| 1 | Microstructural evolution,mechanical properties,and corrosion resistance of a heat-treated Mg alloy for the bio-medical application显示文摘During the recent years,some Mg based alloys have extensively been considered as a new generation of degradable and absorbable bio-medical materials.In this work,the Mg-2Zn-1Gd-1Ca(wt%)alloy as a new metallic bio-material was produced by the casting process followed by the heat treatment.The samples of the alloy were solution treated at temperatures of 500,550,and 600°C and then quench aged at temperatures of 125,150,and 175°C.The results of SEM-EDS examinations indicated that the alloy microstructure consists ofα-Mg matrix and the Ca_(2)Mg_(6)Zn_(3)and Mg_(3)Gd_(2)Zn_(3)secondary phases.With regard to the results of Vickers hardness test,the temperatures of 500°C and 150°C were selected as the optimum solutionizing and aging temperatures,respectively.Moreover,the dissolution of casting precipitates and production of lattice distortion occurring after the solution treatment led to the reduction in ultimate shear strength up to 21%.But,the precipitation hardening and morphological changes taking place during the aging treatment improved the ultimate shear strength up to 32%.Furthermore,the results of electro-chemical and weight-loss measurements in a simulated body fluid indicated that the heat-treated alloy is a promising candidate for the Mg based alloys recently considered for the bio-medical applications. | Mohammad Janbozorgi Kimia Karimi Taheri Ali Karimi Taheri | 2019 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,1: | 14 |

| 4 | Fischer-Tropsch synthesis over ruthenium-promoted Co/Al_2O_3 catalyst with different reduction procedures显示文摘The effect of reduction procedure on catalyst properties, activity and products selectivity of ruthenium-promoted Co/γ-Al2O3 catalyst in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) was investigated. Catalyst samples were reduced with different reduction gas compositions and passivated before being characterized by TPR and XRD techniques. Different activity and product selectivity analyses were also performed. These results showed that the catalyst dispersion, particle size, and the degree of reduction changed with different reduction gas compositions, which were resulted from the water partial pressures in reduction process that give varying degrees of interaction with the support. It has been suggested that the FTS activity of cobalt catalyst was directly dependent on the catalyst reducibility. | 15 | Modelling the probability of presence of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus in Iran until 2070显示文摘Objective:To determine the suitable ecological habitats of Aedes(Ae.)aegypti and Ae.albopictus in Iran due to climate change by the 2070s.Methods:All data relating to the spatial distribution of Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus worldwide,which indicated the geographical coordinates of the collection sites of these mosquitoes,were extracted from online scientific websites and entered into an Excel file.The effect of climatic and environmental variables on these mosquitoes was evaluated using the MaxEnt model in the current and future climatic conditions in the 2030s,2050s,and 2070s.Results:The most suitable areas for the establishment of Ae.aegypti are located in the southern and northern coastal areas of Iran,based on the model outputs.The modelling result for suitable ecological niches of Ae.albopictus shows that in the current climatic conditions,the southern half of Iran from east to west,and parts of the northern coasts are prone to the presence of this species.In the future,some regions,such as Gilan and Golestan provinces,will have more potential to exist/establish Ae.albopictus.Also,according to the different climate change scenarios,suitable habitats for this species will gradually change to the northwest and west of the country.The temperature of the wettest season of the year(Bio8)and average annual temperature(Bio1)were the most effective factors in predicting the model for Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus,respectively.Conclusions:It is required to focus on entomological studies using different collection methods in the vulnerable areas of Iran.The future modelling results can also be used for long-term planning to prevent the entry and establishment of these invasive Aedes vectors in the country. | Mohammad Mehdi Sedaghat Faramarz Bozorg Omid Mohammad Karimi Sajjad Haghi Ahmad Ali Hanafi-Bojd | 2023 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 16 | RAPID AND FACILE SYNTHESIS OF ACYL AZIDES FROM ACYL HALIDES USING A POLYMER-SUPPORTED AZIDE ION UNDER HETEROGENEOUS