| 1 | Petrogenesis and Metallogenesis of the Mazaertag Layered Intrusion in the Tarim Large Igneous Province,NW China显示文摘The Mazaertag layered intrusion is located in the northwestern part of the Tarim large igneous province where several early Permian layered mafic-ultramafic intrusions host important Fe-Ti oxide deposits. The intrusion covers an area of ~0.13 km^2 and has a vertical stratigraphic thickness of at least300 m. It consists chiefly of olivine clinopyroxenite, and is cut through by the nearby mafic-ultramafic dykes. In this paper, we report new mineral chemistry data and whole-rock chemical and isotopic compositions for the Mazaertag intrusion along with whole-rock isotopic compositions for the nearby mafic dykes. The averaged compositions of cumulus olivine, clinopyroxene and intercumulus plagioclase within individual samples range from Fo_(71-73),Mg~# = 76 to 79 and An_(65-75) but they do not define sustained reversals. The observed mineral compositions are consistent with the differentiation of a single batch of magma in a closed system. Rocks of the Mazaertag intrusion are characterized by enrichment in light REE relative to heavy REE, positive Nb and Ta anomalies and a small range of age-corrected ε_(Nd)(t)(-0.1 to +0.9) and initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr values(0.7044 to 0.7068). The slightly lower ε_(Nd)(t), initial ^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb and higher initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr values of the intrusion compared to those of the least contaminated dykes[ε_(Nd)(t) =+2.8 to +3.4;(^(206)Pb/^(204)Pb)_i = 18.516-18.521;(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)_i = 0.7038-0.7041] imply that the Mazaertag magma was subjected to small to modest degrees of contamination by the upper crust. The Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of the least contaminated dykes are consistent with derivation from a FOZO-like mantle source. The parental magma of the Mazaertag intrusion, estimated from clinopyroxene compositions using mineral-melt partition coefficients, has trace element compositions similar to some of the most primitive mafic dykes in the same area. This suggests that the Mazaertag intrusion and mafic dykes shared a similar mantle source. Therefore, the parental magma of the Mazaertag intrusion was interpreted to have originated from a mantle plume. | 2 | A Hu sheep genome with the first ovine Y chromosome reveal introgression history after sheep domestication显示文摘The Y chromosome plays key roles in male fertility and reflects the evolutionary history of paternal lineages.Here,we present a de novo genome assembly of the Hu sheep with the first draft assembly of ovine Y chromosome(o MSY),using nanopore sequencing and Hi-C technologies.The o MSY that we generated spans 10.6 Mb from which 775 Y-SNPs were identified by applying a large panel of whole genome sequences from worldwide sheep and wild Iranian mouflons.Three major paternal lineages(HY1a,HY1b and HY2)were defined across domestic sheep,of which HY2 was newly detected.Surprisingly,HY2 forms a monophyletic clade with the Iranian mouflons and is highly divergent from both HY1a and HY1b.Demographic analysis of Y chromosomes,mitochondrial and nuclear genomes confirmed that HY2 and the maternal counterpart of lineage C represented a distinct wild mouflon population in Iran that diverge from the direct ancestor of domestic sheep,the wild mouflons in Southeastern Anatolia.Our results suggest that wild Iranian mouflons had introgressed into domestic sheep and thereby introduced this Iranian mouflon specific lineage carrying HY2 to both East Asian and Africa sheep populations. | Ran Li Peng Yang Ming Li Wenwen Fang Xiangpeng Yue Hojjat Asadollahpour Nanaei Shangquan Gan Duo Du Yudong Cai Xuelei Dai Qimeng Yang Chunna Cao Weidong Deng Sangang He Wenrong Li Runlin Ma Mingjun Liu Yu Jiang | 2021 | Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,7: | 1 |
| 3 | Identifying the roles of Ce^(3+)-OH and Ce-H in the reverse water-gas shift reaction over highly active Ni-doped CeO_(2) catalyst显示文摘Nickel-CeO_(2)-based materials are commonly used for the thermal catalytic hydrogenation of CO_(2).However,high Ni loadings and low CO selectivity restrict their use in the reverse water–gas shift(RWGS)reaction.Herein,we demonstrate a highly active,robust,and low-Ni-doped(1.1 wt.%)CeO_(2) catalyst(1.0-Ni-CeO_(2)).The Ni-based-mass-specific CO formation rate reaches up to 1,542 mmol·gNi^(−1)·h^(−1) with 100%CO selectivity at 300°C for 100 h,among the best values reported in the literature.Density functional theory(DFT)and diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS)results reveal that the enhanced catalytic activity is attributed to the abundant Ce–H species,while the high selectivity results from low CO affinity.More importantly,a new reaction mechanism is proposed,which involves the reduction of bicarbonate to generate formate intermediate and CO by the H−released from Ce–H species.The new findings in this work will benefit the design of economic,efficient,and robust catalysts for low-temperature RWGS reactions. | Haidong Shen Yujuan Dong Shaowei Yang Yuan He Qimeng Wang Yueling Cao Wenbin Wang Tianshuai Wang Qiuyu Zhang Hepeng Zhang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 1 |
| 4 | Nonlinear instability suppression of closed-loop pilot-vehicle system with rate-limiting actuator based on anti-windup compensation显示文摘To solve the flight safety problem caused by nonlinear instabilities(category II pilot induced oscillations, PIOs) of the closed-loop pilot-vehicle system with rate-limiting actuator, the antiwindup(AW) compensation method to avoid category II PIOs is investigated. Firstly, the AW compensation method originally used for controlling input magnitude limited system is introduced, then this method is extended for controlling input rate-limiting system through a circle criterion theorem. Secondly, the establishment of the AW compensator is transformed into the solving of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an AW compensator establishment algorithm for the closed-loop pilot-vehicle system with the rate-limiting actuator is obtained. The effectiveness of the AW compensation method to avoid category II PIOs is validated by time-domain simulations,and compared with rate-limited feedback(RLF) command rate compensation method. The results show that the AW compensation method can effectively suppress category II PIOs and maintain the nominal performance when the closed-loop pilot-vehicle system is normal. | 5 | Can the ASHRAE Standard 169 zoning method be applied to country-level energy-efficient building design in China?显示文摘In current building thermal climate design zones of China,the zoning indicators only include temperature elements without considering the regional difference of air humidity.Therefore,building thermal design strategies in continental climate zone with low relative humidity and marine climate zone with high relative humidity cannot be distinguished by the current building thermal zoning standards.ASHRAE Standard 169 proposes dual definitions for moisture and thermal climate zones,and this method can be extended to the world,including the so-called“China Climate Zones Map”.However,the moisture climate zoning criterion is unsuitable for China’s climate characteristics after climate analysis and building performance evaluation.In present work,a novel building moisture climate zoning method is proposed.The bioclimatic chart was utilized for extracting the outline of building climate through the Gaussian KDE method.Hence,the building moisture climate was classified,the zoning indicator was obtained,and a country-level climate zones map for China was established.The results indicated that the global information matrix served as a helpful guide and reference for planning at the national level.Annual precipitation could be used as a zoning indicator to accurately reflect the regional differences of building moisture climate in China.The approach can provide new thoughts for improving the climate zoning system in current energy-efficient building design standards of China to assist the ultra-low energy consumption target. | Shangyu Wang Liu Yang Xiangxin Meng Kailin Lyu Qimeng Cao Yan Liu | 2023 | Building Simulation2023,16,7: | 0 |
