2Synthesis and characterization of NaYF4:Yb3+,Er3+@silica-N=folic acid nanocomplex for bioimaginable detecting MCF-7 breast cancer cells显示文摘Upconversion nanophosphors are new promising nanomaterials to be used as biolabels for detection and imaging of cancer cells.These nanophosphors absorb long-wavelength excitation radiation in the infrared or near infrared region and emit shorter wavelength,higher energy radiation from ultraviolet to infrared.In this paper,we studied the hydrothermal method and optical properties of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+for biomedical application.After synthesis,these NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+nanophosphors were functionalized with aminosilanes and folic acid.Folic acid binds to the folate receptor on the surface of MCF-7 breast cancer cells and this binding promotes internalization of the nanophosphors via endocytosis.The sizes of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA(folic acid)nanophosphors can be controlled with length of the rod about 300-800 nm and diameter of the rod about 100-200 nm.Phase structure of NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+is in hexagonal crystal system.The photo luminescence(PL)spectra of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA nanophosphors were measured.These nanophosphors emit in red color with the strongest band at 650 nm under 980 nm excitation.This result can provide NaYF4:Er^3+,Yb^3+@silica-N=FA complex for developing fluorescence label and image tool in cancer biology and medicine.Ha Thi Phuong Tran Thu Huong Le Thi Vinh Hoang Thi Khuyen Do Thi Thao Nguyen Thanh Huong Pham Thi Lien Le Quoc Minh 2019Journal of Rare Earths2019,37,11:5
3Xanthine oxidase inhibitors from Archidendron clypearia(Jack.) I.C. Nielsen: Results from systematic screening of Vietnamese medicinal plants显示文摘Objective: To screen Vietnamese medicinal plants for xanthine oxidase(XO) inhibitory activity and to isolate XO inhibitor(s) from the most active plant. Methods: The plants materials were extracted by methanol. The active plant materials were fractionated using different organic solvents, including n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and n-butanol. Bioassay-guided fractionation and column chromatography were used to isolate compounds. The compounds structures were elucidated by analysis of spectroscopic data, including IR, MS, and NMR. Results: Three hundreds and eleven methanol extracts(CME) belonging to 301 Vietnamese herbs were screened for XO inhibitory activity. Among these plants, 57 extracts displayed XO inhibitory activity at 100 μg/m L with inhibition rates of over 50%. The extracts of Archidendron clypearia, Smilax poilanei, Linociera ramiflora and Passiflora foetida exhibited the greatest potency with IC_(50) values below 30 μg/m L. Chemical study performed on the extract of Archidendron clypearia resulted in the isolation of six compounds, including 1-octacosanol, docosenoic acid, daucosterol, methyl gallate, quercitrin and(-)-7-O-galloyltricetiflavan. The compound(-)-7-O-galloyltricetiflavan showed the most potent XO inhibitory activity with an IC_(50) value of 25.5 μmol/L. Conclusions: From this investigation, four Vietnamese medicinal plants were identified to have XO inhibitory effects with IC_(50) values of the methanol extracts below 30 μg/m L. 4灌草对胖大海种群更新幼树幼苗密度的影响显示文摘通过对越南同奈天然文化自然保护区天然阔叶和半落叶林中灌木高度和盖度以及草本盖度对胖大海幼树幼苗密度大小影响的研究,探讨灌木草本对胖大海种群更新及其可持续发展的影响。结果表明:灌木盖度对胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度有显著影响,在3个优势度等级林分随着灌木盖度的逐渐增加,胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度呈单调下降,灌木高度与胖大海幼树幼苗密度的回归关系符合模型:y=a+bx+cx^2;不同灌木盖度和高度等级与胖大海更新幼树幼苗密度呈显著相关,优势度一级和二级林分中灌木高度在300~400 cm且盖度<40%,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为2 500~3 000株/hm^2;当灌木高度<200 cm且其盖度在70%以上时,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为500~1 000株/hm^2;优势度三级林分中灌木高度300~400 cm和盖度<40%时,胖大海幼树幼苗密度为3 000~4 000株/hm2;胖大海幼树幼苗密度随着草本盖度的增加而逐渐下降,3个优势度等级林分胖大海幼树幼苗密度和草本盖度的回归模型为:y=a×exp(-bx);胖大海幼树幼苗更新密度受草本盖度和灌木盖度因素综合作用影响,回归关系符合模型:y=a+b_1x_1+b_2x_2+c_1x_1~2+c_2x_2~2+dx_1x_2,灌木盖度低等级和草本盖度<30%,幼树幼苗密度最高值为2 500~3 000株/hm^2,灌木盖度增高和草本盖度为80%以上,密度为500株/hm^2以下,灌木草本盖度增加以及灌木高度较低不利于胖大海幼树幼苗的更新。因此,胖大海天然更新培育或人工林经营中,应注意清除灌木、草本,为胖大海幼树幼苗生长提供适宜的环境,促进胖大海幼树幼苗存活与生长。Pham Van Huong 陈昌雄 张巧巧 Hoang Van Tung 范先明 Nguyen Huu Duy 2016西南林业大学学报(自然科学)2016,36,4:5