CONDITIONS显示文摘In this article a rapid and facile method for synthesis of acyl azide is described. The cross-linked poly(N-methyl-4-vinylpyridinium) azide ion, [P4-VP]N3 is prepared and used as an efficient polymeric reagent for synthesis of acyl azides from acyl halides at room temperature under heterogeneous conditions. Various benzoyl halides, with electron-withdrawing groups as well as electron-donating groups, were transformed into the corresponding benzoyl azides in high to excellent yields in short reaction times. The acyl azide products were characterized by FT-IR, and some of them were also characterized by 1H- and/or 13C-NMR spectroscopy, and physical properties were compared to literature values of known compounds. The spent polymeric reagents can be regenerated and reused for several times without losing their activity. Relative to the reported methods, the present method has the advantages of operational simplicity, mild reaction conditions, fast reaction rates, simple reaction work-up and lower hazardous and potentially explosive nature. | 17 | A predictive model of death from cerebrovascular diseases in intensive care units显示文摘Objective This study aimed to explore the mortality prediction of patients with cerebrovascular diseases inthe intensive care unit(ICU)by examining the important signals during different periods of admission in theICU,which is considered one of the new topics in the medical field.Several approaches have been proposed forprediction in this area.Each of these methods has been able to predict mortality somewhat,but many of thesetechniques require recording a large amount of data from the patients,where recording all data is not possiblein most cases;at the same time,this study focused only on heart rate variability(HRV)and systolic and diastolicblood pressure.Methods The ICU data used for the challenge were extracted from the Multiparameter Intelligent Monitoring inIntensive Care II(MIMIC-II)Clinical Database.The proposed algorithm was evaluated using data from 88 cerebrovascular ICU patients,48 men and 40 women,during their first 48 hours of ICU stay.The electrocardiogram(ECG)signals are related to lead II,and the sampling frequency is 125 Hz.The time of admission and time ofdeath are labeled in all data.In this study,the mortality prediction in patients with cerebral ischemia is evaluated using the features extracted from the return map generated by the signal of HRV and blood pressure.Topredict the patient’s future condition,the combination of features extracted from the return mapping generatedby the HRV signal,such as angle(��),area(A),and various parameters generated by systolic and diastolic bloodpressure,including DBPMax−Min SBPSD have been used.Also,to select the best feature combination,the geneticalgorithm(GA)and mutual information(MI)methods were used.Paired sample t-test statistical analysis was usedto compare the results of two episodes(death and non-death episodes).The P-value for detecting the significancelevel was considered less than 0.005.Results The results indicate that the new approach presented in this paper can be compared with other methodsor leads to better results.The best combination of features based on GA to achieve maximum predictive accuracywas m(mean),L_(Mean),A,SBP_(SVMax),DBP_(Max-Min).The accuracy,specificity,and sensitivity based on the best featuresobtained from GA were 97.7%,98.9%,and 95.4%for cerebral ischemia disease with a prediction horizon of0.5–1 hour before death.The d-factor for the best feature combination based on the GA model is less than 1(d-factor=0.95).Also,the bracketed by 95 percent prediction uncertainty(95PPU)(%)was obtained at 98.6.Conclusion The combination of HRV and blood pressure signals might increase the accuracy of the predictionof the death episode and reduce the minimum hospitalization time of the patient with cerebrovascular diseasesto determine the future status. | Mohammad Karimi Moridani Seyed Kamaledin Setarehdan Ali Motie Nasrabadi Esmaeil Hajinasrollah | 2023 | Intelligent Medicine2023,3,4: | 0 |
| 18 | 室内条件下小菜蛾在五种花椰菜栽培种上的生物学和种群统计(英文)显示文摘【目的】小菜蛾Plutella xylostella(L.)是全球十字花科植物上最重要的害虫。由于施药成本的增加以及对环境的破坏性危害,抗性栽培种成为控制小菜蛾的理想选择。本研究中,鉴于对花椰菜不同栽培种的抗感性缺乏充分的了解,我们评价了几个常见栽培种的抗性以及不同植物栽培种对害虫种群增长潜力的影响。【方法】在25±2℃,RH 65%±5%和光周期16L∶8D的室内条件下,研究了小菜蛾P.xylostella在5种花椰菜栽培种(Smilla,White cloud,Buris,Galiblanka和Tokita)上的生命表参数。【结果】不小菜蛾幼期发育历期变化范围从Smilla上的13.44d至Buris上的15.88 d。在Buris上观察到最高的生殖力。在Smilla上饲养的小菜蛾种群内禀增长率(0.27±0.02)和有限增长率(1.32±0.13)最高,而倍增时间最短(2.50 d)。【结论】因此,与其他栽培种相比,在伊朗南部Smilla更适合小菜蛾存活和繁殖,在条件合适和天敌缺乏时该害虫的种群能快速增长。 | Mohammad SALEHI-TABAR Fatemeh JAHAN Habib ABBASIPOUR Ahreza ASKARIANZADEH] Jaber KARIMI Ali Hossein RAHIMI | 2014 | 昆虫学报2014,57,1: | 0 |
