1Seasonal characterization of components and size distributions for submicron aerosols in Beijing显示文摘Submicron aerosols(PM1)in Beijing were studied using an Aerodyne aerosol mass spectrometer(AMS)from January to October 2008.This paper presents seasonal variations of different chemical components(sulfate,nitrate,ammonium,chloride and organics)and size distributions of PM1.Results show that mass concentration of PM1 was highest in summer,and lowest in autumn.Organics represented the dominant species in all seasons,accounting for 36%-58%of PM1,and their concentrations were highest in winter.Concentrations of inorganic components,sulfate,nitrate,and ammonium were highest in summer. Based on principal component analysis,organics were deconvolved and quantified as hydrocarbon-like and oxygenated organic aerosol(HOA and OOA,respectively).HOA was highest in winter,accounting for about 70%of organics.However,OOA was highest in summer,and had lower values in autumn and winter.A similar diurnal pattern of various components was ob- served,which is higher at nighttime and lower during daytime.HOA increased more dramatically than other species between 17:00 and 21:00 and peaked at noon,which could be related to cooking emissions. OOA,sulfate,nitrate,ammonium and chloride varied with the same trend.Their concentrations increased with solar radiation from 9:00 to 13:00,and declined with weakening solar radiation.Size distributions of all species showed apparent peaks in the range 500-600 nm.Size distributions of organics were much broader than other species,particularly in autumn and winter.Distributions of sulfate,nitrate and ammonium had similar patterns,broadening in winter.Contributions of different species were size-dependent;the finer the particle,the greater the contribution of organics.Organics represented more than 60%of particles smaller than 200 nm,contributing 50%to PM1 in winter.In spring and summer,HOA was the dominant organic fraction for particles smaller than 200 nm, while OOA contributed more to particles larger than 300 nm.In winter,HOA contributed more than OOA to all PM1 particles.ZHANG YangMei SUN JunYing ZHANG XiaoYe SHEN XiaoJing WANG TingTing QIN MingKai 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,5:14

3Investigation on Precooling Effects of 4 K Stirling-Type Pulse Tube Cryocoolers显示文摘Stirling-type pulse tube cryocoolers(SPTCs)working at liquid-helium temperatures are appealing in space applications because of their promising advantages such as high reliability,compactness,etc.Worldwide efforts have been put in to develop SPTCs operating at liquid-helium temperatures especially with helium-4 as the working fluid.Staged structure is essential to reach such low temperatures.Generally,both the regenerator of the last section and the pulse tube together with the phase shifter are precooled by its upper stage or by external cold source to a low temperature of around 20 K.However,the precooling effects on the regenerator and the pulse tube are synthetic in previous studies,and their independent effects have not been studied clearly.In this manuscript,the precooling effects on the regenerator and on the pulse tube together with the phase shifter are tested independently on a unique-designed precooled SPTC.The tested precooling temperature is between 13.3 K and 22 K,and the no-load refrigeration temperature gets down to 3.6 K.Further analyses and numerical calculations have been carried out.It is found that the influence on the regenerator is remarkable,which is different from previous conclusions.It is also found that the precooling effects on the pulse tube are relatively weak because of the large pressure-induced enthalpy flow of a real gas working at the temperatures near to the critical point.Furthermore,the phase shifting capacity is analyzed with two cases and with both helium-4 and helium-3 as working fluids,and it keeps quite constant after optimizing the frequency and the precooling temperature for each case.The investigation on these independent effects will provide valid reference on the precooling mechanism study of SPTCs working down to liquid-helium temperatures.CAO Qiang LI Zimu LUAN Mingkai SUN Zheng TANG Xiao LI Peng JIANG Zhenhua WEI Li 2019Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,4:4