6Univector field method-based multi-agent navigation for pursuit problem in obstacle environments显示文摘The pursuit problem is a well-known problem in computer science. In this problem, a group of predator agents attempt to capture a prey agent in an environment with various obstacle types, partial observation, and an infinite grid-world. Predator agents are applied algorithms that use the univector field method to reach the prey agent, strategies for avoiding obstacles and strategies for cooperation between predator agents. Obstacle avoidance strategies are generalized and presented through strategies called hitting and following boundary(HFB); trapped and following shortest path(TFSP); and predicted and following shortest path(PFSP). In terms of cooperation, cooperation strategies are employed to more quickly reach and capture the prey agent. 7Indications for and techniques of keratoplasty at Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology显示文摘AIM:To report the indications for and techniques of corneal transplantation at Vietnam National Institute of Ophthalmology(VNIO) over a period of 12y(2002-2013).· METHODS:Records of patients who had undergone corneal transplantation at VNIO from January 1,2002 to January 1,2014 were reviewed to determine the indication for and type of corneal transplant performed.Patient age,gender,indication for corneal transplantation and surgical technique were recorded and analyzed.· RESULTS:Corneal transplantation were underwent in1390 eyes of 1278 patients with a mean age of 44.9±18.1y during the period under review.The most common indication was infectious corneal ulcer(n =670;48.2%),followed by corneal scar(n =333,24.0%),corneal dystrophy(n=138,9.9%) and failed graft(n=112,8.1%).Nearly all procedures performed were penetrating keratoplasty(n=1300,93.5%),with a few lamellar keratoplasty procedures performed:lamellar keratoplasty(n=52,3.7%),Descemet's stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty(n =27,1.9%) and deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty(n =11,0.8%).· CONCLUSION:While the most common indication for keratoplasty was infectious keratitis,nearly all indications for corneal transplantation were managed with penetrating keratoplasty.However,lamellar keratoplasty techniques,including deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty and Descemet's stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty,are being performed with increasing frequency for isolated stromal and endothelial disorders,respectively.Pham Ngoc Dong Truong Nhu Han Anthony J.Aldave Hoang Thi Minh Chau 2016International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2016,9,3:3
8Stock-Price Forecasting Based on XGBoost and LSTM显示文摘Using time-series data analysis for stock-price forecasting(SPF)is complex and challenging because many factors can influence stock prices(e.g.,inflation,seasonality,economic policy,societal behaviors).Such factors can be analyzed over time for SPF.Machine learning and deep learning have been shown to obtain better forecasts of stock prices than traditional approaches.This study,therefore,proposed a method to enhance the performance of an SPF system based on advanced machine learning and deep learning approaches.First,we applied extreme gradient boosting as a feature-selection technique to extract important features from high-dimensional time-series data and remove redundant features.Then,we fed selected features into a deep long short-term memory(LSTM)network to forecast stock prices.The deep