| 1 | Role of behavioral training in reducing functional impairments after stroke显示文摘Stroke is the leading cause of long-term disability worldwide. There are two main types of stroke, hemorrhagic and ischemic.A hemorrhagic stroke is when there a bleed in the brain, whereas an ischemic stroke is the result of blockage of blood flow to the brain, which leads to degeneration, neurotoxicity, inflammation, and apoptosis. This damage not only affects the ischemic core, but also neuronal, astrocyte, and synaptic survival in the peri-infarct region and connected areas(Kerr et al.,2011;Jadavji et al.,2018).The prevalence of ischemic stroke is predicted to increase as the global population ages(Mukherjee and Patil,2011).Between 1970 and 2008 there has been a 100%increase in stroke incidence in low income countries. For example, the estimated losses in gross domestic product,as the result of vascular diseases, including stroke, have ranged from$20 million in Ethiopia to$1 billion in China and India(Mukherjee and Patil,2011). | Mahira Moftah Nafisa M.Jadavji | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,9: | 4 |

| 3 | Finding New Ways to Improve the Heal of the Physical and Mental Wounds-An Overview显示文摘The war imposed on Azerbaijan by the Armenian invaders claimed thousands of lives, but even more young guys were left crippled by the war.Today,Azerbaijan faces 2 major tasks of strategic importance:(1)To preserve the lands reclaimed from the enemy and(2)to ensure the maximum preservation of the viability of the military personnel who suffered in this war, because the prospects of the patriotism of our people, fighting spirit, and their combat effectiveness depend on the timely solution of these tasks. Many problems arise for servicemen undergoing rehabilitation after complex injuries. In general, veterans find it difficult to restore old social ties and physical activity,so they also need a positive attitude from society, because they are already the people with disabilities. At the first stage of medical intervention, the doctor is faced with the main task:saving the life and health of the soldiers,so he has little time to study in detail the psychosocial factors that can affect the final results. At the first stage of treatment, unnecessary questions to the patient may even lead to an ineffective result. However, some observations have revealed significant differences in the response to rehabilitation treatment, even in geographically close countries. Therefore,in the subsequent stages,it is important to take into account spiritual factors that will certainly affect recovery and rehabilitation. Thus,to better support the recovery and rehabilitation of people with injuries, more research is needed to organize human-centered care. Some of the organizations in our country, such as«Witness Support»and«Life Support»,study the interests of servicemen, the needs of the families of those who lost loved ones in the war,and try to solve these problems as soon as possible, helping them not only and not so much materially, but also morally. They arrange meetings of civilians with veterans, help veterans to support their families. If during this period the wounded recover from physical and mental illnesses interacting with the civilian population, they are more successful in overcoming difficult problems. To summarize all of the above,we can conclude that health and well-being depend on more factors than just medical care, and we must continue to look for the best ways to rehabilitate people with disabilities who saved our lives. | Mahira Amirova Firudin Sabrin Azim Ali Mohammad Ellada Huseynova Eldar Gulnara Dashdamirova Sabir Rena Rahimova Rufat | 2021 | Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology2021,9,9: | 0 |
| 4 | Dual pH and microbial-sensitive galactosylated polymeric nanocargoes for multi-level targeting to combat ulcerative colitis显示文摘Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a type of inflammatory bowel disease characterized by inflammation, ulcers and irritation of the mucosal lining.Oral drug delivery in UC encounters challenges because of multifaceted barriers.Dexamethasone-loaded galactosylated-PLGA/Eudragit S100/pullulan nanocargoes(Dexa-GP/ES/Pu NCs)have been developed with a dual stimuli-sensitive coating responsive to both colonic pH and microbiota, and an underneath galactosylated-PLGA core(GP).The galactose ligand of the GP preferentially binds to the macrophage galactose type-lectin-C(MGL-2)surface receptor. Therefore, both stimuli and ligand-mediated targeting facilitate nanocargoes to deliver Dexa specifically to the colon with enhanced macrophage uptake.Modified emulsion method coupled with a solvent evaporation coating technique was employed to prepare Dexa-GP/ES/Pu NCs.The nanocargoes were tested using in vitro,ex vivo techniques and dextran sodium sulfate(DSS)induced UC model.Prepared nanocargoes had desired physicochemical properties, drug release, cell uptake and cellular viability.Investigations using a DSS-colitis model showed high localization and mitigation of colitis with downregulation of NF-ĸB and COX-2,and restoration of clinical, histopathological, biochemical indices, antioxidant balance, microbial alterations,FTIR spectra, and epithelial junctions’integrity.Thus,Dexa-GP/ES/Pu NCs found to be biocompatible nanocargoes capable of delivering drugs to the inflamed colon with unique targeting properties for prolonged duration. | Mahira Zeeshan Qurat Ul Ain Benno Weigmann Darren Story Bryan R.Smith Hussain Ali | 2023 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2023,18,4: | 0 |
| 5 | Burnout amongst radiologists:A bibliometric study from 1993 to 2020显示文摘BACKGROUND Burnout amongst radiologists is common in many different institutions and is increasing day by day.To battle burnout,we have to address the root causes already recognized in published literature. Therefore,it is crucial to examine and discern important publications.AIM To provide evidence-based data and trends related to burnout in radiologists so that researchers can work on it further and develop preventive strategies to overcome this problem.METHODS Bibliometric analysis conducted by two independent reviewers separately used Scopus Library for data extraction by using medical subject heading and International Classification of Diseases keywords.Forty-nine articles were selected for analysis after an extensive scrutiny.Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 20 was used for analysis.Pearson correlation coefficient,Kruskal Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney U test were applied.RESULTS The most productive period with regards to the number of publications was between 2017 and 2019.A total of 160 authors contributed to the topic burnout among radiologists, with an average of 3.26 authors per paper.About 41.68%of the authors were female, whilst 35%of them were first authors. The co-citation analysis by author involved 188 cited authors,13 of whom were cited at least 70 times.Only six out of forty-nine studies were funded by various government institutions and non-governmental organizations.CONCLUSION Current analysis casts a spotlight on important trends being witnessed in regard to the mental health of radiologists, including lack of funding for mental health research, narrowing of female vs male citation gap,as well as authorship and citation trends. | Muhammad Fazal Hussain Qureshi Danish Mohammad Syed Mustafa Ali Shah Mahira Lakhani Muzna Shah Muhammad Hassan Ayub Sara Sadiq | 2022 | World Journal of Psychiatry2022,12,2: | 0 |
