1Passive source range estimation with a single receiver in shallow water显示文摘An approach for long-range passive impulsive source ranging with a single receiver in shallow water is proposed,which utilizes the frequency spectrum of the warped signal autocorrelation function via warping transform.For an ideal waveguide,there are invariable frequency features both in the frequency spectrum of the warped signal corresponding to modal cut-off frequencies and the warped signal autocorrelation function due to modal interference.These intrinsic frequency features can be used to passive source ranging.So,the approximate relationship between the frequency of warped signal at an unknown source range and the intrinsic frequency extracted by the time warping transform is derived.These rules can be generalized to an actual shallow water waveguide.Employing an acoustic model to offer the invariable frequency spectrum features,the impulsive signal data collected by a single hydrophone in the North Yellow Sea in December 2011 are analyzed to verify the proposed source ranging approach.The estimated ranges are in good agreement with the ranges measured by GPS,and the mean relative error of range estimation is less than 10%.QI Yubo ZHOU Shihong REN Yun WANG Dejun LIU Jianjun FENG Xiqiang 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,1:13
2Bifurcations in penetrative Rayleigh-Be′nard convection in a cylindrical container显示文摘The bifurcations of penetrative Rayleigh-B′enard convection in cylindrical containers are studied by the linear stability analysis(LSA) combined with the direct numerical simulation(DNS) method. The working ?uid is cold water near 4?C, where the Prandtl number P r is 11.57, and the aspect ratio(radius/height) of the cylinder ranges from 0.66 to 2. It is found that the critical Rayleigh number increases with the increase in the density inversion parameter θ_m. The relationship between the normalized critical Rayleigh number(Rac(θ_m)/Rac(0)) and θ_m is formulated, which is in good agreement with the stability results within a large range of θ_m. The aspect ratio has a minor effect on Rac(θ_m)/Rac(0). The bifurcation processes based on the axisymmetric solutions are also investigated. 7High temperature induced masculinization of zebrafish by down-regulation of sox9b and esr1 via DNA methylation显示文摘Elevated temperature could influence the sex differentiation by altering the expression of sex-related genes in fish.However, the underlying mechanisms by which the gene expression is altered remain poorly understood.Here, we aimed to explore the role of DNA methylation in sex differentiation of zebrafish(Danio rerio) in response to elevated temperature.The results showed that high temperature(33℃) exposure of fish from 20 to 30 days post fertilization(dpf), compared to normal temperature(28℃), resulted in male-biased sex ratio and decreased expression of female-related genes including cyp19a1a, sox9b and esr1.Meanwhile, the expressions of DNA methyltransferases dnmt3a1 and dnmt3a2, and the DNA methylation levels in sox9b and esr1 promoter were significantly increased by high temperature, strongly implying that DNA methylation is involved in high temperature-induced masculinization of zebrafish.Co-treatment with 5-aza-2-deoxycytidine(a DNA methylation inhibitor) attenuated the high temperature-induced masculinizing effect, recovered the expression of esr1 and sox9b, suppressed the transcription of dnmt3a1 and dnmt3a2, and decreased the methylation of esr1 and sox9b promoter, further confirming that DNA methylation plays an important role in high temperature-induced masculinization of zebrafish.Furthermore, the methylation of sox9b promoter decreased the enrichment of transcription factor CREB(cAMP-responsive element binding proteins).Overall, these findings suggest that high temperature induce masculinization of zebrafish by down-regulation of femalerelated genes via DNA methylation, providing a new insight in understanding the epigenetic mechanism of thermal-mediated sex differentiation in fish.Jiangyuan Han Yan Hu Yongmei Qi Cong Yuan Sajid Naeem Dejun Huang 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,9:1
