| 2 | Estimation and prediction of plastic waste annual input into the sea from China显示文摘Marine plastic debris has been a pervasive issue since the last century, and research on its sources and fates plays a vital role in the establishment of mitigation measures. However, data on the quantity of plastic waste that enters the sea on a certain timescale remain largely unavailable in China. Here, we established a model using material flow analysis method based on life cycle assessment to follow plastic product from primary plastic to plastic waste with statistical data and monitoring data from accurate sources. This model can be used to estimate and forecast the annual input of plastic waste into the sea from China until 2020. In 2011, 0.547 3–0.751 5 million tons of plastic waste entered the seas in China, with a growth rate of 4.55% per year until 2017. And the amount will decrease to0.257 1 to 0.353 1 million tons in 2020 under the influence of governmental management. | 3 | Highly stable lead-free Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanoplates for photodetection applications显示文摘Lead halide perovskites have received tremendous attentions recently for their excellent properties such as high light absorption coefficient and long charge carrier diffusion length. However, the stability issues and the existence of toxic lead cations have largely limited their applications in optoelectronic area. Herein, we report the synthesis and investigation of highly stable and lead-free Cs3Bi2I9 perovskite nanoplates for visible light photodetection applications. The Cs3Bi2I9 nanoplates were synthesized through a facile solution-processed method, which is also applicable to various substrates. The achieved nanoplates present very good crystal quality and exhibit excellent long-term stability even exposed in moist air for several months. Photodetectors were constructed based on these high-quality perovskite nanoplates for the first time, and display a maximum photoresponsivity of 33.1 mA/W under the illumination of 450 nm laser, which is six times higher than the solution-synthesized CH3NH3PbI3 nanowire photodetectors. The specific detectivity of these devices can reach up to 10^10 Jones. Additionally, the devices exhibit fast rise and decay time of 10.2 and 37.2 ms, respectively, and highly stable photoswitching behavior with their photoresponse well retaining under alternating light and darkness. | 4 | Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)in Chinese narcissus and its use in functional analysis of NtMYB3显示文摘Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)is a natural defense mechanism of plants,which can cause sequence-specific degradation of viral RNA and is often used for studying the functional genome.At present,the VIGS system mediated by Tobacco rattle virus(TRV)has been successfully established in many plant species.However,the VIGS system in Chinese narcissus had not been reported yet.In this paper,the first use of the TRV-VIGS system in Chinese narcissus is described in detail.By injecting pTRV2-GFP into narcissus leaves,we confirmed that TRV could infect narcissus and move in narcissus plants.After the inoculation of pTRV2-Nt PDS by two methods,phenomena such as photo-bleaching appeared in narcissus leaves and qRT-PCR results proved that PDS gene of narcissus was successfully silenced.Besides,pTRV2-NtMYB3 was inoculated into basal plates of narcissus to study the function of NtMYB3;the results showed that NtMYB3 is an inhibitor of flavonoids biosynthesis,which can increase the content of proanthocyanidins in basal plates of narcissus by repressing the expression level of NtFLS.These results indicate that the TRV-VIGS system has been successfully established in Chinese narcissus and successfully applied to the functional study of NtMYB3. | Ping Zhou Jiayu Peng Minjie Zeng Lixuan Wu Yuxin Fan Lihui Zeng | 2021 | Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,6: | 4 |
| 5 | Experimental and simulation of the reactive dividing wall column based on ethyl acetate synthesis显示文摘Reactive dividing wall column(RDWC) is a highly integrated unit which combines reaction distillation(RD) with dividing wall column separation technology into one shell, and it realized the chemical reaction and the separation of multiple product fractions simultaneously. In this paper, the reaction of esterification with acetic acid and ethanol to produce ethyl acetate was used as the research system, experiments and simulations of the RDWC were carried out. This system in the traditional process mostly used the homogeneous catalyst(e.g. sulfuric acid). However, in view of the corrosion of the equipment caused by the acidity of the catalyst, we used the heterogeneous catalysts – iron exchange resins – Amberlyst15 and proposed a novel catalyst loading method. Firstly,the reliability of the model of the simulation was verified by the experimental study on the change of liquid split ratio and reflux ratio. After that, the four-column model was established in Aspen Plus to analyze the effects of the amount of azeotropic agent, reflux ratio and acetic acid concentration. Finally, for a fair comparison, the economic analysis was conducted between traditional RD column and RDWC. | 6 | AaWRKY17, a positive regulator of artemisinin biosynthesis, is involved in resistance to Pseudomonas syringae in Artemisia annua显示文摘Artemisia annua,a traditional Chinese medicinal plant,remains the only plant source for artemisinin production,yet few genes have been identified to be involved in both the response to biotic stresses,such as pathogens,and artemisinin biosynthesis.Here,we isolated and identified the WRKY transcription factor(TF)AaWRKY17,which could significantly increase the artemisinin content and resistance to Pseudomonas syringae in A.annua.Yeast one-hybrid(Y1H),dual-luciferase(dual-LUC),and electrophoretic mobility shift assay(EMSA)results showed that AaWRKY17 directly bound to the W-box motifs in the promoter region of the artemisinin biosynthetic pathway gene amorpha-4,11-diene synthase(ADS)and promoted its expression.Real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)analysis revealed that the transcript levels of two defense marker genes,Pathogenesis-Related 5(PR5)and NDR1/HIN1-LIKE 10(NHL10),were greatly increased in AaWRKY17-overexpressing transgenic A.annua plants.Additionally,overexpression of AaWRKY17 in A.annua resulted in decreased susceptibility to P.syringae.These results indicated that AaWRKY17 acted as a positive regulator in response to P.syringae infection.Together,our findings demonstrated that the novel WRKY transcription factor AaWRKY17 could potentially be used in transgenic breeding to improve the content of artemisinin and pathogen tolerance in A.annua. | Tiantian Chen Yongpeng Li Lihui Xie Xiaolong Hao Hang Liu Wei Qin Chen Wang Xin Yan Kuanyu Wu-Zhang Xinghao Yao Bowen Peng Yaojie Zhang Xueqing Fu Ling Li Kexuan Tang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 2 |
| 7 | Y_(2)O_(3)modification on nickel-rich LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)with improved electrochemical performance in lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Doping and coating are frequently employed for the improvement of the properties of Ni-rich NCM materials.In this work,we prepared stable LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)materials modified withY_(2)O_(3)via a wet chemical method.In order to investigate the action mechanism ofY_(2)O_(3)on NCM811,we analyzed the micro structures using X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Also,to study the electrochemical performances,we conducted a charge/discharge test and cyclic voltammetry.Our results show thatY_(2)O_(3)modified NCM811 materials have good thermal stability,and proper content ofY_(2)O_(3)can effectively prevent the materials from damaging and significantly improve the electrochemical properties of the materials.Particularly,1%Y2 O3 modified NCM811 material show much better cycling performance than other samples.During cycling at 1.0 C the 1%Y2 O3 modified NCM811 shows capacity retention of 90.1%after 100 cycles,which is higher than 69.4%for pristine NMC811.We examined the microstructures of the materials before and after circulation.Using the SEM results,we conclude that structural changes are among the key factors that lead to the degradation of the electrochemical properties of materials. | Rui He Xue Bai Aijia Wei Lihui Zhang Peng Liu Zhenfa Liu | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,2: | 2 |