LSTM network was used to reflect the temporal nature of the input time series and fully exploit future con-textual information.The complex structure enables this network to capture more stochasticity within the stock price.The method does not change when applied to stock data or Forex data.Experimental results based on a Forex dataset covering 2008–2018 showed that our approach outperformed the baseline autoregressive integrated moving average approach with regard to mean absolute error,mean squared error,and root-mean-square error.Pham Hoang Vuong Trinh Tan Dat Tieu Khoi Mai Pham Hoang Uyen Pham The Bao 2022Computer Systems Science & Engineering2022,40,1:2
9Development of a PARCS/Serpent model for neutronics analysis of the Dalat nuclear research reactor显示文摘Cross-sectional homogenization for full-core calculations of small and complex reactor configurations,such as research reactors,has been recently recognized as an interesting and challenging topic.This paper presents the development of a PARCS/Serpent model for the neutronics analysis of a research reactor type TRIGA Mark-II loaded with Russian VVR-M2 fuel(known as the Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor or DNRR).The full-scale DNRR model and a supercell model for a shim/safety rod and its surrounding fuel bundles with the Monte Carlo code Serpent 2 were proposed to generate homogenized fewgroup cross sections for full-core diffusion calculations with PARCS.The full-scale DNRR model with Serpent 2 was also utilized as a reference to verify the PARCS/Serpent calculations.Comparison of the effective neutron multiplication factors,radial and axial core power distributions,and control rod worths showed a generally good agreement between PARCS and Serpent 2.In addition,the discrepancies between the PARCS and Serpent 2 results are also discussed.Consequently,the results indicate the applicability of the PARCS/Serpent model for further steady state and transient analyses of the DNRR.Viet-Phu Tran Kien-Cuong Nguyen Donny Hartanto Hoai-Nam Tran Vinh Thanh Tran Van-Khanh Hoang Pham Nhu Viet Ha 2021Nuclear Science and Techniques2021,32,2:2

11Locally weighted learning based hybrid intelligence models for groundwater potential mapping and modeling: A case study at Gia Lai province, Vietnam显示文摘The groundwater potential map is an important tool for a sustainable water management and land use planning,particularly for agricultural countries like Vietnam.In this article,we proposed new machine learning ensemble techniques namely AdaBoost ensemble(ABLWL),Bagging ensemble(BLWL),Multi Boost ensemble(MBLWL),Rotation Forest ensemble(RFLWL)with Locally Weighted Learning(LWL)algorithm as a base classifier to build the groundwater potential map of Gia Lai province in Vietnam.For this study,eleven conditioning factors(aspect,altitude,curvature,slope,Stream Transport Index(STI),Topographic Wetness Index(TWI),soil,geology,river density,rainfall,land-use)and 134 wells yield data was used to create training(70%)and testing(30%)datasets for the development and validation of the models.Several statistical indices were used namely Positive Predictive Value(PPV),Negative Predictive Value(NPV),Sensitivity(SST),Specificity(SPF),Accuracy(ACC),Kappa,and Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)curve to validate and compare performance of models.Results show that performance of all the models is good to very good(AUC:0.75 to 0.829)but the ABLWL model with AUC=0.89 is the best.All the models applied in this study can support decision-makers to streamline the management of the groundwater and to develop economy not only of specific territories but also in other regions across the world with minor changes of the input parameters.Hoang Phan Hai Yen Binh Thai Pham Tran Van Phong Duong Hai Ha Romulus Costache Hiep Van Le Huu Duy Nguyen Mahdis Amiri Nguyen Van Tao Indra Prakash 2021Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,5:1
