2On a nonlinear elliptic problem with critical potential in R^2显示文摘Consider the existence of nontrivial solutions of homogeneous Dirichlet problem for a nonlinear elliptic equation with the critical potential in R2. By establishing a weighted inequality with the best constant, determine the critical potential in R2, and study the eigenvalues of Laplace equation with the critical potential. By the Pohozaev identity of a solution with a singular point and the Cauchy-Kovalevskaya theorem, obtain the nonexistence result of solutions with singular points to the nonlinear elliptic equation. 5Inflammasomes as therapeutic targets in human diseases显示文摘Inflammasomes are protein complexes of the innate immune system that initiate inflammation in response to either exogenous pathogens or endogenous danger signals.Inflammasome multiprotein complexes are composed of three parts:a sensor protein,an adaptor,and pro-caspase-1.Activation of the inflammasome leads to the activation of caspase-1,which cleaves pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-ip and IL-18,leading to pyroptosis.Effectors of the inflammasome not only provide protection against infectious pathogens,but also mediate control over sterile insults.Aberrant inflammasome signaling has been implicated in the development of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases,cancer,and neurodegenerative disorders.Here,we review the role of the inflammasome as a double-edged sword in various diseases,and the outcomes can be either good or bad depending on the disease,as well as the genetic background.We highlight inflammasome memory and the two-shot activation process.We also propose the M-and N-type inflammation model,and discuss how the inflammasome pathway may be targeted for the development of novel therapy.Yangxin Li Hui Huang Bin Liu Yu Zhang Xiangbin Pan Xi-Yong Yu Zhenya Shen Yao-Hua Song 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8:3
6Bioinformatic analysis for potential biological processes and key targets of heart failure-related stroke显示文摘This study aimed to uncover underlying mechanisms and promising intervention targets of heart failure(HF)-related stroke.HF-related dataset GSE42955 and stroke-related dataset GSE58294 were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database.Weighted gene co-expression network analysis(WGCNA)was conducted to identify key modules and hub genes.Gene Ontology(GO)and pathway enrichment analyses were performed on genes in the key modules.Genes in HF-and stroke-related key modules were intersected to obtain common genes for HF-related stroke,which were further intersected with hub genes of stroke-related key modules to obtain key genes in HF-related stroke.Key genes were functionally annotated through GO in the Reactome and Cytoscape databases.Finally,key genes were validated in these two datasets and other datasets.HF-and stroke-related datasets each identified two key modules.Functional enrichment analysis indicated that protein ubiquitination,Wnt signaling,and exosomes were involved in both HF-and stroke-related key modules.Additionally,ten hub genes were identified in stroke-related key modules and 155 genes were identified as common genes in HF-related stroke.OTU deubiquitinase with linear linkage specificity(OTULIN)and nuclear factor interleukin 3-regulated(NFIL3)were determined to be the key genes in HF-related stroke.Through functional annotation,OTULIN was involved in protein ubiquitination and Wnt signaling,and NFIL3 was involved in DNA binding and transcription.Importantly,OTULIN and NFIL3 were also validated to be differentially expressed in all HF and stroke groups.Protein ubiquitination,Wnt signaling,and exosomes were involved in HF-related stroke.OTULIN and NFIL3 may play a key role in HF-related stroke through regulating these processes,and thus serve as promising intervention targets.Chiyu LIU Sixu CHEN Haifeng ZHANG Yangxin CHEN Qingyuan GAO Zhiteng CHEN Zhaoyu LIU Jingfeng WANG 2021Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2021,22,9:3

