2Recent advances of wearable and flexible piezoresistivity pressure sensor devices and its future prospects显示文摘The human skin inspired soft electronic devices have attracted broadly research attention in the past decades as the promising potential applications in health monitoring and diagnosis,robotics,and prosthetics.The soft wearable piezoresistivity pressure sensor is one of the most attractive candidates for the development of advanced electronic skin for its simple mechanism,compact structure,low cost and power energy consumption and ease of signal acquisition and transforms advantages.In this review,we will explore the recent progress and achievements in the field of piezoresistivity pressure sensor,focusing on the fundamentals of the piezoresistivity pressure sensor and the materials related to the devices,including active materials,substrate materials,and electrode materials.Subsequently,the challenges and outlook are discussed.We list several current challenges perspectives on the development of pressure sensors.Several critical topics for the optimization of the sensitivity and working range of sensing devices toward practical applications are discussed.Finally,perspectives on the slip and force vectors sensors,the developing technologies for multi-function and high-resolution sensor systems and signals process technologies are examined to highlight the near future development tendency in piezoresistivity pressure sensor research field.Jiang He Yufei Zhang Runhui Zhou Lirong Meng Tao Chen Wenjie Mai Caofeng Pan 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,1:9
3Role of Diabetes Mellitus on Treatment Effects in Drug-susceptible Initial Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients in China显示文摘We assessed the role of diabetes mellitus(DM) on treatment effects in drug‐susceptible initial pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB) patients. A prospective study was conducted in eight provinces of China from October 2008 to December 2010. We enrolled 1,313 confirmed drug‐susceptible initial PTB patients, and all subjects received the treatment regimen(2 H3 R3 E3 Z3/4 H3 R3) as recommended by the national guidelines. Of the 1,313 PTB patients, 157(11.9%) had DM; these patients had more sputum smear‐positive rates at the end of the second month [adjusted odds ratios(aO R) 2.829, 95% confidence intervals(CI) 1.783‐4.490], and higher treatment failure(aO R 2.120, 95% CI 1.565‐3.477) and death rates(aO R 1.536, 95% CI 1.011‐2.628). 4Double diamond structured bicontinuous mesoporous titania templated by a block copolymer for anode material of lithium-ion battery显示文摘Titania has received considerable attention as a promising anode material of Li-ion battery(LIB).Controlling the structure and morphology of titania nanostructures is crucial to govern their performance.Herein,we report a mesoporous titania scaffold with a bicontinuous shifted double diamond(SDD)structure for anode material of LIB.The titania scaffold was synthesized by the cooperative self-assembly of a block copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)-block-polystyrene template and titanium diisopropoxide bis(acetylacetonate)as the inorganic precursor in a mixture solvent of tetrahydrofuran and HCl/water.The structure shows tetragonal symmetry(space group I4_(1)/amd)comprising two sets of diamond networks adjoining each other with the unit cell parameter of a=90 nm and c=127 nm,which affords the porous titania a specific surface area(SSA)of 42 m^(2)·g^(-1)with a mean pore diameter of 38 nm.Serving as an anode material of LIB,the bicontinuous titania scaffold exhibits a high specific capacity of 254 mAh·g^(-1)at the current density of 1 A·g^(-1)and an alluring self-improving feature upon charge/discharge over 1,000 cycles.This study overcomes the difficulty in building up ordered bicontinuous functional materials and demonstrates their potential in energy storage application.Qingqing Sheng Qian Li Luoxing Xiang Tao Huang Yiyong Mai Lu Han 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:2

6Efficacy and safety of antifibrinolytic agents in spinal surgery: a network meta-analysis显示文摘Background: Significant blood loss is still one of the most frequent complications in spinal surgery, which often necessitates blood transfusion. Massive perioperative blood loss and blood transfusion can create additional risks. Aprotinin, tranexamic acid (TXA), and epsilon-aminocaproic acid (EACA) are antifibrinolytics currently offered as prophylactic agents to reduce surgery-ass oci a ted blood loss. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of aprotinin, EACA, and low/high doses of TXA in spinal surgery, and assess the use of which agent is the most optimal intervention using the network meta-analysis (NMA) method. Methods: Five electronic databases were searched, including PubMed, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, Embase, and Web of Science, from the inception to March 1,2018. Trials that were randomized and compared results between TXA, EACA, and placebo were identified. The NMA was conducted with software R 3.3.2 and STATA 14.0. Results: Thirty randomized controlled trial (RCT) studies were analyzed. Aprotinin (standardized mean difference [SMD]=-0.65, 95% credibility intervals [CrI;-1.25,-0.06]), low-dose TXA (SMD=-0.58, 95% CrI [-0.92,-0.25]), and high-dose TXA (SMD =-0.70, 95% CrI [-1.04,-0.36]) were more effective than the respective placebos in reducing intraoperative blood loss. Low-dose TXA (SMD=-1.90, 95% CrI [-3.32,-0.48]) and high-dose TXA (SMD =-2.31, 95% CrI [-3.75,-0.87]) had less postoperative blood loss. Low-dose TXA (SMD=-1.07, 95% CrI [-1.82,-0.31]) and high-dose TXA (SMD =-1.07, 95% CrI[-1.82,-0.31]) significantly reduced total blood loss. However, only high-dose TXA (SMD =-2.07, 95% CrI [-3.26,-0.87]) was more effective in reducing the amount of transfusion, and was significantly superior to low-dose TXA in this regard (SMD =-1.67, 95% CrI [-3.20,-0.13]). Furthermore, aprotinin (odds ratio [OR]= 0.16, 95% CrI [0.05, 0.54]), EACA (OR = 0.46, 95% CrI [0.22, 0.97]) and high dose of TXA (OR = 0.34, 95% CrI [0.19, 0.58]) had a significant reduction in transfusion rates. Antifibrinolytics did not show a significantly increased risk of postoperative thrombosis. Results of ranking probabilities indicated that high-dose TXA had the greatest efficacy and a relatively high safety level. Conclusions: The antifibrinolytic agents are able to reduce perioperative blood loss and transfusion requirement during spine surgery. 9Linear-superelastic Ti-Nb nanocomposite alloys with ultralow modulus via high-throughput phase-field design and machine learning显示文摘The optimal design of shape memory alloys(SMAs)with specific properties is crucial for the innovative application in advanced technologies.Herein,inspired by the recently proposed design concept of concentration modulation,we explore martensitic transformation(MT)in and design the mechanical properties of Ti-Nb nanocomposites by combining high-throughput phase-field simulations and machine learning(ML)approaches.Systematic phase-field simulations generate data of the mechanical properties for various nanocomposites constructed by four macroscopic degrees of freedom.An ML-assisted strategy is adopted to perform multiobjective optimization of the mechanical properties,through which promising nanocomposite configurations are prescreened for the next set of phase-field simulations.The ML-guided simulations discover an optimized nanocomposite,composed of Nb-rich matrix and Nb-lean nanofillers,that exhibits a combination of mechanical properties,including ultralow modulus,linear superelasticity,and near-hysteresis-free in a loading-unloading cycle.The exceptional mechanical properties in the nanocomposite originate from optimized continuous MT rather than a sharp first-order transition,which is common in typical SMAs.This work demonstrates the great potential of ML-guided phase-field simulations in the design of advanced materials with extraordinary properties.Yuquan Zhu Tao Xu Qinghua Wei Jiawei Mai Hongxin Yang Huiran Zhang Takahiro Shimada Takayuki Kitamura Tong-Yi Zhang 2021npj Computational Materials2021,,1:1
