1Simultaneous adsorption of lead and cadmium on MnO_2-loaded resin显示文摘MnO2-loaded D301 weak basic anion exchange resin has been used as adsorbent to simultaneously remove lead and cadmium ions from aqueous solution.The effects of adsorbent dosage,solution pH and the coexistent ions on the adsorption were investigated.Experimental results showed that with the adsorbent dosage more than 0.6 g/L,both Pb 2+ and Cd2+ were simultaneously removed at pH range 5-6.Except for HPO 42+ ,the high concentration coexistent ions such as Na + ,K + ,Cl+ ,NO3-,SO42+ and HCO3-,showed no significant effect on the removal efficiency of both Pb2+ and Cd2+ under the experimental conditions.The coexistence of Mg2+ ,Ca2+ caused the reduction of Cd2+ removal,but not for Pb2+ .The adsorption equilibrium for Pb2+ and Cd 2+ could be excellently described by the Langmuir isotherm model with R2 > 0.99.The maximum adsorption capacity was calculated as 80.64 mg/g for Pb2+ and 21.45 mg/g for Cd2+ .The adsorption processes followed the pseudo first-order kinetics model.MnO2-loaded D301 resin has been shown to have a potential to be used as an effective adsorbent for simultaneous removal of lead and cadmium ions from aqueous solution.Lijing Dong,Zhiliang Zhu,Hongmei Ma,Yanling Qiu,Jianfu ZhaoState Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resource Reuse,Tongji University,Shanghai 200092,China 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,2:16

3Inclusion of the Eastern Asia endemic genus Sorolepidium in Polystichum (Dryopteridaceae):Evidence from the chloroplast rbcL gene and morphological characteristics显示文摘The taxonomic status of the Eastern Asia endemic Sorolepidium is controversial. Some authors accept it as member of the large diverse genus Polystichum, whereas others suggest that it is an independent genus separated from the later by the exindusiate sorus and the absence of aristate teeth at the pinnae margins. Here we infer phylogenetic relationship of Sorolepidium using DNA sequences of the chloro-plast rbcL gene. Phylogenies were inferred using maximum-parsimony, maximum-likelihood, and Bayesian inference methods. Molecular data establish that Sorolepidium is deeply nested within the large genus Polystichum and has a close relationship with P. duthiei and P. lachenense in the model-based analyses. The Kimura 2-parameter distances of the rbcL sequences between S. glaciale and P. duthiei and P. lachenense were 0.1 and 0.2%, respectively. Furthermore, S. glaciale differed from P. duthiei by a single nucleotide in their rbcL sequences. 5Facile synthesis of enzyme functional metal-organic framework for colorimetric detecting H_2O_2 and ascorbic acid显示文摘In this work,a metal-organic frameworks material MIL-88 was prepared easily using solvent-thermal method,and was first found to have catalytic activities similar to those of biological enzymes such as catalase and peroxidase.The material was characterized by XRD,SEM,TEM,EDX,FT-IR techniques and an N_2 adsorption method.It exhibited peroxidase-like activity through catalytic oxidation of the peroxidase substrate 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB) in the presence of H_2O_2,producing a blue-colored solution.Under optimal conditions,the absorbance at 652 nm is linearly correlated with the concentration of H_2O_2 from 2.0×10^(-6) mol/L to 2.03×10^(-5) mol/L(R^2=0.981) with a detection limit of 5.62×10^(-7) mol/L(S/N=3).More importantly,a sensitive and selective method for ascorbic acid detection was developed using this material as a catalyst.The analytical method for ascorbic acid detection was observed to have a linear range from 2.57×10^(-6) mol/L to 1.01×10^(-5) mol/L(R^2=0.989) with a detection limit of 1.03×10^(-6) mol/L(S/N=3).This work suggests MOFs have advantages of preparing biomimetic catalysts and extends applications of the functional MOFs in the field of biosensor.Cunji Gao Hongmei Zhu Jia Chen Hongdeng Qiu 2017Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,5:5