8DENSITY FUNCTIONAL FOR STRUCTURES OF COLLOIDS CONFINED IN A SLIT-LIKE PORE显示文摘A density functional theory is applied to calculating the local density profiles of colloids confined in a slit-like pore as well as the radial distribution functions of bulk colloids. The interaction between the colloidal particles is described using a hard-core Yukawa model. The excess Helmholtz energy functional is a combination of the modified fundamental measure theory of Yu and Wu (2002) for the hard-core contribution and a corrected mean-field theory for the attractive contribution. Comparison with the results from the Monte Carlo simulations shows that the corrected theory improves the density profiles of colloids in the vicinity of contact over the original mean-field theory. 9Ni(OH)_2-Ni/C for hydrogen oxidation reaction in alkaline media显示文摘The development of the hydrogen electrode is vital for the application of alkaline polymer electrolyte fuel cells(APEFCs).In this study,a series of Ni(OH)_2 decorated Ni/C catalysts(Ni(OH)_2-Ni/C) were prepared by a three-step electrochemical treatment of Ni/C.The existence of Ni(OH)_2 was demonstrated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),and the surface molar ratio of Ni(OH)_2/Ni of the samples was estimated via an electrochemical method.The HOR catalytic activity of the catalysts was evaluated by a rotation disk electrode(RDE) method,and a 'volcano plot' was established between the HOR exchange current(j0) and the surface molar ratio of Ni(OH)_2/Ni.On top of the 'volcano',the surface molar ratio of Ni(OH)_2/Ni is1.1:1,the j0 of which was 6.8 times of that of Ni/C.The stability of the samples toward HOR was evaluated to be good.Our study added a systematic experimental evidence to the HOR research,showing that the HOR catalytic activity of Ni can be deliberately controlled via decoration of Ni(OH)_2,which may help understanding the HOR mechanism on Ni.Yangxin Pan Gaohe Hu Juntao Lu Li Xiao Lin Zhuang 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,2:2

11Effective femtosecond laser shock peening on a Mg-3Gd alloy at low pulse energy 430 μJ of 1 kHz显示文摘In this paper,microstructure evolution and hardness of Mg-3 Gd alloy treated by femtosecond(fs)laser shock peening(LSP)with direct and confined ablation m odes were investigated in detail.Under a relatively low pulse energy of 430μJ with a repetition of 1 kHz,the surface hardness of sample has been enhanced by 70%effectively.Comp a r e d with ns-LSP with pulse fluence of 71.7J/cm2,fs-LSP with pulse fluence of 34.2 J/cm2 is superior in the hardness increment,both of which are in the same order of magnitude.A distinct grain refinement of surface layer has been discovered and results in the increase of hardness.Nonuse of absorption and confining layers and the employment of the industry commercial fs laser with high repetition can inspire big potential L S P application in special metal material.©2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.on behalf of Chongqing University.Chenghao Lu Licheng Ge Bing Zhu Yangxin Li Xianfeng Chen Xiaoqin Zeng Yuping Chen 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,3:2

19Simulation study on dynamics of A- to B-form transition in aqueous DNA solution:Effect of alkali metal counterions显示文摘DNA and its conformational transition can be used to design nanometer-scale structures,nano-tweezers and nanomechanical devices.Experiments and molecular simulations have been used to study the concentration effect on the A-DNA→B-DNA conformational transition,but a systematical investigation on counterion effect on the dynamics of this transition has not been reported up to now.In present work,restrained and unrestrained molecular dynamics(MD)simulations have been performed to characterize the stability of DNA conformations and the dynamics of A-DNA→B-DNA transitions in aqueous solutions with different alkali metal counterions.The DNA duplex d(CGCGAATTCGCG)2,coion Cl and counterions Li+,Na+,K+,Rb+and Cs+as well as water molecule were considered using the PARM99 force field in the AMBER8 package.It was found that B-form DNA is more stable than A-form DNA in aqueous electrolyte solutions with different alkali metal counterions.Increasing KCl concentration in solution hinders the A-DNA→B-DNA transition and the transition times for different alkali metal counterions conform to neither the simple sequence related to naked ion size nor to hydrated diameter,but an apparently abnormal sequence of K+YU YangXin FUJIMOTO Shintaro 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,12:1
