| 1 | Mitigating end effects of EMD using non-equidistance grey model显示文摘Aiming at mitigating end effects of empirical mode decomposition (EMD), a new approach motivated by the nonequidistance grey model (NGM) termed as NGM(1,1) is proposed. Other than trapezoid formulas, the cubic Hermite spline is put forward to improve the accuracy of derivative to the accumulated generating operation (AGO) series. Hopefully, it is worth stressing that the proposed NGM(1,1) model is particularly useful for predicting uncertainty data. Qualitative and quantitative comparisons between the proposed approach and other well-known algorithms are carried out through computer simulations on synthetic as well as natural signals. | 2 | Feature analysis of acoustic emission sources for rail crack detection by the finite element method显示文摘The safety of rail is very important for the development of high speed railway,and it is necessary to investigate the features of inner cracks in rail.In order to obtain the features of Acoustic Emission(AE)sources of inner cracks in rail,AE sources with different types,depths and propagation distances are examined for crack in rail.The finite element method is utilized to model the rail with cracks and the results of experiment demonstrate the effectiveness of this model.Wavelet transform and Rayleigh-Lamb equations are utilized to extract the features of crack AE sources.The results illustrate that the intensity ratio among AE modes can identify the AE source types and the AE sources with different frequencies in rail.There are uniform AE mode features existing in the AE signals from AE sources in rail web,however AE signals from AE sources in rail head and rail base have the complex and unstable AE modes.Different AE source types have the different propagation features in rail.It is helpful to understand the rail cracks and detect the rail cracks based on the AE technique. | ZHANG Xin FENG Naizhang WANG Yan SHEN Yi | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,3: | 3 |
| 3 | Modified MUSIC estimation for correlated signals with compressive sampling arrays显示文摘This paper addresses the issue of the direction of arrival(DOA) estimation under the compressive sampling(CS) framework. A novel approach, modified multiple signal classification(MMUSIC) based on the CS array(CSA-MMUSIC), is proposed to resolve the DOA estimation of correlated signals and two closely adjacent signals. By using two random CS matrices, a large size array is compressed into a small size array, which effectively reduces the number of the front end circuit. The theoretical analysis demonstrates that the proposed approach has the advantages of low computational complexity and hardware structure compared to other MMUSIC approaches.
