1An elastic-plastic contact model for line contact structures显示文摘Although numerical simulation tools are now very powerful,the development of analytical models is very important for the prediction of the mechanical behaviour of line contact structures for deeply understanding contact problems and engineering applications.For the line contact structures widely used in the engineering field,few analytical models are available for predicting the mechanical behaviour when the structures deform plastically,as the classic Hertz’s theory would be invalid.Thus,the present study proposed an elastic-plastic model for line contact structures based on the understanding of the yield mechanism.A mathematical expression describing the global relationship between load history and contact width evolution of line contact structures was obtained.The proposed model was verified through an actual line contact test and a corresponding numerical simulation.The results confirmed that this model can be used to accurately predict the elastic-plastic mechanical behaviour of a line contact structure.Haibin Zhu Yingtao Zhao Zhifeng He Ruinan Zhang Shaopeng Ma 2018Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,5:8

3Influence of Cr^(3+) Concentration on SO_2 Removal over TiO_2 Based Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes显示文摘In this study, titanium dioxide supported by multi-walled carbon nano tubes(MWCNTs/TiO_2) and Cr-doped TiO_2 supported by MWCNTs(MWNTs/Cr-TiO_2) were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The prepared samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, the BrunauerEmmett-Teller analysis, and the Raman spectroscopy. The oxidation and efficiency for removal of SO_2 in a simulated flue gas were investigated experimentally in a fixed-bed reactor. The 15% MWCNTs/Cr-Ti02 sample displayed excellent adsorption properties, and a SO_2 removal rate equating to 30.415 1 mg/g from the simulated flue gas containing 2 300 μg/g of SO_2, 8% of 02, and 5% of H20 was achieved under optimal conditions covering a temperature of 333.15 K, and a space velocity of 1 275 h^(-1). The adsorption process was enhanced because Cr doping modified the pore structure and inhibited the grain growth of TiO_2. In addition, the Freundlich and Langmuir models revealed that SO_2 was mainly adsorbed through chemical adsorption on the sample surfaces, and the thermodynamic model analysis indicated that the adsorption was a spontaneous, exothermic, and entropy-reducing process. The adsorption kinetics of SO_2 can be described by the pseudosecond-order kinetic and the Bangham dynamics models. 42 K superfluid helium cryogenic vertical test system for superconducting cavity of ADS Injector I显示文摘Purpose The accelerator-driven subcritical system(ADS)is the internationally recognized key technology of nuclear waste problem treatment,of which superconducting proton linac is an important part.With the support of the strategic science and technology pilot project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences took the lead in the research of 325 MHz superconducting proton linac,which is called ADS Injector I.The superconducting accelerator part of ADS Injector I mainly consists of 14 spoke-type superconducting cavities withβ0.12.At the same time,the research work of various cavities with differentβvalues and different frequencies is also carried out to lay the technical and technological foundation for ADS main accelerator.The only way to determine whether the superconducting cavity can reach the design target and whether it can be installed into the cryostat is the vertical test at cryogenic.As the only way to test the microwave performance of the superconducting cavity at low temperature,the vertical test can accurately test the acceleration gradient Eacc and the corresponding quality factor Q0 of the superconducting cavity.The design and construction of the superconducting cavity vertical test facility is based on the practical needs of the pilot project and the long-term development of the superconducting accelerator.Methods This paper mainly introduces the design and construction of the cryogenic vertical test system for the superconducting cavity of ADS Injector I,including the system scheme design,process design,heat load analysis,2 K superfluid helium obtaining method,system commissioning and operation,etc.Results and Conclusion The static heat leakage at 2 K of the 2 K superfluid helium vertical test system of ADS Injector I is 1.624W,which has reached the international advanced level.The 2 K superfluid helium vertical test system of ADS Injector I after constructed not only meets the test requirements of ADS pilot project,but also conducts 4 K and 2 K vertical tests for other different types of superconducting cavities and relevant cryogenic experiments.Rui Ge Liangrui Sun Miaofu Xu Rui Ye Xiangzhen Zhang Minjing Sang Ruixiong Han Zhuo Zhang Jiehao Zhang Lin Bian Mei Li Changcheng Ma Tongxian Zhao Yongcheng Jiang Zhengze Chang Shaopeng Li 2020Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2020,4,2:2

