| 1 | NEURO-COGNITIVE MECHANISMS UNDERLYING THE EMOTIONAL MODULATION OF WORD READING显示文摘A novel neural model for emotional modulation of word reading is proposed. This model has four principal hypotheses: the dominant activa-tion region hypothesis, the emotional modulation hypothesis, the attentional level hypothesis, and the interaction hypothesis. | 3 | Weapons equipment portfolios selection based on equipment system contribution rates显示文摘Equipment selection is an essential work in the research and development planning of equipment.The scientific and rational development of weapons equipment portfolios is of considerable significance to the optimization of equipment architecture design,the adequate resources allocation,and the joint combat performance.From the system view,this paper proposes a method of weapons equipment portfolios selection(WEPS)based on the contribution rate of weapon systems,providing a new idea for weapon equipment portfolio selection.Firstly,we analyze the WEPS problem and the concept of the contribution rate under the systems background.Secondly,we propose a combat network modeling method for weapon equipment systems based on the function chain.Thirdly,we propose a WEPS method based on the contribution rate,fully considering the correlation relationships between potential weapons and the old weapon systems by the combat network model,under the limitation of capability demands and budget resources,with the objective to maximally increasing the combat ability of weapon systems.Finally,we make a case study with a specific WEPS problem where the whole calculation processes and results are analyzed and exhibited to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method model. | LIU Peng LI Jichao XIA Boyuan ZHAO Danling TAN Yuejin | 2021 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,3: | 3 |

| 11 | Interaction between semantic and phonological processes in stuttering Evidence from the dual-task paradigm显示文摘Stuttering is a common neurological deficit and its underlying cognitive mechanisms are a matter of debate,with evidence suggesting abnormal modulation between speech encoding and other cognitive components.Previous studies have mainly used single task experiments to investigate the disturbance of language production.It is unclear whether there is abnormal interaction between the three language tasks (orthographic,phonological and semantic judgment) in stuttering patients.This study used dual tasks and manipulated the stimulus onset asynchrony (SOA) between tasks 1 and 2 and the nature of the second task,including orthographic,phonological,and semantic judgments.The results showed that the performance records of orthographic judgment,phonological judgment,and semantic judgment were significantly reduced between the patient and control groups with short SOA (P < 0.05).However,different patterns of interaction between task 2 and SOA were observed across subject groups: subjects with stuttering were more strongly modulated by SOA when the second task was semantic judgment or phonological judgment (P < 0.05),but not in the orthographic judgment experiment (P > 0.05).These results indicated that the interaction mechanism between semantic processing and phonological encoding might be an underlying cause for stuttering. | Luping Song Danling Peng Nlng Nlng | 2010 | Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,18: | 0 |
| 12 | Personality and neurochemicals in the human brain:A preliminary study using^(1)H MRS显示文摘To investigate the neuro-biological bases of introversion-extraversion personality traits, the concentra- tion of four neurochemicals (Cho, mI, α-Glx and NAA) in anterior cigulate gyrus between normal extroverts and in- troverts were examined using non-invasive 1H MRS tech- nique. Our study revealed that introverts have significantly higher level of α-Glx, Cho and mI in the anterior cingulate gyrus than extroverts. This result provides new evidence that the anterior cingulate gyrus is related to personality traits partly in support of Eysenck’s supposition that introverts have higher arousal level than extroverts. | 13 | Neural correlates of short-term perceptual learning in orientation discrimination indexed by event-related potentials显示文摘The current work investigated the neural correlates of visual perceptual learning in grating orientation discrimination by recording event-related potentials (ERPs) from human adults. Subjects were trained with a discrimination task of grating orientation in three consecutive training sessions within 2 h. While reaction times (RTs) were shortened gradually across training sessions, the N1 was decreased and the P2 was increased over the parietal and occipital areas. A broadly distributed P3 was increased along with more practices. In addition, the time course of learning reflected in the P2 and P3 amplitudes was in line with the changes of reaction times and exhibited a stable level during later training. | 14 | An improved exponential filter for fast nonlinear registration of brain magnetic resonance images显示文摘A linear elastic convolution filter was derived from the eigenfunctions of the Navier-Stokes differential operator by Bro-Nielsen in order to match images with large deformations. Due to the complexity of constructing the elastic convolution filter, the algorithm's efficiency reduces rapidly with the increase in the image's size. In our previous work, a simple two-sided exponential filter with high efficiency was proposed to approximate an elastic filter. However, its poor smoothness may degenerate the performance. In this paper, a new exponential filter was constructed by utilizing a modified nonlinear curve fitting method to approximate the elastic filter. The new filter's good smoothness makes its performance comparable to an elastic filter. Its simple and separable form makes the algorithm's speed faster than the elastic filter.