6Solution evaporation processed high quality perovskite films显示文摘Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs), due to their high power conversion efficiency(PCE) and low cost, have been considered as one of the most promising photovoltaic devices. Welldistributed large-grain perovskite crystals play an important role for light adsorption and charge transfer.While, high quality perovskite crystals closely relate to the preparation method. Generally, the preparation of perovskite films requires a nitrogen atmosphere and toxic anti-solvents, which hinder their practical applications. Here, we reported a novel and simple solution evaporation process followed with a methylammonium iodide(MAI) solution immersion to prepare high quality perovskite films. Porous lead iodide(PbI_2) films were firstly formed by evaporation of PbI_2 precursor solution. The obtained porous PbI_2 films were completely transformed into well-distributed large-grain perovskite films after a quick MAI solution immersion. As a result, the corresponding PCE was enhanced by 30% compared to that prepared with a regular sequential deposition. 7Antimony transformation and mobilization from stibnite by an antimonite oxidizing bacterium Bosea sp. AS-1显示文摘Soils and waters are heavily contaminated by antimony in Xikuangshan(XKS)mine area.It is widely accepted that oxidative dissolution of sulfide minerals and aqueous dissolution are the most prevalent geochemical mechanisms for the release of Sb to the environment.Bosea sp.AS-1 is an antimonite-oxidizer isolated from the mine slag in Xikuangshan Sb mine.Whole genome sequencing revealed the presence of multiple sulfur-oxidizing genes,antimony(Sb)metabolism genes and carbon fixation genes in AS-1 s genome.We therefore hypothesized that under oxic conditions,AS-1 could mediate the oxidation of sulfide and Sb(Ⅲ)in stibnite(Sb_(2)S_(3))and lead to the release of Sb.Indeed,strain AS-1 was discovered as an autotrophic Sb(Ⅲ)-oxidizer.Antimony mobilization studies conducted with strain AS-1showed significantly enhanced mobilization of Sb,and complete oxidation of released Sb and sulfur to Sb(V)and sulfate.In addition,AS-1 induced a faster release of Sb under heterotrophic condition,and new acicular minerals might form.These findings support the hypothesis that microorganisms play an important role in the mobilization and transformation of Sb in XKS mine area and may contribute to our further understanding of the Sb biogeochemical redox cycle in natural environment.Li Xiang Chaoyang Liu Deng Liu Liyuan Ma Xuan Qiu Hongmei Wang Xiaolu Lu 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,1:3
8Seasonal distribution of total mercury and methylmercury in sediments of the Wujiangdu Reservoir,Guizhou,China显示文摘The concentrations of total mercury and methylmercury in sediments were determined at the dam of the Wujiangdu Reservoir in different seasons. Total mercury (HgT) levels in the whole sediment profile were 254.2±47.0 ng/g in winter, 254.2±31.6 ng/g in spring, and 256.7±60.8 ng/g in summer, without significant variations in different seasons or at different depths. In contrast, the methylmercury (MeHg) compounds were most abundant at the sediment-water interface and decreased progressively with depth. MeHg contents of the sediments during different seasons are highly dependent on microbial activity, and seem to be higher when Hg (II)-methylating microorganisms are active. Thus, MeHg levels tend to rise in the loci where nutrient supplies and biological productivity are favorable. 15Genome-wide signatures of the geographic expansion and breeding of soybean显示文摘Soybean is a leguminous crop that provides oil and protein. Exploring the genomic signatures of soybean evolution is crucial for breeding varieties with improved adaptability to environmental extremes. We analyzed the genome sequences of 2,214 soybeans and proposed a soybean evolutionary route, i.e., the expansion of annual wild soybean(Glycine soja Sieb. & Zucc.) from southern China and its domestication in central China, followed by the expansion and local breeding selection of its landraces(G. max(L.) Merr.). We observed that the genetic introgression in soybean landraces was mostly derived from sympatric rather than allopatric wild populations during the geographic expansion. Soybean expansion and breeding were accompanied by the positive selection of flowering time genes, including GmSPA3c.
