1Solving SAT problem by heuristic polarity decision-making algorithm显示文摘This paper presents a heuristic polarity decision-making algorithm for solving Boolean satisfiability (SAT). The algorithm inherits many features of the current state-of-the-art SAT solvers, such as fast BCP, clause recording, restarts, etc. In addition, a preconditioning step that calculates the polarities of variables according to the cover distribution of Karnaugh map is introduced into DPLL procedure, which greatly reduces the number of conflicts in the search process. The proposed approach is implemented as a SAT solver named DiffSat. Experiments show that DiffSat can solve many 'real-life' instances in a reasonable time while the best existing SAT solvers, such as Zchaff and MiniSat, cannot. In particular, DiffSat can solve every instance of Bart benchmark suite in less than 0.03 s while Zchaff and MiniSat fail under a 900 s time limit. 7Kinetics and mechanistic study of n-alkane hydroisomerization reaction on Pt-doped g-alumina catalyst显示文摘The catalysts g-alumina(GA,the reference catalyst)and Pt doped g-alumina(PGA-s)were synthesized using a simple sol-gel technique,in which at first preparation of porous base(GA),then impregnation of platinum salt over the base and finally reduction of platinum in the surface of the support were done.These catalysts prepared in different mole ratios of Pt:Al as 2:1,1:1 and 1:2 are named as PGA-1,PGA-2 and PGA-3 respectively.The isomerization of n-alkanes(n-hexane,nheptane and n-octane)were investigated over the synthesized catalysts.The 2-methyl pentane(2-MP),2,2-dimethyl pentane(2,2-DMP)and 2,3-dimethyl hexane(2,3-DMH)are the major products of respective isomerization of n-hexane,n-heptane and n-octane,besides a small amount of other branched isomers are also produced.The product distribution is comparable to that reported for Pt based other catalysts.The optimal mole ratios of Pt:Al is 1:1(PGA-2)gives quite good catalytic activity for isomerization of n-alkane.Even through in reusability study,PGA-2 gives better performance than others.We have mainly focused on kinetic study,reaction mechanism behind isomerization and calculated the order of reactions and activation energies of the isomerization reactions in the present work.Abhishek Dhar Rohit L.Vekariya Pushan Sharma 2017Petroleum2017,3,4:1

16Influence of laser surface remelting on microstructure and degradation mechanism in simulated body fluid of Zn-0.5Zr alloy显示文摘In this study,the Zn-0.5 wt%Zr(Zn-Zr)alloy was treated by laser surface remelting(LSR),and then the microstructure and degradation mechanism of the remelting layer were investigated and compared with the original as-cast alloy.The results reveal that after LSR,the bulky Zn(22)Zr phase in the original Zn-Zr alloy is dissolved and the coarse equiaxed grains transform into fine dendrites with a secondary dendrite arm space of about 100 nm.During the degradation process in simulated body fluid(SBF),the corrosion products usually concentrate at some certain areas in the original alloy,while the corrosion products distribute uniformly and loosely in the LSR-treated surface.After removing the corrosion products,it was found that the former suffers obvious pitting corrosion and then localized corrosion.The proposed mechanism is that corrosion initiates at grain boundaries and develops into the depth at some locations,and then leads to localized corrosion.For the LSR-treated sample,corrosion initiates at some active sites and propagates in all directions,corrosion takes place in the whole surface with distinctly uniform thickness reduction,while the localized corrosion and peeling of bulky Zn(22)Zr particles were eliminated.The electrochemical results also suggest the uniform corrosion of LSR-treated sample and localized corrosion of original sample.Based on the results,a new approach to regulate the corrosion mode of the biodegradable Zn alloy is proposed.Zheng Wang Qingke Zhang Robabeh Bagheri Pushan Guo Yirong Yao Lijing Yang Zhenlun Song 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,11:1

20A critical review of the emerging research on the detection and assessment of microplastics pollution in the coastal,marine,and urban Bangladesh显示文摘The research on the extent and effects of microplastics pollution in the Global South is only getting started.Bangladesh is a South Asian country with one of the fastest growing economies in the world,however,such exponential economic growth has also increased the pollution threats to its natural and urban environment.In this paper,we reviewed the recent primary research on the assessment of the extent of microplastics pollution in Bangladesh.Fromthe online databases,we developed a compilation of emergingresearch articles that detected and quantified microplastics in different coastal,marine,and urban environments in Bangladesh.Most of the studies focused on the coastal environment(e.g.,beach sediment)and marine fish,while limited data were available for the urban environment.We also discussed the relationship of the type of anthropogenic activities with the observed microplastic pollution.The Cox's Bazar sea beach in south-east Bangladesh experienced microplastics pollution due to tourism activities,while fishing and other anthropogenic activities led to microplastics pollution in the Bay of Bengal.While microplastics larger than 1 mm were prevalent in the beach sediments,smaller microplastics with size below 0.5 mm were prevalent in marine fish samples.Moreover,the differences m microplastic abundance,size,shape,color,and polymer type found were depended on the sampling sites and relevant anthropogenic activities.It is imperative to identify majorsources of microplastics pollution in both natural and urban environment,determine potential environmental and human health effects,and develop mitigating and prevention strategies for reducing microplastics pollution.Zaki Alam Pushan Ehsanur Rahman Nafisa Islam Nirupam Aich 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,10:0
