2Effect of Dietary Vitamin E on the Sperm Quality of Turbot(Scophthalmus maximus)显示文摘A 3-month feeding experiment was conducted in an in-door seawater system to investigate the effect of dietary vitamin E(Ve) on the sperm quality of turbot(Scophthalmus maximus). D-α-tocopherol acetate was supplemented to the basal(control) diet(65.14 mg kg–1 Ve) to obtain low and high levels of dietary Ve(244.60 mg kg–1, LVe; 721.60 mg kg–1, HVe). Compared with the control, sperm concentration was significantly increased in Ve-supplemented groups(LVe and HVe); while relative sperm volume and testis-somatic index were significantly increased in group HVe only. Sperm motility duration was significantly longer in group HVe than in the control, but no significant difference was observed in percent motility among groups. Sperm size, the uniformity of mitochondrial size, and the integrity of mitochondria cristae and plasma membrane were improved by dietary Ve, especially in HVe. The content of Ve in testis and liver as well as polyunsaturated fatty acids in sperm increased with dietary Ve. 4Characteristics and removal mechanism of the precursors of N-chloro-2,2-dichloroacetamide in a drinking water treatment process at Taihu Lake显示文摘N-chloro-2,2-dichloroacetamide(N-Cl-DCAM)is an emerging nitrogenous disinfection by-product(N-DBP)which can occur in drinking water.In this study,an analytical method based on liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)was developed to validate the concentration of N-Cl-DCAM,which was found to be 1.5µg/L in the effluent of a waterworks receiving raw water from Taihu Lake,China.The changes of N-Cl-DCAM formation potential(N-Cl-DCAMFP)in the drinking water treatment process and the removal efficiency of its precursors in each unit were evaluated.Non-polar organics accounted for the majority of N-Cl-DCAM precursors,accounting for 70%of the N-Cl-DCAM FP.The effect of conventional water treatment processes on the removal of N-Cl-DCAM precursors was found to be unsatisfactory due to their poor performance in the removal of low molecular weight(MW)or non-polar organics.In the ozonation integrated with biological activated carbon(O_(3)-BAC)process,the ozonation had little influence on the decrease of N-Cl-DCAM FP.The removal efficiency of precursors by a new BAC filter,in which the granular activated carbon(GAC)had only been used for four months was higher than that achieved by an old BAC filter in which the GAC had been used for two years.The different removal efficiencies of precursors were mainly due to the different adsorption capacities of GAC for individual precursors.Low MW or non-polar organics were predominantly removed by GAC,rather than biodegradation by microorganisms attached to GAC particles.Mengqing Ge Tao Lin Kemei Zhou Hong Chen Hang Xu Hui Tao Wei Chen 2021Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,5:1

8Rationally designing electrolyte additives for highly improving cyclability of LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)/Graphite cells显示文摘High voltage is necessary for high energy lithium-ion batteries but difficult to achieve because of the highly deteriorated cyclability of the batteries.A novel strategy is developed to extend cyclability of a high voltage lithium-ion battery,LiNi_(0.5)Mn_(1.5)O_(4)/Graphite(LNMO/Graphite)cell,which emphasizes a rational design of an electrolyte additive that can effectively construct protective interphases on anode and cathode and highly eliminate the effect of hydrogen fluoride(HF).5-Trifluoromethylpyridine-trime thyl lithium borate(LTFMP-TMB),is synthesized,featuring with multi-functionalities.Its anion TFMPTMB-tends to be enriched on cathode and can be preferentially oxidized yielding TMB and radical TFMP-.Both TMB and radical TFMP can combine HF and thus eliminate the detrimental effect of HF on cathode,while the TMB dragged on cathode thus takes a preferential oxidation and constructs a protective cathode interphase.On the other hand,LTFMP-TMB is preferentially reduced on anode and constructs a protective anode interphase.Consequently,a small amount of LTFMP-TMB(0.2%)in 1.0 M LiPF6in EC/DEC/EMC(3/2/5,wt%)results in a highly improved cyclability of LNMO/Graphite cell,with the capacity retention enhanced from 52%to 80%after 150 cycles at 0.5 C between 3.5 and 4.8 V.The as-developed strategy provides a model of designing electrolyte additives for improving cyclability of high voltage batteries.Zhiyong Xia Kuan Zhou Xiaoyan Lin Zhangyating Xie Qiurong Chen Xiaoqing Li Jie Cai Suli Li Hai Wang Mengqing Xu Weishan Li 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,91,4:0

10Enhanced interphasial stability of hard carbon for sodium-ion battery via film-forming electrolyte additive显示文摘Although the operating mechanism of sodium-ion battery(SIB)resembles that of lithium-ion battery,common film-forming additive for lithium-ion battery does not play its role in SIB.Therefore,it is essential to tailor new additives for SIB.Hard carbon(HC),as the most used anode material of SIB,has the disadvantage of interphasial instability,especially under the condition of long-term cycling.The incessant accumulation of electrolyte decomposition products leads to a significant increase in interphasial impedance and a sharp decline in discharge capacity.In this work,N-phenyl-bis(trifluoromethanesulfonimide)(PTFSI)was proposed as a novel film-forming electrolyte additive,which effectively enhances the long-term cycling performance for HC anode in SIB.The passivation film generated from the preferential reduction of PTFSI improves the capacity retention of HC/Na half-cell from 0%to 68%after 500 cycles.Profoundly,the enhanced interphasial stability of HC anode results in a 52%increase in capacity retention of HC/Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)full-cells after 100 cycles.Wenguang Zhang Fanghong Zeng Huijuan Huang Yan Yu Mengqing Xu Lidan Xing Weishan Li 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0
