11Improving Reconstructed Image Quality via Hybrid Compression Techniques显示文摘Data compression is one of the core fields of study for applications of image and video processing.The raw data to be transmitted consumes large bandwidth and requires huge storage space as a result,it is desirable to represent the information in the data with considerably fewer bits by the mean of data compression techniques,the data must be reconstituted very similarly to the initial form.In this paper,a hybrid compression based on Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT),DiscreteWavelet Transform(DWT)is used to enhance the quality of the reconstructed image.These techniques are followed by entropy encoding such as Huffman coding to give additional compression.Huffman coding is optimal prefix code because of its implementation is more simple,faster,and easier than other codes.It needs less execution time and it is the shortest average length and the measurements for analysis are based upon Compression Ratio,Mean Square Error(MSE),and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio(PSNR).We applied a hybrid algorithm on(DWT–DCT 2×2,4×4,8×8,16×16,32×32)blocks.Finally,we show that by using a hybrid(DWT–DCT)compression technique,the PSNR is reconstructed for the image by using the proposed hybrid algorithm(DWT–DCT 8×8 block)is quite high than DCT.Nancy Awadallah Awad Amena Mahmoud 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,3:0
12Analyzing Customer Reviews on Social Media via Applying Association Rule显示文摘The rapid growth of the use of social media opens up new challenges and opportunities to analyze various aspects and patterns in communication.In-text mining,several techniques are available such as information clustering,extraction,summarization,classification.In this study,a text mining framework was presented which consists of 4 phases retrieving,processing,indexing,and mine association rule phase.It is applied by using the association rule mining technique to check the associated term with the Huawei P30 Pro phone.Customer reviews are extracted from many websites and Facebook groups,such as re-view.cnet.com,CNET.Facebook and amazon.com technology,where customers from all over the world placed their notes on cell phones.In this analysis,a total of 192 reviews of Huawei P30 Pro were collected to evaluate them by text mining techniques.The findings demonstrate that Huawei P30 Pro,has strong points such as the best safety,high-quality camera,battery that lasts more than 24 hours,and the processor is very fast.This paper aims to prove that text mining decreases human efforts by recognizing significant documents.This will lead to improving the awareness of customers to choose their products and at the same time sales managers also get to know what their products were accepted by customers suspended.Nancy Awadallah Awad Amena Mahmoud 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
13Pyronaridine combined with diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the combination therapy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate against Babesia in vitro and in vivo.Methods:Bioinformatic analysis was performed using atom pair fingerprints.An in vitro combination test was performed against Babesia bovis and Theileria equi.Moreover,the in vivo chemotherapeutic efficacy of pyronaridine tetraphosphate in combination with diminazene aceturate was investigated against the growth of Babesia microti in mice using a fluorescence inhibitory assay.Results:Pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate exhibited nearly similar molecular weights.The in vitro combination of pyronaridine tetraphosphate and diminazene aceturate was synergistic on Babesia bovis and additive on Theileria equi.In addition,5 mg/kg pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with 10 mg/kg diminazene aceturate inhibited Babesia microti growth significantly compared with those observed after treatment with 25 mg/kg diminazene aceturate alone from day 6 post treatment to day 12 post treatment.The combination therapy also normalized the hematological parameters of infected mice.Conclusions:An oral dose of pyronaridine tetraphosphate combined with a subcutaneous dose of diminazene aceturate inhibits Babesia in vitro and in mice,suggesting it might be a new paradigm for the treatment of babesiosis.Shimaa Abd El-Salam El-Sayed Mohamed Z.Sayed-Ahmed Shaimaa Ahmed Awad Ali Nourah Alsadaan Nawazish Alam Mahmoud S.Alkhoudary Ikuo Igarashi Mohamed Abdo Rizk 2024Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2024,14,3:0
