| 1 | Biogeographic distribution patterns of algal community in different urban lakes in China: Insights into the dynamics and co-existence显示文摘Urban lake ecosystems are significant for social development,but currently we know little about the geographical distribution of algal community in urban lakes at a large-scale.In this study,we investigated the algal community structure in different areas of urban lakes in China and evaluated the influence of water quality parameters and geographical location on the algal community.The results showed that obvious differences in water quality and algal communities were observed among urban lakes in different geographical areas.Chlorophyta was the dominant phylum,followed by cyanobacteria in all areas.The network analysis indicated that algal community composition in urban lakes of the western and southern area showed more variations than the eastern and northern areas,respectively.Redundancy analysis and structural equation model revealed that nutrients and p H were dominant environmental factors that affected the algal community,and they showed higher influence than that of iron,manganese and COD Mn concentration.Importantly,algal community and density exhibited longitude and latitude relationship.In general,these results provided an ecological insight into large-scale geographical distributions of algal community in urban lakes,thereby having potential applications for management of the lakes. | Haihan Zhang Rongrong Zong Huiyan He Kaiwen Liu Miaomiao Yan Yutian Miao Ben Ma Xin Huang | 2021 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,2: | 9 |
| 2 | Precipitation behavior and properties of extruded 7136 aluminum alloy under different aging treatments显示文摘In this work, the mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of the extruded 7136 aluminum alloy treated by single-stage aging treatment(T6), retrogression and re-aging treatment(RRA), and multiple retrogression and re-aging treatment have been investigated by means of hardness measurements, electrical conductivity tests and tensile tests. The results have shown that the properties of the 7136 alloy such as hardness, tensile strength and electrical conductivity were sensitive to retrogression time(within 90 min). With prolonging the retrogression time, the tensile strength was enhanced first and then decreased, yet the electrical conductivity was continuously increased. The 60 min-treated alloy performed the highest tensile strength(716 MPa), whereas the 90 min-treated alloy possessed the highest electrical conductivity(33.95%IACS). Compared with the T6-treated alloy, the tensile strength and electrical conductivity were improved by 3.3%and 18.9%, respectively. The electrical conductivity showed an obvious increase with repetitious times of the RRA treatment. After 3 RRA60 treatment, a good combination of tensile strength(705 MPa) and electrical conductivity(33.20%IACS) can be obtained. Compared with the T6 condition, the tensile strength and electrical conductivity were improved by 1.7% and 16.3%, respectively. | 3 | Cow, yak, and camel milk diets differentially modulated the systemic immunity and fecal microbiota of rats显示文摘Cow milk is most widely consumed; however,non-cattle milk has gained increasing interest because of added nutritive values. We compared the health effects of yak,cow,and camel milk in rats. By measuring several plasma immune factors,significantly more interferon-c was detected in the camel than the yak(P = 0.0020) or cow(P = 0.0062) milk group. Significantly more Ig M was detected in the yak milk than the control group(P = 0.0071). The control group had significantly less interleukin 6 than the yak(P = 0.0499)and cow(P = 0.0248) milk groups. The fecal microbiota of the 144 samples comprised mainly of the Firmicutes(76.70 ± 11.03%),Bacteroidetes(15.27 ± 7.79%),Proteobacteria(3.61 ± 4.34%),and Tenericutes(2.61 ± 2.53%) phyla. Multivariate analyses revealed a mild shift in the fecal microbiota along the milk treatment. We further identified the differential microbes across the four groups. At day 14,22 and 28 differential genera and species were identified(P = 0.0000–0.0462),while 8 and 11 differential genera and species(P = 0.0000–0.0013) were found at day 28. Some short-chain fatty acid and succinate producers increased,while certain health-concerned bacteria(Prevotella copri,Phascolarctobacterium faecium,and Bacteroides uniformis) decreased after 14 days of yak or camel milk treatment. | 5 | Nonfatal Child Pedestrian Injury in Two Urban Cities of Guangdong Province,China:Results from a Cross-sectional Survey显示文摘Objective To describe the epidemiological characteristics of nonfatal child pedestrian injuries and provide information to help understand an important public-health problem.Methods This was a school-based,cross-sectional questionnaire survey.The sample (42 750 children) was obtained from two urban cities of Guangdong Province,China,using multi-stage randomized sampling.Information was collected by the respondents self-reporting in the classroom.Results The incidence rate of nonfatal child pedestrian injuries in the cities was 