| 1 | Enhancing plant-microbe associated bioremediation of phenanthrene and pyrene contaminated soil by SDBS-Tween 80 mixed surfactants显示文摘The use of surfactants to enhance plant-microbe associated dissipation in soils contaminated with polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) is a promising bioremediation technology. This comparative study was conducted on the effects of plant-microbe treatment on the removal of phenanthrene and pyrene from contaminated soil, in the presence of low concentration single anionic, nonionic and anionic-nonionic mixed surfactants. Sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate(SDBS) and Tween 80 were chosen as representative anionic and nonionic surfactants, respectively. We found that mixed surfactants with concentrations less than 150 mg/kg were more effective in promoting plant-microbe associated bioremediation than the same amount of single surfactants. Only about(m/m) of mixed surfactants was needed to remove the same amount of phenanthrene and pyrene from either the planted or unplanted soils, when compared to Tween 80. Mixed surfactants(< 150 mg/kg) better enhanced the degradation efficiency of phenanthrene and pyrene via microbe or plant-microbe routes in the soils. In the concentration range of 60–150 mg/kg, both ryegrass roots and shoots could accumulate 2–3 times the phenanthrene and pyrene with mixed surfactants than with Tween 80. These results may be explained by the lower sorption loss and reduced interfacial tension of mixed surfactants relative to Tween 80, which enhanced the bioavailability of PAHs in soil and the microbial degradation efficiency. | 2 | Corrosion mechanism of micro-arc oxidation treated biocompatible AZ31 magnesium alloy in simulated body fluid显示文摘The rapid degradation of magnesium(Mg) based alloys has prevented their further use in orthopedic trauma fixation and vascular intervention,and therefore it is essential to investigate the corrosion mechanism for improving the corrosion resistance of these alloys. In this work, the effect of applied voltage on the surface morphology and the corrosion behavior of micro-arc oxidation(MAO) with different voltages were carried out to obtain biocompatible ceramic coatings on AZ31 Mg alloy. The effects of applied voltage on the surface morphology and the corrosion behavior of MAO samples in the simulated body fluid(SBF) were studied systematically. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD)were employed to characterize the morphologies and phase compositions of coating before and after corrosion. The results showed that corrosion resistance of the MAO coating obtained at 250 V was better than the others in SBF. The dense layer of MAO coating and the corrosion precipitation were the key factors for corrosion behavior. The corrosion of precipitation Mg(OH)2and the calcium phosphate(Ca–P) minerals on the surface of MAO coatings could enhance their corrosion resistance effectively. | 3 | A preliminary analysis of the surface chemistry of atmospheric aerosol particles in a typical urban area of Beijing显示文摘Atmospheric aerosol particle samples were collected using an Ambient Eight Stage(Non-Viable) Cascade Impactor Sampler in a typical urban area of Beijing from 27 th Sep.to 5th Oct.,2009.The surface chemistry of these aerosol particles was analyzed using Static Time of Flight-Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry(Static TOF-SIMS).The factors influencing surface compositions were evaluated in conjunction with the air pollution levels,meteorological factors,and air mass transport for the sampling period.The results show that a variety of organic ion groups and inorganic ions/ion groups were accumulated on the surfaces of aerosol particles in urban areas of Beijing;and hydrophobic organic compounds with short-or middle-chain alkyl as well as hydrophilic secondary inorganic compounds were observed.All these compounds have the potential to affect the atmospheric behavior of urban aerosol particles.PM1.1–2.1and PM3.3–4.7had similar elements on their surfaces,but some molecules and ionic groups demonstrated differences in Time of Flight-Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry spectra.This suggests that the quantities of elements varied between PM1.1–2.1and PM3.3–4.7.In particular,more intense research efforts into fluoride pollution are required,because the fluorides on aerosol surfaces have the potential to harm human health.The levels of air pollution had the most significant influence on the surface compositions of aerosol particles in our study.Hence,heavier air pollution was associated with more complex surface compositions on aerosol particles.In addition,wind,rainfall,and air masses from the south also greatly influenced the surface compositions of these urban aerosol particles. | Zhengzheng Zhang Hong Li Hongyan Liu Runxiang Ni Jinjuan Li Liqun Deng Defeng Lu Xueli Cheng Pengli Duan Wenjun Li | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,9: | 5 |

