2Design of precision variable-rate spray system for unmanned aerial vehicle using automatic control method显示文摘In order to reduce the use of chemical pesticides in crop plant protection and improve the utilization efficiency of pesticides,it is necessary to study advanced application machinery and application techniques.The use of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)for pesticide spraying has the characteristics of less application,strong penetrability,wide applicability and flexible operation scheduling,and has gradually become one of the important development directions in the field of aviation plant protection.However,the operation process of the UAV is often affected by meteorological factors and human manipulation,resulting in poor actual operation with inaccurate spray volume and uneven application.Therefore,to improve the stability and uniformity of the application of the plant protection UAV under variable operating conditions,in this paper a real-time control method was proposed for the application flow rate,and a precision variable-rate spray system was designed based on single-chip microcomputer and micro diaphragm pump that can controls the flow rate of the pump in real time with the changes of the operating state.The response s-peed of the variable-rate spray system was tested.The average control response time of the system was 0.18 s,and the average stability time of the pump flow change was 0.75 s.The test results showed that the system has a quick response to the working state and the adjustment of the target flow of the pump can be quickly completed to realize the variable-rate spray function.The research results can provide a reference for the practical application of plant protection UAV variable-rate spray system.Qi Lian Feng Tan Xiaoming Fu Ping Zhang Xin Liu Wei Zhang 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,2:10
3Wind tunnel experimental study on droplet drift reduction by a conical electrostatic nozzle for pesticide spraying显示文摘Droplet drift wastes pesticide,pollutes the environment,and has become one of the focus issues of agricultural crop protection.Electrostatic spray technology reduces drift to a certain degree.In order to investigate the droplet drift pattern of a conical electrostatic nozzle,the droplet drift mass center distance was defined as an experimental index and used to conduct experimental wind tunnel studies on droplet drift.A mathematical model of the droplet drift mass center distance versus electrostatic voltage and wind speed was created via the regression method.The test results showed that the electrostatic voltage had an insignificant effect on droplet drift,the wind speed and its interaction with the electrostatic voltage had significant effects on droplet drift.When the wind speed was less than 3 m/s and stable,the crop adsorbability of a droplet had a dominant effect on the droplet drift;the droplet drift decreased with the increase of electrostatic voltage.When the wind speed exceeded 3 m/s and was stable,the reduced droplet particle size had a dominant effect on droplet drift,where droplet drift increased as the electrostatic voltage increased.When the wind speed was 0 m/s and the electrostatic voltage was 12 kV,the minimum droplet drift mass center distance was 35.5 mm,which was 56 mm less than that of conventional nozzle droplet drift.Therefore,a conical electrostatic nozzle is inapplicable for operation in an environment where wind speeds exceed 3 m/s.This study provides a reference for optimizing operational parameters of conical electrostatic nozzles and improving the anti-drift capability of droplets.Zhang Wei Hou Yongrui Liu Xin Lian Qi Fu Xiaoming Zhang Bo Wang Haiyang Wang Yingqian 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3:8
4Blunted nitric oxide regulation in Tibetans under high-altitude hypoxia显示文摘Nitric oxide(NO) is an important molecule for vasomotor tone, and elevated NO signaling was previously hypothesized as a unique and adaptive physiological change in highland Tibetans. However, there has been lack of NO data from Tibetans living at low altitude and lowlander immigrants living at high altitude, which is crucial to test this hypothesis. Here, through cross-altitude(1990–5018 m) and cross-population(Tibetans and Han Chinese) analyses of serum NO metabolites(NOx) of 2086 individuals, we demonstrate that although Tibetans have a higher serum NOx level compared to lowlanders, Han Chinese immigrants living at high altitude show an even higher level than Tibetans. Consequently, our data contradict the previous proposal of increased NO signaling as the unique adaptive strategy in Tibetans.Instead, Tibetans have a relatively lower circulating NOx level at high altitude. This observation is further supported by data from the hypoxic experiments using human umbilical vein endothelial cells and gene knockout mice. No difference is detected between Tibetans and Han Chinese for endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS), the key enzyme for circulating NO synthesis, suggesting that e NOS itself is unlikely to be the cause. We show that other NO synthesis-related genes(e.g. GCH1) carry Tibetan-enriched mutations significantly associated with the level of circulating NOx in Tibetans. 