2.0%.Boys had a higher incidence rate (2.6%) than girls (1.4%).Compared to other children,those aged 10 years are at the highest risk.The primary places of occurrence were sidewalks,residential roads,and crosswalks.High-risk behavior of the children immediately prior to injury included mid-block crossings,playing on roads,and crossing on red lights.The major vehicles that caused pedestrian injuries were bicycles,car or vans,and motorcycles.Bruises,fractures,and injuries to the internal organs were the top three types of injuries.Almost 40% of victims were hospitalized,and nearly 30% of the victims suffered long-term disabilities.Conclusion This study shows that nonfatal child pedestrian injuries are a very serious public-health problem in the urban cities of Guangdong.Based on the epidemiological characteristics,prevention strategies and further research should be carried out to reduce the occurrence of injuries. | MA WenJun NIE ShaoPing XU HaoFeng XU YanJun XIE HuiYan ZHANG YuRun | 2011 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4: | 4 |
| 6 | Relationship between NO_2 Concentration and Meteorological Factors in the Urban Area of Wanzhou District显示文摘Firstly,the daily variations of NO2 concentration in the urban area of Wanzhou in 2012 were analyzed,and then the relationship between NO2 concentration and meteorological factors( precipitation,atmospheric pressure,wind speed,temperature,relative humidity and sunshine hours) was discussed. Finally,the multiple linear regression equation was established to predict NO2 concentration. The results showed that NO2 concentration in the urban area of Wanzhou did not exceed 80 μg /m3in most days from January 1 to December 31 in 2012. Among the six meteorological factors,NO2 concentration correlated significantly with three meteorological factors,that is,NO2 concentration correlated negatively with atmospheric pressure and wind speed but positively with relative humidity. NO2 concentration in the urban area of Wanzhou could be predicted using the multiple linear regression model. | 16 | Alloying engineering for thermoelectric performance enhancement in p-type skutterudites with synergistic carrier concentration optimization and thermal conductivity reduction显示文摘The enhancements in thermoelectric(TE)performances of p-type skutterudites are usually limited due to the relatively low Seebeck coefficients owing to the higher carrier concentration and more impurity phases induced by inherent structural instability of a Fe-based skutterudite.As shown in this study,alloying engineering of Ni doping at Fe sites in a p-type CeFe_(3.8)Co_(0.2)Sb_(12)skutterudite can not only reduce the impurity phases with high thermal conductivity but also regulate the carrier concentration,and thus significantly increase the Seebeck coefficient.The thermal conductivity was largely suppressed due to the enhanced point defect phonon scattering and decreased hole concentration.As a result,a TE figure of merit ZT of the CeFe_(3.5)Ni_(0.3)Co_(0.2)Sb_(12)sample reached 0.8,which is approximately 50%higher than that of a Ni-free sample.Appropriate Ni doping can maintain a high ZT at a high temperature by controlling the reduction in a band gap.Therefore,a high average ZT close to 0.8 at 650–800 K for CeFe_(3.5)Ni_(0.3)Co_(0.2)Sb_(12)was obtained,which was comparable to or even higher than those of the reported Ce-filled Fe-based skutterudites due to the synergistic optimization of electrical and thermal performances.This study provides a strategy to synergistically optimize electrical–thermal performances of the p-type skutterudites by alloying engineering. | Zhiyuan Liu Yonggui Wang Ting Yang Zuju Ma Huiyan Zhang Hailing Li Ailin Xia | 2023 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,3: | 0 |

| 18 | Estimation of the actual disease burden of human H7N9 infection in Jiangsu of eastern China from March 2013 to September 2017显示文摘The actual incidence of human H7N9 infection is supposed to be much higher than the documented laboratoryconfirmed cases.In this study,we estimated the number of the actual H7N9 cases in Jiangsu,China using a probabilistic multiplier model.Then,disability adjusted life years(DALYs),direct and indirect economic loss caused by this disease were calculated and analyzed.Till September 2017,the estimated total number of H7N9 cases was 2952[median,90%probability range(PR):1487-22094],which was 11.8 times(5.9-88.4)as large as the reported number.The median morbidity was estimated to be 4(90%PR:2-29)per 100000 population.The total DALYs loss was 16548 years,and the total economic loss(direct and indirect)was estimated to be RMB 1044618758(US$16.7 M).The average economic loss for per case and for per year was RMB 353868(US$56440)and RMB 232137502(US$37.0 M),respectively.The actual burden of human H7N9 infections was much heavier than what was documented.Our study provided an approach to estimate actual burden of infectious diseases using laboratory-confirmation. | Haodi Huang Wang Ma Ke Xu Keith Dear Huiyan Yu Xian Qi Changjun Bao Minghao Zhou Xiang Huo | 2019 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2019,33,5: | 0 |