| 8 | Lunar meteorites: witnesses of the composition and evolution of the Moon显示文摘Lunar meteorites are fragments of the Moon that escaped the gravity of the Moon following high-energy impacts by asteroids,subsequently fell to Earth.An inventory of 165 lunar meteorites has been developed since the discovery and identification of the first lunar meteorite,ALHA 81005,in 1979.Although the Apollo samples are much heavier in mass than lunar meteorites,the meteorites are still an important sample supplement for scientific research on the composition and history of the Moon.Apart from a small amount of unbrecciated crystalline rocks,the majority of lunar meteorites are breccias that can be classified into three groups:highland feldspathic breccia,mare basaltic breccia,and mingled(including fledspathic and basaltic clasts)breccia.The petrography of lunar rocks suggests that there are a series of rock types of anorthosite,basalt,gabbro,troctolite,norite and KREEP in the Moon.Although KREEP is rare in lunar rocks,KREEP components have been found in the increasing number of lunar meteorites.KREEP provides important information on lunar magmatic evolution,e.g.,the VHK KREEP clasts in SaU 169 may represent the pristine lunar magma(urKREEP).Six launching pairs of lunar meteorites have been proposed now,along with ten possible lunar launching sites.In addition,symplectite is often found in lunar basalts,which is a significant record of shock metamorphism on the lunar surface.Furthermore,isotopic ages and noble gases not only provide information on crystallization processes in lunar rocks and the formation of lunar crust,but also provide insight into shock events on the lunar surface. | MIAO Bingkui CHEN Hongyi XIA Zhipeng YAO Jie XIE Lanfang NI Wenjun ZHANG Chuantong | 2014 | Advances in Polar Science2014,25,2: | 1 |

| 16 | Characteristics of 240 randomized controlled trials for adjusting constitution in preventive treatment of disease:A bibliometric analysis显示文摘Background:A growing number of randomized controlled trials(RCTs)have explored the significance of adjusting constitution for preventive treatment of disease in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).In this study,we sought to comprehensively analyze the characteristics of these RCTs.Methods:All RCTs related to constitutional adjustment and preventive treatment of disease were included in the study.Literature was screened searching seven databases,including Pubmed,Web of Science,Embase,SinoMed,CNKI,Chongqing VIP,and Wangfang Database,from inception to December 2018.Data pertaining to bibliometrics,participants,and interventions were extracted and analyzed.Results:Two hundred and forty papers were published between 2007 and 2018,involving 240 RCTs with 55977 total participants.Sample size in these RCTs ranged from 30 to 7800.Among them,59 RCTs addressed disease prevention prior to onset involving 11 healthy states of participants,mainly for general health or sub-health population(40.68%)using health care and non-drug therapy.In control the development of existing disease(n Z 174),59 diseases were involved.Based on the number of RCTs and sample sizes,diseases including type 2 diabetes mellitus,primary hypertension,nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,and hyperlipoproteinemia accounted for 51.15%of the total patients studied.Drug therapy as an intervention was frequently used.In preventing recurrence after recovery(n Z 7),over 4 kinds of health status in participants were involved.Drug therapy combined with health care was mostly used.Most RCTs reported positive outcomes,with only one reporting negative findings(1/240).Conclusion:The number of RCTs of constitutional adjustment on preventive treatment of disease has gradually increased since 2012.Participants and intervention measures from the above-mentioned types of RCTs exhibit their own characteristics.Future systematic reviews or meta-analyses on constitutional adjustment for preventive treatment of disease are warranted. | Wenjun Yu Shenglou Ni Qianru Li Mingyue Ma Ya’nan Peng Weidong Yu Hua Jin Pengting Zhang Qi Wang | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2019,6,3: | 0 |
| 17 | Singlet relaxation dynamics and long triplet lifetimes of thiophene-coupled perylene diimides dyads:New insights for high efficiency organic solar cells显示文摘In the active layer of organic solar cells(OSCs),the lifetime of triplet excitons is one of the decisive factors in the diffusion length and therefore has important impact on the power conversion efficiency of the devices.Herein,we have investigated singlet excited state relaxation dynamics and their triplet exciton lifetimes of two thiophene-coupled perylene diimides(PDI)dyads(2 PDI-Th and fused-2 PDI-Th),in order to provide a unique explanation in depth on their different performances in OSC devices.From the transient absorption(TA)spectra,the singlet excitons of 2 PDI-Th form excimers in the time scale of 1.5 ps.Then the excimers go into the triplet state via intersystem crossing(ISC).In fused-2 PDI-Th,triplet excitons are generated directly from the singlet excited excitons via the efficient ISC.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations further support the formation of excimers.DFT results indicate that 2 PDI-Th exhibits an H-typed molecular configuration which is beneficial to form the excimers,while fused-2 PDITh gives a twisted X-shaped configuration in the optimized ground and excited state.In steady-state emission spectra,2 PDI-Th shows abroad and featureless spectral characteristics of the excimers with a decay time of 840 ps,which is much shorter than those of PDI(5.5 ns)and fused-2 PDI-Th(3.3 ns).The triplet lifetime(67 ms)of fused-2 PDI-Th is factor of 3 longer than that of 2 PDI-Th(22 ms).These results demonstrate that ring-fused structure is an efficient strategy to eliminate excimer formation and prolong the lifetime of triplet excitons,which provides a new insight for design of optoelectronic molecules for high efficiency organic solar cells. | Qingxuan Fan Wenjun Ni Lingcheng Chen Gagik G.Gurzadyan Yi Xiao | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,11: | 0 |
