and insulin resistance in mice显示文摘Obesity and its associated complications are highly related to a current public health crisis around the world.A growing body of evidence has indicated that G-protein coupled bile acid(BA) receptor TGR5(also known as Gpbar-1) is a potential drug target to treat obesity and associated metabolic disorders.We have identified notoginsenoside Ftl(Ftl) from Panax notoginseng as an agonist of TGR5 in vitro.However,the pharmacological effects of Ftl on diet-induced obese(DIO) mice and the underlying mechanisms are still elusive.Here we show that Ftl(100 mg/100 diet) increased adipose lipolysis,promoted fat browning in inguinal adipose tissue and induced glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) secretion in the ileum of wild type but not Tgr5^(-/-) obese mice.In addition,Ftl elevated serum free and taurineconjugated bile acids(BAs) by antagonizing Fxr transcriptional activities in the ileum to activate Tgr5 in the adipose tissues.The metabolic benefits of Ftl were abolished in Cyp27 al^(-/-) mice which have much lower BA levels.These results identify Ftl as a single compound with opposite activities on two key BA receptors to alleviate high fat diet-induced obesity and insulin resistance in mice.Lili Ding Qiaoling Yang Eryun Zhang Yangmeng Wang Siming Sun Yingbo Yang Tong Tian Zhengcai Ju Linshan Jiang Xunjiang Wang Zhengtao Wang Wendong Huang Li Yang 2021Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,6:10

3Investigation of Coal Fueled Chemical Looping Combustion Using Fe_3O_4 as Oxygen Carrier:Influence of Variables显示文摘Chemical-looping combustion (CLC) is a novel combustion technique with inherent CO2 separation.Magnetite (Fe3O4) was selected as the oxygen carrier.Shenhua coal (Inner Mongolia,China),straw coke and natural coke were used as fuels for this study.Influences of operation temperatures,coal to Fe3O4 mass ratios,and different kinds of fuels on the reduction characteristics of the oxygen carrier were investigated using an atmosphere thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA).Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to analyse the characteristic of the solid residues.Experimental results shown that the reaction between the coal and the oxygen carrier become strong at a temperature of higher than 800℃.As the operation temperature rises,the reduction conversion rate increases.At the temperatures of 850oС,900℃,and 950℃,the reduction conversion rates were 37.1%,46.5%,and 54.1% respectively.However,SEM images show that at the temperature of higher than 950℃,the iron oxides become melted and sintered.The possible operation temperature should be kept around 900℃.When the mass ratios of coal to Fe3O4 were 5/95,10/90,15/85,and 20/80,the reduction conversion rates were 29.5%,40.8%,46.5%,and 46.6% respectively.With the increase of coal,the conversion rate goes up.But there exist an optimal ratio around 15/85.Comparisons based on different kinds of fuels show that the solid fuel with a higher volatile and a more developed pore structure is conducive to the reduction reactivity of the oxygen carrier.Xiaoyan Sun Wenguo Xiang Sha Wang Wendong Tian Xiang Xu Yanji Xu Yunhan Xiao 2010Journal of Thermal Science2010,19,3:3
4Energy and Exergy Analysis of a Novel Efficient Combined Process by Hydrothermal Degradation and Superheated Steam Drying of Degradable Organic Wastes显示文摘This paper considers the combination of hydrothermal degradation(HTD)and superheated steam(SHS)drying indisposal and processing of degradable organic wastes in municipal solid wastes(MSW).In SHS drying, a fractionof dryer thermal energy input can be recovered and used to satisfy the heat requirement in maintaining the HTDoperating temperature.Both energy and exergy analysis are applied to the combined process.The analysis coversranges of dryer inlet temperatures of 202.38-234.19℃ and feed water content of 32.5-65%.Thermal energyanalysis shows that the combination of HTD and SHS drying can achieve thermal energy self-sufficiency(TES)by manipulating process variables.The exergy analysis indicates the location,type,and magnitude of the exergylosses during the whole process by applying the second law of thermodynamics.Shuqing GUO Yunhan XIAO Wendong TIAN Zhedian ZHANG 2006Journal of Thermal Science2006,15,3:2
52-14 Investigation of the Thermonuclear 18Ne(α, p)21Na Reaction Rate via Resonant Elastic Scattering of 21Na + p显示文摘A nuclear astrophysics experiment was performed at CRIB (CNS low-energy Radioactive-Ion Beam separator)on Mar. 2011. The goal of this experiment is to study the reaction rate of 18Ne(,p)21Na reaction, which mightbe a key breakout reaction from the hot CNO cycle to rp-process in X-ray burst and nova. Yet its reaction rate ispoorly known.Explosive hydrogen burning is thought to be the main source of energy generation and a source of nucleosynthesisin X-ray burst and nova[1;2]. For example, XRBs are characterized by a sudden increase of X-ray emission withinonly a few seconds to a total energy output of about 1040 ergs, which is observed to repeat with some regularity.The recurrence time for single bursts can range from hours to days at the typical temperature of 0.4~2 GK. Thebursts have been interpreted as being generated by thermonuclear runaway on the surface of a neutron star thataccretes H- and He-rich material from a less evolved companion star in a close binary system. 8Highly efficient ultraviolet high-harmonic generation from epsilon-near-zero indium tin oxide films显示文摘High-harmonic generation in the ultraviolet region is promising for wireless technology used for communications and sensing. However, small high-order nonlinear coefficients prevent us from obtaining high conversion efficiency and functional photonic devices. Here, we show highly efficient ultraviolet harmonic generation extending to the fifth order directly from an epsilon-near-zero indium tin oxide(ITO) film. The real part of the annealed ITO films was designed to reach zero around 1050 nm, matching with the central wavelength of an Yb-based fiber laser, and the internal driving electric field was extremely enhanced. A high energy conversion efficiency of 10-4 and 10-6 for 257.5 nm(fourth-order) and 206 nm(fifth-order) ultraviolet harmonic generation was obtained,which is at least 2 orders of magnitude higher than early reports. 14A Semi-Supervised Topic Model Incorporating Sentiment and Dynamic Characteristic显示文摘With the rapid popularization of social applications, various kinds of social media have developed into an important platform for publishing information and expressing opinion. Detecting hidden topics from the huge amount of user-generated contents is of great commerce value and social significance. However traditional text analysis approachesonly focus on the statistical correlation between words, but ignore the sentiment tendency and the temporal properties which may have great effects on topic detection results.