4Early Activation of Astrocytes does not Affect Amyloid Plaque Load in an Animal Model of Alzheimer's Disease显示文摘Astrocytes are closely associated with Alzheimer's disease(AD). However, their precise roles in AD pathogenesis remain controversial. One of the reasons behind the different results reported by different groups might be that astrocytes were targeted at different stages of disease progression. In this study, by crossing h APP(human amyloid precursor protein)-J20 mice with a line of GFAP-TK mice, we found that astrocytes were activated specifically at an early stage of AD before the occurrence of amyloid plaques, while microglia were not affected by this crossing. Activation of astrocytes at the age of 3–5 months did not affect the proteolytic processing of hAPP and amyloid plaque loads in the brains of hAPP-J20 mice. 5Aquaporin-1 Expressed in Cultured Human Trabecular Meshwork Cells显示文摘Objective:To determine if aquaporin-1 could be detected in cultures of human trabecularshwork cells. Methods: Using primers specific for aquaporin-1, reverse transcription combined withpolymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) yielded a product and its size with total RNAprepared from the human trabecular meshwork cells. SDS-PAGE and immunoblottingwere also used in this study to detect the specific water channel.Results: The presence of this product and its size (298 base pairs) are consistent withthat of an aquaporin-1 message in these cells. A band of 28 kD in agreement with themolecular size of aquaporin-1 was showed in a film by immunoblotting.Conclusion: The presence of aquaporin-1 in human trabecular meshwork cells, thepredominant cell-type of the primary outflow region of the human eye, suggests that waterchannels may be involved in the movement of aqueous fluid out of the eye. 6Phacoemulsification in Patients with Secondary Glaucoma Caused by Uveitis显示文摘Purposes: To evaluate the effect of phacoemulsification in the patients with uveitis,secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract. Methods: Phacoemulsification and implantation of a foldable intraocular len was performed in 12 patients(13 eyes) with uveitis, secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract. The complications, intraocular pressures (IOP), and visual acuity were observed postoperatively. Results: No severe complication was found in the patients postoperatively or within the operation procedure. The visual acuity was improved after the operation ( P < 0.05) .The intraocular pressures and/or the number of antiglaucoma medications reduced in 3months of the follow-up time. Conclusion: phacoemulsification is the best way to treat the patients with secondary glaucoma and complicated cataract caused by uveitis. 7The Preliminary Study of Glucocorticoid Receptor Gene in Chinese Patients with Glucocorticoid-induced Glaucoma显示文摘Background: To study the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) and the associated gene regulation in the pathogenesis of glucocorticoid- induced glaucoma (GIG) in Chinese patients.Methods: The trabecular cells of normal individuals and patients with GIG were cultured in vitro. By using polymerase chain reaction (PCR),gene fragments on GR DNA binding sites of trabecular cells were amplified. The product was detected by gel electrophoresis.Results: The trabecular cells were cultured successfully in normal individuals and patients with GIG in vitro. A single PCR product was obtained in both two groups with the same size of 545 base pairs.Conclusion: There is not any difference in gene on the GR DNA binding sites between normal individuals and patients with GIG. The results suggest the difference in mRNA or other functional genes. 9Mechanical thrombectomy with combined stent retriever and contact aspiration versus stent retriever alone for acute large vessel occlusion:data from ANGEL-ACT registry显示文摘Background and purpose An analysis of the ASTER 2 trial revealed similar final recanalisation levels and clinical outcomes in acute large vessel occlusion(LVO)stroke between stent retrieval(SR)alone as a first-line mechanical thrombectomy(MT)technique(SR alone first-line)and concomitant use of contact aspiration(CA)plus SR as a first-line MT technique(SR+CA first-line).The purpose of the present study was to compare the safety and efficacy of SR+CA first-line with those of SR alone first-line for patients with LVO in China.Methods We conducted the present study by using the data from the ANGEL-ACT registry.We divided the selected patients into SR+CA first-line and SR alone