1Changes in Vegetation and Assessment of Meteorological Conditions in Ecologically Fragile Karst Areas显示文摘Meteorological conditions have an important impact on changes of vegetation in ecologically fragile karst areas.This study aims to explore a method for quantitative evaluation of these meteorological conditions. We analyzed the changing trend of vegetation during 2000–2018 and the correlations between vegetation changes and various meteorological factors in karst rocky areas of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Key meteorological factors in vegetation areas with varying degrees of improvement were selected and evaluated at seasonal timescale. A quantitative evaluation model of comprehensive influences of meteorological factors on vegetation was built by using the partial least-square regression(PLS). About 91.45% of the vegetation tended to be improved, while only the rest 8.55% showed a trend of degradation from 2000 to 2018. Areas with evident vegetation improvement were mainly distributed in the middle and northeast, and those with obvious vegetation degradation were scattered. Meteorological factors affecting vegetation were significantly different among the four seasons. Overall, high air humidity, small temperature difference in spring and autumn, and low daily minimum temperature and air pressure were favorable conditions. Low temperature in winter as well as high temperature in summer and autumn were unfavorable conditions. The Climate Vegetation Index(CVI) model was established by PLS using the maximum, minimum, and average temperatures;vapor pressure;rainfall;and air pressure as key meteorological factors. The Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI) was well fitted by the CVI model, with the average coefficient of determination(r2) and root mean square error(RMSE) of 0.856 and 0.042, respectively. Finally, an assessment model of comprehensive meteorological conditions was built based on the interannual differences in CVI. 2Over 50,000 Metagenomically Assembled Draft Genomes for the Human Oral Microbiome Reveal New Taxa显示文摘The oral cavity of each person is home to hundreds of bacterial species.While taxa for oral diseases have been studied using culture-based characterization as well as amplicon sequencing,metagenomic and genomic information remains scarce compared to the fecal microbiome.Here,using metagenomic shotgun data for 3346 oral metagenomic samples together with 808 published samples,we obtain 56,213 metagenome-assembled genomes(MAGs),and more than 64%of the 3589 species-level genome bins(SGBs)contain no publicly available genomes.The resulting genome collection is representative of samples around the world and contains many genomes from candidate phyla radiation(CPR)that lack monoculture.Also,it enables the discovery of new taxa such as a genus Candidatus Bgiplasma within the family Acholeplasmataceae.Large-scale metagenomic data from massive samples also allow the assembly of strains from important oral taxa such as Porphyromonas and Neisseria.The oral microbes encode genes that could potentially metabolize drugs.Apart from these findings,a strongly male-enriched Campylobacter species was identified.Oral samples would be more user-friendly collected than fecal samples and have the potential for disease diagnosis.Thus,these data lay down a genomic framework for future inquiries of the human oral microbiome.Jie Zhu Liu Tian Peishan Chen Mo Han Liju Song Xin Tong Xiaohuan Sun Fangming Yang Zhipeng Lin Xing Liu Chuan Liu Xiaohan Wang Yuxiang Lin Kaiye Cai Yong Hou Xun Xu Huanming Yang Jian Wang Karsten Kristiansen Liang Xiao Tao Zhang Huijue Jia Zhuye Jie 2022Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,2:1

5Boosting interfacial S-scheme charge transfer and photocatalytic H_(2)-production activity of 1D/2D WO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4)heterojunction by molecular benzene-rings integration显示文摘A novel benzene-ring engineered 1D/2D WO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4)S-scheme photocatalyst(BCNW)was rationally de-signed and successfully synthesized by the electrostatic self-assembly method.Experimental and Density Functional Theory results reveal that the integration of molecular benzene-ring in the framework of g-C_(3)N_(4)can not only narrow its bandgap and accelerate charge separation by forming a mid-state at the top of its valence band but more importantly open up a new additional bridge for speeding up the interfacial S-scheme charge transfer in BCNW.Benefitting from those multiple positive effects of benzene-ring inte-gration,as expected,BCNW S-scheme photocatalysts show superior photocatalytic H_(2)-production activity and reach 2971μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)under visible-light illumination,which is 3.35 times WO_(3)/g-C_(3)N_(4)S-scheme photocatalyst without benzene-ring integration.This work supplies an innovative strategy for the design of a high-efficiency S-scheme photocatalytic system by constructing a facile and additional molecular charge transfer channel at the interface.Xiaojie Mo Xiaohan Zhang Biyun Lin Chuangyu Ning Ming Li Hua Liao Zhihong Chen Xin Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,14:0
