1Heme oxygenase-1/carbon monoxide signaling participates in the accumulation of triterpenoids of Ganoderma lucidum显示文摘Ganoderic triterpenoids(GTs)are the primary bioactive constituents of the Basidiomycotina fungus,Ganoderma lucidum.These compounds exhibit antitumor,anti-hyperlipidemic,and immune-modulatory pharmacological activities.This study focused on GT accumulation in mycelia of G.lucidum mediated by the heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)/carbon monoxide(CO)signaling.Compared with the control,hemin(10μmol/L)induced an increase of 60.1%in GT content and 57.1%in HO-1 activity.Moreover,carbon monoxide-releasing molecule-2(CORM-2),CO donor,increased GT content by 56.0%and HO-1 activity by 18.1%.Zn protoporphyrin IX(ZnPPIX),a specific HO-1 inhibitor,significantly reduced GT content by 26.0%and HO-1 activity by 15.8%,while hemin supplementation reversed these effects.Transcriptome sequencing showed that HO-1/CO could function directly as a regulator involved in promoting GT accumulation by regulating gene expression in the mevalonate pathway,and modulating the reactive oxygen species(ROS)and Ca2+pathways.The results of this study may help enhance large-scale GT production and support further exploration of GT metabolic networks and relevant signaling cross-talk.Meilin CUI Yuchang MA Youwei YU 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,11:0
2Abscisic acid-mediated cytosolic Ca^(2+) modulates triterpenoid accumulation of Ganoderma lucidum显示文摘Ganoderma lucidum is a mushroom widely used for its edible and medicinal properties.Primary bioactive constituents of G.lucidum are ganoderic triterpenoids(GTs),which exhibit important pharmacological activity.Abscisic acid(ABA),a plant hormone,is associated with plant growth,development,and stress responses.ABA can also affect the growth,metabolism,and physiological activities of different fungi and participates in the regulation of the tetracyclic triterpenes of some plants.Our findings indicated that ABA treatment promoted GT accumulation by regulating the gene expression levels(squalene synthase(sqs),3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase(hmgr),and lanosterol synthase(ls)),and also activated cytosolic Ca2 channels.Furthermore,under ABA mediation.Meilin CUI Yitao ZHAO Xiuhong ZHANG Wei ZHAO 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,12:0
3Mn-doping induced electronic modulation and rich oxygen vacancies on vertically grown NiFe2O4 nanosheet array for synergistically triggering oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Large-scale electrolysis of water to produce high-purity hydrogen is one of the effective ways to solve the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems.However,efficient,cheap and stable catalysts are one of the bottlenecks for industrial application in water splitting.Herein,a facile one-step hydrothermal process was applied to fabricate Mn-doped nickel ferrite nanosheets(Mn-NiFe_(2)O_(4))which shown a low overpotential of 200 mV at 50 mA·cm^(-2)and a small Tafel slope of 47 mV·dec^(-1),together with a prominent turnover frequency(TOF)value(0.14 s^(-1))and robust stability.The in-situ UV-vis spectroscopy unveiled the surface reconstruction to generate NiOOH as active sites during oxygen evolution reaction(OER).The excellent electrocatalytic activity of Mn-NiFe_(2)O_(4)is attributed to the vertically grown nanosheets for exposure more active sites,rich oxygen vacancies,and the hybridization between Ni 3d and O 2p orbitals caused by Mn doping.This work should provide a facile strategy by Mn-doping to simultaneously engineer oxygen vacancies and electronic structure for synergistically triggering oxygen evolution reaction.Yonghao Gan Meilin Cui Xiaoping Dai Ying Ye Fei Nie Ziteng Ren Xueli Yin Baoqiang Wu Yihua Cao Run Cai Xin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