5Oligomeric proanthocyanidin protects retinal ganglion cells against oxidative stress-induced apoptosis显示文摘The death of retinal ganglion cells is a hallmark of many optic neurodegenerative diseases such as glaucoma and retinopathy.Oxidative stress is one of the major reasons to cause the cell death Oligomeric proanthocyanidin has many health beneficial effects including antioxidative and neuroprotective actions.Here we tested whether oligomeric proanthocyanidin may protect retina ganglion cells against oxidative stress induced-apoptosis in vitro.Retinal ganglion cells were treated with hydrogen peroxide with or without oligomeric proanthocyanidin3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT)assay showed that treating retinal ganglion cell line RGC-5 cells with 20μmol/L oligomeric proanthocyanidin significantly decreased the hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)induced death.Results of flow cytometry and Hoechst staining demonstrated that the death of RGC-5 cells was mainly caused by cell apoptosis.We further found that expression of pro-apoptotic Bax and caspase-3 were significantly decreased while anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 was greatly increased in H2O2damaged RGC-5 cells with oligomeric proanthocyanidin by western blot assay.Furthermore,in retinal explant culture,the number of surviving retinal ganglion cells in H2O2-damaged retinal ganglion cells with oligomeric proanthocyanidin was significantly increased.Our studies thus demonstrate that oligomeric proanthocyanidin can protect oxidative stress-injured retinal ganglion cells by inhibiting apoptotic process.Hui Wang Chanjuan Zhang Dan Lu Xiaoming Shu Lihong Zhu Renbing Qi Kwok-Fai So Daxiang Lu Ying Xu 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,25:5
6Effect of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate on the formation rate of CO_2 hydrate显示文摘The effect of the addition of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C4mim][BF4]) on the formation rates of CO2 hydrates was investigate. The isothermal and isobaric methods were used to measure the formation rates of CO2 hydrates. As compared to those of pure water, the data of phase equilibrium changed greatly. The effects of pressure, temperature, and the concentration of [C4mim][BF4] aqueous solution on the formation rates of CO2 hydrates were investigated. With a constant concentration of [C4mim][BF4], the rate of gas consumption was enhanced with the lowering of experimental temperature. However, a decrease in pressure exerted an opposite effect on the rate of gas consumption. 7Application of sewage sludge and intermittent aeration strategy to the bioremediation of DDT- and HCH-contaminated soil显示文摘Adding organic amendments to stimulate the biodegradation of pesticides is a subject of ongoing interest. The effect of sewage sludge on the bioremediation of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane(DDT) and hexachlorocyclohexane(HCH) contaminated soil was investigated in bench scale experiments,and intermittent aeration strategy was also used in this study to form an anaerobic–aerobic cycle. Bioremediation of DDT and HCH was enhanced with the addition of sewage sludge and the intermittent aeration. The removal rates of HCH and DDT were raised by 16.8%–80.8% in 10 days. Sewage sludge increased the organic carbon content from 6.2 to218 g/kg,and it could also introduce efficient degradation microbes to soil,including Pseudomonas sp.,Bacillus sp. and Sphingomonas sp. 9Generality and characteristics of genetic and epigenetic changes in newly synthesized allotetraploid wheat lines显示文摘Previous studies have shown rapid and extensive genomic instability associated with early stages of allopolyploidization in wheat.However,these studies are based on either a few pre-selected genomic loci or genome-wide analysis of a single plant individual for a given cross combination,thus making the extent and generality of the changes uncertain.To further study the generality and characteristics of allopolyploidization-induced genomic instability in wheat,we investigated genetic and epigenetic changes from a genome-wide perspective(by using the AFLP and MSAP markers) in four sets of newly synthesized allotetraploid wheat lines with various genome constitutions,each containing three randomly chosen individual plants at the same generation.We document that although general chromosomal stability was characteristic of all four sets of allotetraploid wheat lines,genetic and epigenetic changes at the molecular level occurred in all these plants,with both kinds of changes classifiable into two distinct categories,i.e.,stochastic and directed.The abundant type of genetic change is loss of parental bands while the prevalent cytosine methylation pattern alteration is hypermethylation at the CHG sites.Our results have extended previous studies regarding allopolyploidization-induced genomic dynamics in wheat by demonstrating the generality of both genetic and epigenetic changes associated with multiple nascent allotetraploid wheat lines,and providing novel insights into the characteristics of the two kinds of induced genomic instabilities.Bao Qi 1,Xiaofang Zhong 1,Bo Zhu,Na Zhao,Liying Xu,Huakun Zhang,Xiaoming Yu,Bao Liu Key Laboratory of Molecular Epigenetics of MOE and Institute of Genetics & Cytology,Northeast Normal University,Changchun 130024,China 2010Journal of Genetics and Genomics2010,37,11:5