14Predicted Oil Recovery Scaling-Law Using Stochastic Gradient Boosting Regression Model显示文摘In the process of oil recovery,experiments are usually carried out on core samples to evaluate the recovery of oil,so the numerical data are fitted into a non-dimensional equation called scaling-law.This will be essential for determining the behavior of actual reservoirs.The global non-dimensional time-scale is a parameter for predicting a realistic behavior in the oil field from laboratory data.This non-dimensional universal time parameter depends on a set of primary parameters that inherit the properties of the reservoir fluids and rocks and the injection velocity,which dynamics of the process.One of the practical machine learning(ML)techniques for regression/classification problems is gradient boosting(GB)regression.The GB produces a prediction model as an ensemble of weak prediction models that can be done at each iteration by matching a least-squares base-learner with the current pseudoresiduals.Using a randomization process increases the execution speed and accuracy of GB.Hence in this study,we developed a stochastic regression model of gradient boosting(SGB)to forecast oil recovery.Different nondimensional time-scales have been used to generate data to be used with machine learning techniques.The SGB method has been found to be the best machine learning technique for predicting the non-dimensional time-scale,which depends on oil/rock properties.Mohamed F.El-Amin Abdulhamit Subasi Mahmoud M.Selim Awad Mousa 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
15Internal fixator vs external fixator in the management of unstable pelvic ring injuries:A prospective comparative cohort study显示文摘BACKGROUND Reconstruction of the pelvic ring anatomy in unstable anterior pelvic ring injuries is a significant step to reduce the mortality rate associated with these injuries efficiently.There is a debate on using either an anterior subcutaneous pelvis internal fixator(INFIX)or an anterior supra-acetabular external fixator(EXFIX)to manage an unstable anterior pelvic ring fracture.AIM To compare the functional and radiological outcomes and complications of INFIX vs EXFIX in managing unstable pelvic ring injuries.METHODS A prospective cohort study included 54 patients with unstable pelvic ring fractures.The patients were divided into two groups;the INFIX group,in which 30 cases were fixed by INFIX,and the EXFIX group,in which 24 patients were treated by EXFIX.The average age in the EXFIX group was 31.17 years(16-57 years),while in the INFIX group,it was 34.5 years(17-53 years).The study included 20(66.7%)males and 10(33.3%)females in the INFIX group and 10(41.7%)males and 14(58.3%)females in the EXFIX group.The radiological outcomes were evaluated using Matta and Tornetta's score,and the functional outcomes using the Majeed score.RESULTS The results revealed a statistically significant difference between both groups(P=0.013)regarding radiological outcomes,according to Matta and Tornetta's score in favor of the INFIX group.Sitting,standing,and walking abilities were measured at a 3-mo follow-up visit using Majeed score modules.It was significantly better among the INFIX group than the EXFIX group in all three modules.At the final follow-up,both groups had no statistically significant difference according to the Majeed score;92.35 in the INFIX group and 90.99 in the EXFIX group(P=0.513).A lower surgical site infection rate was noticed in the INFIX group(P=0.007).CONCLUSION Anterior subcutaneous pelvis INFIX is associated with better radiological outcomes and a lower infection rate than anterior supra-acetabular EXFIX in managing patients with unstable anterior pelvic ring fractures.Mohamed Abo-Elsoud Mostafa I Awad Mahmoud Abdel Karim Sherif Khaled Mohamed Abdelmoneim 2023World Journal of Orthopedics2023,14,7:0
16Using Semantic Web Technologies to Improve the Extract Transform Load Model显示文摘Semantic Web(SW)provides new opportunities for the study and application of big data,massive ranges of data sets in varied formats from multiple sources.Related studies focus on potential SW technologies for resolving big data problems,such as structurally and semantically heterogeneous data that result from the variety of data formats(structured,semi-structured,numeric,unstructured text data,email,video,audio,stock ticker).SW offers information semantically both for people and machines to retain the vast volume of data and provide a meaningful output of unstructured data.In the current research,we implement a new semantic Extract Transform Load(ETL)model that uses SW technologies for aggregating,integrating,and representing data as linked data.First,geospatial data resources are aggregated from the internet,and then a semantic ETL model is used to store the aggregated data in a semantic model after converting it to Resource Description Framework(RDF)format for successful integration and representation.The principal contribution of this research is the synthesis,aggregation,and semantic representation of geospatial data to solve problems.A case study of city data is used to illustrate the semantic ETL model’s functionalities.The results show that the proposed model solves the structural and semantic heterogeneity problems in diverse data sources for successful data aggregation,integration,and representation.Amena Mahmoud Mahmoud Y.Shams O.M.Elzeki Nancy Awadallah Awad 2021Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8:0
