| 1 | A New Expert System for Structural Interpretation of IR Spectra显示文摘A new expert system has been developed which can be used to aid chemists in structural interpretation of infrared spectra. The system consists of five essential portions: knowledge-base , inference engine, database, knowledge-acquisition module and explanatory interface. The system is implemented in Turbo PROLOG artificial intelligence language. Compared with other spectral interpretation systems this system is of the following advantages, i. e. the system has a friendly user interface, two kinds of methods for managing toowledge-base, several useful explanatory facilities such as why and how should explanation be made, etc. ; in addition, it can be run on the IBM PC/XT and its compatible microcomputers. Another important feature of the system is that it can simulate the reasoning procedure by which experienced chemists may interpret spectra as well as deduce complete molecular structures. The results show that p H,DO,CODMn,petroleum,and heavy metals( Cu,Pb,Zn,Cd,Hg,As and Cr) in the sea area near the Aojiang estuary did not exceed the second-class standard of Seawater Quality Standard( GB 3097-1997),but both inorganic nitrogen and reactive phosphate in the sea area exceeded the second-class standard seriously,and the water quality of the sea area was in an eutrophic state; domestic sewage and fertilizer loss were the main sources of nitrogen and phosphorus. | 8 | Detection of Persistent Organochlorine Pollutants in Eggs of Antarctic Seabirds Based on Gas Chromatography and Their Ecological Environment Significance显示文摘By using internal standard method based on gas chromatography-electron capture detector( GC-ECD),the contents of persistent organochlorine pollutants polychorinated biphenyls( PCBs) and organochlorine pesticides( OCPs) in eggs of seabirds( Catharacta lonnbergi,Catharacta maccormicki,Pygoscelis papua and Macronectes giganteus) breeding on King George Island,Antarctica were detected,and their ecological environment significance was discussed. The results showed that the recovery of various compounds ranged from 68. 6% to 90. 8%; relative standard deviation( RSD) was 3. 6%,and the lowest detection limits of PCBs and OCPs were 0. 8- 16 and 2- 12 pg respectively,which could meet the demands for the residue analysis of trace persistent organochlorine pollutants in the eggs of Antarctic seabirds. The contents of PCBs,DDTs,HCB and HCHs in the eggs of Antarctic seabirds were 0. 5- 515. 5,2. 0- 304. 4,0. 5- 70. 5,and 0. 5- 2. 0 ng / g respectively. In addition,the accumulation of PCBs and OCPs in the skuas was enhanced gradually through the food chain. The maximums of persistent organochlorine pollutants appeared in the eggs of C. lonnbergi,followed by the eggs of C. maccomicki. | 9 | Short-term Transmission Maintenance Scheduling Considering Network Topology Optimization显示文摘With the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources,transmission maintenance scheduling(TMS)will have a larger impact on the accommodation of wind power.Meanwhile,the more flexible transmission network topology owing to the network topology optimization(NTO)technique can ensure the secure and economic operation of power systems.This paper proposes a TMS model considering NTO to decrease the wind curtailment without adding control devices.The problem is formulated as a two-stage stochastic mixed-integer programming model.The first stage arranges the maintenance periods of transmission lines.The second stage optimizes the transmission network topology to minimize the maintenance cost and system operation in different wind speed scenarios.The proposed model cannot be solved efficiently with off-theshelf solvers due to the binary variables in both stages.Therefore,the progressive hedging algorithm is applied.The results on the modified IEEE RTS-79 system show that the proposed method can reduce the negative impact of transmission maintenance on wind accommodation by 65.49%,which proves its effectiveness. | Weixin Zhang Bo Hu Kaigui Xie Changzheng Shao Tao Niu Jiahao Yan Lvbin Peng Maosen Cao Yue Sun | 2022 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2022,10,4: | 1 |
| 10 | Giant low-field magnetocaloric effect in ferromagnetically ordered Er_(1-x)Tm_(x)Al_(2)(0≤x≤1)compounds显示文摘Magnetocaloric material is the key working substance for magnetic refrigerant technology,for which the low-field and low-temperature magnetocaloric effect(MCE)performance is of great importance for practical applications at low temperatures.Here,a giant low-field magnetocaloric effect in ferromagnetically ordered Er_(1-x)Tm_(x)Al_(2)(0≤x≤1)compounds was reported,and the magnetic structure was characterized based on low-temperature neutron powder diffraction.With increasing Tm content from 0 to 1,the Curie temperature of Er_(1-x)Tm_(x)Al_(2)(0≤x≤1)compounds decreases from 16.0 K to 3.6 K.For Er_(0.7)Tm_(0.3)Al_(2) compound,it showed the largest low-field magnetic entropy change(–SM)with the peak value of 17.2 and 25.7 J/(kg K)for 0–1 T and 0–2 T,respectively.The(–SM)max up to 17.2 J/(kg K)of Er0.7Tm0.3Al2 compound for 0–1 T is the largest among the intermetallic magnetocaloric materials ever reported at temperatures below 20 K.The peak value of adiabatic temperature change(Tad)max was determined as 4.13 K and 6.87 K for 0–1 T and 0–2 T,respectively.The characteristic of second-order magnetic transitions was confirmed on basis of Arrott plots,the quantitative criterion of exponent n,rescaled universal curves,and the mean-field theory criterion.The outstanding low-field MCE performance with low working temperatures indicates that Er_(1-x)Tm_(x)Al_(2)(0≤x≤1)compounds are promising candidates for magnetic cooling materials at liquid hydrogen and liquid helium temperatures. | Shuxian Yang Xinqi Zheng Dingsong Wang Juping Xu Wen Yin Lei Xi Chaofan Liu Jun Liu Jiawang Xu Hu Zhang Zhiyi Xu Lichen Wang Yihong Yao Maosen Zhang Yichi Zhang Jianxin Shen Shouguo Wang Baogen Shen | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15: | 0 |

| 16 | The Coupled Effect of Temperature Changes and Damage Depth on Natural Frequencies in Beam-Like Structures显示文摘A significant amount of research is concerned with dynamic modal parameters for damage detection of structural conditions due to their simplicity in use and feasibility.However,their use for damage detection should be performed with special attention,particularly in operational and environmental conditions subjected to temperature changes.Beams in construction industries experience different loading types,such as temperature changes leading to crack initiation and propagation.Changed physical and dynamic properties such as natural frequencies and mode shapes indicate that damage has occurred within the structures.In this study,vibration analysis of cantilever and cantilever simply supported beams has been carried out on intact and damaged beams to investigate the coupled effect of temperature changes and damage depth on natural frequencies.A numerical analysis of beams is completed using ANSYS software.The results of numerical simulation are validated using two other studies from literature.Numerical results revealed that in order to perform a successful damage assessment using the frequency shift,the vibration modes should be selected properly.In addition,an increase in temperature results in a decrease in structural frequencies.The assessment of the effect of damage depth on natural frequencies also confirms that when damage depth is increased,there is a significant decrease in natural frequency responses. | Tareq Al-hababi Nizar Faisal Alkayem Li Cui Shixiang Zhang Cong Liu Maosen Cao | 2022 | Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2022,16,1: | 0 |