13Status of the IHEP 1.3 GHz superconducting RF program显示文摘The 1.3 GHz superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) technology is one of the key technologies for the ILC and future XFEL and ERL projects in China. With the aim to develop 1.3 GHz SRF technology, IHEP has started a program to build an SRF Accelerating Unit. This unit contains a 9-cell 1.3 GHz superconducting cavity, a short cryomodule, a high power input coupler, a tuner and a low level RF system. This program also includes the SRF laboratory upgrade, which will permit the unit to be built and tested at IHEP. The unit will be used for the 1.3 GHz SRF system integration study, high power horizontal test and possible beam test in the future. In this paper, we report the recent R&D status of this program. The first large grain low-loss shape 9-cell superconducting RF cavity made by IHEP reached 20 MV/m in the first vertical test in July, 2010. The prototype tuner and low level RF (LLRF) system are under test. The high power input coupler and cryomodule are under fabrication. 16Experimental investigation of three-dimensional propagation process from surface fault显示文摘Experimental study of the formation and propagation of three-dimensional (3D) faults is of great sig- nificance in the understanding of the propagation process developing from initial natural faults. In the study described in this paper, experimental investigations of 3D propagation processes of a type of surface fault are carried out under biaxial compression. The strain field near the surface fault is dy- namically measured and fully analyzed with a high-density Multi-Channel Digital Strain Gauge (MCDSG) and Digital Speckle Correlation Method (DSCM) based on the white-light image analysis. Simultane- ously the micro-fracture process involved in fault formation is observed by a 3D acoustic emission (AE) location system with a set of multi-channel whole-wave record equipment. The experimental results show that the 3D propagation process of surface fault differs greatly from that of the two-dimensional (2D) state and that a new more complicated type of 3D morphological characters and deformation mechanisms are produced. The 3D propagation process of surface faults may be divided into three stages: 1) the first stage of crack propagation initiated by wing cracks; 2) the conversion stage propa- gated by petal cracks; and 3) the second stage of crack propagation formed by shell-shaped fracture surface. The primary propagation patterns of the three stages are different. The corresponding defor- mation fields and micro-fracture distributions are likewise different. The fracture activities from petal cracks especially are of vital importance during surface fault propagation. 17Thermometry strategy developed based on fluorescence contrast driven by varying excitations in codoped LiNbO3显示文摘We propose what we believe is a novel optical thermometry strategy(FIR-Ex)based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)between two radiations associated with the same emission peak but different excitation wavelengths,in contrast to the traditional approach(FIR-Em),which depends on the FIR at varying emission wavelengths.The temperature-dependent FIR within the FIR-Ex strategy arises from the different charge/energy evolution routes,rather than the distribution of thermally coupled levels within the FIR-Em strategy.Considerable diversity in thermal behaviors and luminescence mechanisms was demonstrated by analyzing the 618 nm red emission in Pr^3+-doped congruent LiNbO3(Pr:CLN)under 360 and 463 nm excitations.The temperature sensitivity was further improved via Mg^2+ codoping due to the optimization of charge dynamics and energy transfer processes.Given its wide detection scope,relatively high absolute sensitivity at low temperature,and high tunability of temperature sensitivity,the FIR-Ex strategy is promising for developing optical temperature-sensing materials with high performance.SIWEI LONG SHAOPENG LIN DECAI MA YUNZHONG ZHU HUASHAN LI BIAO WANG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,2:1
18Crystal-phase engineering of PdCu nanoalloys facilitates selective hydrodeoxygenation at room temperature显示文摘Selective hydrodeoxygenation of biomass-derived aromatic alcohols to value-added chemical or fuel is of great importance for sustainable biomass upgrading,and hydrodeoxygenation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)to 2,5-dimethylfuran(DMF)is one of the most attractive reactions.Achieving the conversion of HMF to DMF using H_(2)at ambient temperature is challenging.In this work,we used PdCu nanoalloys to catalyze the selective hydrodeoxygenation reaction of HMF to DMF using H_(2)as the reducing agent.The reaction path and the product selectivity are governed by the crystallographic phase of the PdCu nanoalloys.It was discovered that body-centered cubic(BCC)PdCu nanoalloys supported on activated carbon(AC)exhibited outstanding performance with 93.6%yield of DMF at room temperature(PdCu/AC-BCC).A combination of experimental and density functional theory(DFT)studies showed that the tilted adsorption modes of furanic intermediates on PdCu-BCC nanoalloy surfaces accounted for the high selectivity of DMF;however,furan ring was activated on PdCu face-centered cubic(FCC)nanoalloy surfaces.Furthermore,PdCu/AC-BCC could also catalyze the hydrodeoxygenation of other aromatic alcohols at room temperature while maintaining the aromatic structures.This work opens the way for selective hydrodeoxygenation of the aromatic alcohols at room temperature with the aromatic ring intact.Shaopeng Li Minghua Dong Mi Peng Qingqing Mei Yanyan Wang Junjuan Yang Youdi Yang Bingfeng Chen Shulin Liu Dequan Xiao Huizhen Liu Ding Ma Buxing Han 2022The Innovation2022,3,1:0
19R&D of BEPCII 500 MHz superconducting cavity显示文摘Beijing Electron-Positron Collider Upgrade (BEPCII) adopts two 500 MHz superconducting cavities (SCCs) in each ring for higher accelerated gradient, higher Q and lower impedance (Wang et al. The proceedings of SRF'07). There's no spare cavity due to the limited time and funding during BEPCII construction. If any serious trouble happened on either one of the two cavities and could not be recovered in a short time, the operation of BEPCII facility will be affected. Therefore, since 2009 three spare cavities have been fabricated in China to ensure reliable operation, and two of them have been successfully vertically tested in January and July 2011.