first-line groups.We performed logistic regression and generalised linear models with adjustments to compare the angiographic and clinical outcomes,including successful/complete recanalisation after the first technique alone and all procedures,first-pass successful/complete recanalisation,number of passes,90-day modified Rankin Scale,procedure duration,rescue treatment and intracranial haemorrhage within 24 hours.Results Of the 1233 enrolled patients,1069(86.7%)received SR alone first-line,and 164(13.3%)received SR+CA first-line.SR+CA first-line was associated with more thrombectomy passes(3(2-4)vs 2(1-2);β=1.77,95%CI=1.55 to 1.99,p<0.001),and longer procedure duration(86(60-129)min vs 80(50-122)min;β=10.76,95%CI=1.08 to 20.43,p=0.029)than SR alone first-line group.Other outcomes were comparable(all p>0.05)between the two groups.Conclusions Patients undergoing SR+CA first-line had more thrombectomy passes and longer procedure duration than patients undergoing SR alone first-line.Additionally,we suggested that SR+CA first-line was not superior to SR alone first-line in final recanalisation level,first-pass recanalisation level and 90-day clinical outcomes in the Chinese population.Xiaochuan Huo Dapeng Sun Mingkai Hu Raynald Baixue Jia Xu Tong Gaoting Ma Anxin Wang Ning Ma Feng Gao Dapeng Mo Zhongrong Miao the ANGEL-ACT Study group 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,4:1

11Mechanical Test and Meso-Model Numerical Study of Composite Rubber Concrete under Salt-Freezing Cycle显示文摘A composite rubber concrete(CRC)was designed by combining waste tire rubber particles with particle sizes of 3~5 mm,1~3 mm and 20 mesh.Taking the rubber content of different particle sizes as the influencing factors,the range and variance analysis of the mechanical and impermeability properties of CRC was carried out by orthogonal test.Through analysis,it is concluded that the optimal proportion of 3~5 mm,1~3 mm,and 20 mesh particle size composite rubber is 1:2.5:5.5 kinds of CRC and 3 kinds of ordinary single-mixed rubber concrete(RC)with a total content of 10%~20%were designed under this ratio,and the salt-freezing cycle test was carried out with a concentration of 5%Na 2 SO4 solution.The physical and mechanical damage laws during 120 salt-freezing cycles are obtained,and the corresponding damage prediction model is established according to the experimental data.The results show that:on the one hand,the composite rubber in CRC produces a more uniform“graded”structure,forms a retractable particle group,and reduces the loss of mechanical properties of CRC.On the other hand,colloidal particles with different particle sizes are used as air entraining agent to improve the pore structure of concrete and introduce evenly dispersed bubbles,which fundamentally improves the durability of concrete.Under the experimental conditions,the CRC performance is the best when the overall content of composite rubber is 15%.Mingkai Sun Yanan Wang Pingwei Jiang Zerong Song Zhan Gao Jiaming Xu 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,2:0
12Effect of defatted flaxseed gum powder addition on the quality of sesame paste显示文摘The study explored the influence of defatted flaxseed gum powder(DFGP)on the stability and quality of sesame paste by measuring and analyzing its composition,color,texture,particle size,centrifugal oil separation rate,rheological properties,and microstructure.The results showed that the moisture and polysaccharide content of sesame paste was increased as the DFGP increased.Additionally,the hardness,gumminess,and chewiness of the sesame paste was improved,while the presence of particles with small particle size(1-100μm)was decreased.The rate of oil precipitation was reduced by 28.99%when the amount of DFGP was 6%.The sesame paste samples exhibited pseudoplastic behavior,demonstrating shear thinning.As the shear rate increased,the apparent viscosity of sesame paste gradually decreased.Both the storage modulus(G0)and the loss modulus(G00)increased as the shear frequency increased.The microstructure observation revealed that protein and oil were evenly distributed in the sesame paste system,and the addition of DFGP enhanced the bonding between oil and protein.This study can provide valuable references for high-quality sesame paste products in the food industry.Haichao He Mingkai Sun Jiahui Wang Yan Tang Yashu Chen Qianchun Deng Qingde Huang Hu Tang 2024Oil Crop Science2024,9,1:0
