1Adverse events with bismuth salts for Helicobacter pylori eradication:Systematic review and meta-analysis显示文摘AIM: To assess the safety of bismuth used in Helico- bacter pylori (H pylori) eradication therapy regimens. METHODS: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis. MEDLINE and EMBASE were searched (up to October 2007) to identify randomised controlled tri- als comparing bismuth with placebo or no treatment, or bismuth salts in combination with antibiotics as part of eradication therapy with the same dose and duration of antibiotics alone or, in combination, with acid suppres- sion. Total numbers of adverse events were recorded. Data were pooled and expressed as relative risks with 95% confidence intervals (CI). RESULTS: We identified 35 randomised controlled tri- als containing 4763 patients. There were no serious adverse events occurring with bismuth therapy. There was no statistically significant difference detected in total adverse events with bismuth [relative risk (RR) = 1.01; 95% CI: 0.87-1.16], specific individual adverse events, with the exception of dark stools (RR = 5.06; 95% CI: 1.59-16.12), or adverse events leading to withdrawal of therapy (RR = 0.86; 95% CI: 0.54-1.37). CONCLUSION: Bismuth for the treatment of H pylori is safe and well-tolerated. 2HA coating on Mg alloys for biomedical applications:A review显示文摘Magnesium(Mg)alloys are receiving increasing attention as biodegradable implant materials in recent years.However,their low corrosion resistance and fast degradation in the physiological environment remain challenges for a widespread application.Hydroxyapatite(HA)coating on Mg alloys can enhance their corrosion resistance,biocompatibility,and bioactivity of the Mg alloy substrates since the compositions of HA are similar to those of the hard tissue of natural bone.This review analyzes the challenges of Mg alloys for biomedical applications,the fundamental requirements for biodegradable metals,and the corrosion mechanisms of Mg alloys in the physiological environment.The benefits of HA coatings on Mg alloys,the most commonly used surface coating techniques and their advantages and limitations,and the in vitro and in vivo performance of Mg alloys with and without surface coatings are comprehensively elucidated.Multistep processes such as alkali treatment and then HA coating by electrochemical deposition on Mg alloys appear to be necessary to achieve a satisfactory surface coating on Mg alloys,which has been demonstrated to have the potential to improve the degrading behavior,bioactivity and biocompatibility.Multifunctional coatings are most effective in achieving safe and bioactive Mg alloy surfaces for promising biodegradable implant applications.Mostafizur Rahman Yuncang Li Cuie Wen 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,3:4

4Effects of florfenicol exposure on growth,development and antioxidant capacity of flounder Paralichthys olivaceus larvae at different developmental stages显示文摘Antibiotics are widespread in various environmental media,and may pose a potential threat to aquatic ecosystems and non-target aquatic organisms.Florfenicol(FLO)is one of the most commonly used antibiotics in aquaculture,and extensively used to substitute chloramphenicol with its strong sterilization and low adverse ef fect.In this study,flounder Paralichthys olivaceus,an important economic fish species in seawater was used as an experimental subject.Five exposure concentrations of FLO(including environmentrelated concentrations)were set at 0,0.01,0.1,1,and 10 mg/L.Ef fects of FLO exposure for 168 h on growth and development,motor behavior,antioxidant enzyme activity,malondialdehyde(MDA)content,and thyroid hormone level of P.olivaceus larvae were studied in pre-larvae(1 dpf)and post-larvae(20 dpf).The results show that the short-term FLO exposure could promote the larvae growth to some degrees,but inhibit them as the exposure time prolonged.For pre-larvae,FLO at 0.01 mg/L could stimulate the motor nerve system and increase the swimming ability,but inhibited it at 1 mg/L.With the increasing dosage of FLO,the superoxide dismutase(SOD)and MDA contents were elevated,reaching the maximum in the 1 mg/L FLO group.The pre-larvae were more sensitive than the post-larvae to FLO in the environment,and the growth and immune resistance could be damaged with long exposure.Post-larvae were more tolerant to external pollutants,FLO at 1 mg/L could promote the motor behavior and reduce SOD and MDA contents.Therefore,FLO can be used as an antibiotic at a proper concentration but as a drug to prevent disease in a long-term way.GUO Rui ZHANG Yingqi ZHANG Xianyu ZHANG Qian CHENG Rui MD MOSTAFIZUR Rahman LIU Ying 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,2:1

18氟苯尼考在海水鱼循环水养殖系统中的迁移转化规律显示文摘随着抗生素的大量使用,许多国家针对氟苯尼考残留制定了食品安全限量标准,并规定了相应的休药期。设计连续7 d以10 mg/(kg·d)的氟苯尼考投药试验和14 d停药的暴露试验,使用高效液相色谱检测氟苯尼考在循环水养殖系统中的残留规律以及在欧洲舌齿鲈肌肉和肝脏组织中的残留水平。试验结果显示,循环水养殖系统各处理单元中(蛋白分离器、生物滤池、紫外消毒装置)氟苯尼考的质量浓度随着投药时间的增加,呈不同程度积累上升。在投药第7 d时,各处理单元氟苯尼考的残留质量浓度均达到最大值;停药后,氟苯尼考残留质量浓度逐渐下降,停药第14 d各处理单元中的氟苯尼考水平与投药前水平相当。不同处理单元对于氟苯尼考降解率的贡献为紫外消毒装置>蛋白分离器>生物滤池。此外,氟苯尼考在欧洲舌齿鲈组织样品中的残留水平随停药时间延长而降低,停药7 d后其肝脏和肌肉组织中的残留量均低于国家标准(1000μg/kg)。本试验将为循环水系统中各水处理单元的工艺设计提供理论基础,推动水产养殖业的健康可持续发展。郭睿 张莺脐 张羡宇 刘述颖 吴子曾 张倩 刘鹰 MD MOSTAFIZUR Rahman 2020水产科学2020,39,3:1