11Novel HDAC5-interacting motifs of Tbx3 are essential for the suppression of E-cadherin expression and for the promotion of metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Tbx3,a transcriptional repressor,is essential in the organogenesis of vertebrates,stem cell self-renewal and differentiation,and the carcinogenesis of multiple tumor types.However,the mechanism by which Tbx3 participates in the metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remains largely unknown.In this study,we show that Tbx3 was dramatically upregulated in clinical HCC samples and that elevated expression of Tbx3 promoted cancer progression.To determine the underlying mechanism,systematic glycine scan mutagenesis and deletion assays were performed.We identified two critical motifs,^(585)LFSYPYT^(591)and^(604)HRH^(606),that contribute to the repression of transcriptional activity.These motifs are also essential for Tbx3 to promote cell migration and metastasis both in vitro and in vivo via the suppression of E-cadherin expression.More importantly,Tbx3 directly interacts with HDAC5 via these motifs,and an HDAC inhibitor blocks Tbx3-mediated cell migration and the downregulation of E-cadherin in HCC.As Tbx3 is involved in the carcinogenesis of multiple types of human cancers,our findings suggest an important target for anticancer drug development.Liang Dong Qi Dong Ying Chen Yichen Li Bao Zhang Fanghang Zhou Xiaoming Lyu George GChen Paul Lai Hsiang-fu Kung Ming-Liang He 2018Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2018,3,1:3
12Photodegradation of amoxicillin by catalyzed Fe^(3+)/H_2O_2 process显示文摘Three oxidation processes of UV-Fe3+(EDTA)/H2O2(UV:ultraviolet light;EDTA:ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid),UV-Fe3+/H2O2 and Fe3+/H2O2 were simultaneously investigated for the degradation of amoxicillin at pH 7.0.The results indicated that,100% amoxicillin degradation and 81.9% chemical oxygen demand(CODCr) removal could be achieved in the UV-Fe3+(EDTA)/H2O2 process.The treatment efficiency of amoxicillin and CODCr removal were found to decrease to 59.0% and 43.0% in the UV-Fe3+/H2O2 process;39.6% and 31.3% in the Fe3+/H2O2 process.Moreover,the results of biodegradability(biological oxygen demand(BOD5)/CODCr ratio) revealed that the UV-Fe3+(EDTA)/H2O2 process was a promising strategy to degrade amoxicillin as the biodegradability of the effuent was improved to 0.45,compared with the cases of UV-Fe3+/H2O2(0.25) and Fe3+/H2O2(0.10) processes.Therefore,it could be deduced that EDTA and UV light performed synergetic catalytic effect on the Fe3+/H2O2 process,enhancing the treatment efficiency.The degradation mechanisms were also investigated via UV-Vis spectra,and high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectra.The degradation pathway of amoxicillin was further proposed.Xiaoming Li Tingting Shen Dongbo Wang Xiu Yue Xian Liu Qi Yang Jianbin Cao Wei Zheng Guangming Zeng 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,2:3

20Anisotropic in-plane thermal conductivity for multi-layer WTe_(2)显示文摘Improving thermal transport between substrate and transistors has become a vital solution to the thermal challenge in nanoelectronics.Recently 2D WTe_(2) has sparked extensive interest because of heavy atomic mass and low Debye temperature.Here,the thermal transport of supported WTe_(2) was studied via Raman thermometry with electrical heating.The supported 30 nm WTe2 encased with 70 nm Al_(2)O_(3) delivered 4.8 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)in-plane thermal conductivity along zigzag direction at room temperature,which was almost 1.6 times larger than that along armchair direction(3.0 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)).Interestingly,the superior and inferior directions for thermal transport are just opposite of those for electrical transport.Hence,a heat manipulation model in WTe_(2) FET device was proposed.Within the designed configuration,waste heat in WTe_(2) would be mostly dissipated to metal contacts located along zigzag,relieving the local temperature discrepancy in the channel effectively and preventing degradation or breakdown.Our study provides new insight into thermal transport of anisotropic 2D materials,which might inspire energy-efficient nanodevices in the future.Yuehua Wei Chuyun Deng Xiaoming Zheng Yangbo Chen Xiangzhe Zhang Wei Luo Yi Zhang Gang Peng Jinxin Liu Han Huang Weiwei Cai Qi Ge Renyan Zhang Xueao Zhang Shiqiao Qin 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:1
