1Putting the Cart before the Horse? Capital Account Liberalization and Exchange Rate Flexibility in China显示文摘This paper reviews the issues involved in moving towards greater exchange rate flexibilityand capital account liberalization in China. A more flexible exchange rate regime wouldallow China to operate a more independent monetary policy, providing a useful bufferagainst domestic and external shocks. At the same time, weaknesses in China’s financialsystem suggest that capital account liberalization poses significant risks and should be alower priority in the short term. This paper concludes that greater exchange rate flexibilityis in China’s own interest and that, along with a more stable and robust financial system, itshould be regarded as a prerequisite for undertaking a substantial liberalization of thecapital account.EswarPrasad ThomasRumbaugh QingWang 2005China & World Economy2005,13,4:15
2Feature analysis of LIDAR waveforms from forest canopies显示文摘Airborne light detection and ranging (LIDAR) can detect the three-dimensional structure of forest canopies by transmitting laser pulses and receiving returned waveforms which contain backscatter from branches and leaves at different heights.We established a solid scatterer model to explain the widened durations found in analyzing the relationship between laser pulses and forest canopies,and obtained the corresponding rule between laser pulse duration and scatterer depth.Based on returned waveform characteristics,scatterers were classified into three types:simple,solid and complex.We developed single-peak derivative and multiple-peak derivative analysis methods to retrieve waveform features and discriminate between scatterer types.Solid scatterer simulations showed that the returned waveforms were widened as scatterer depth increased,and as space between sub-scatterers increased the returned waveforms developed two peaks which subsequently developed into two separate sub-waveforms.There were slight differences between the durations of simulated and measured waveforms.LIDAR waveform data are able to describe the backscatter characteristics of forest canopies,and have potential to improve the estimation accuracy of forest parameters.LIU QingWang LI ZengYuan CHEN ErXue PANG Yong LI ShiMing TIAN Xin 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,8:6
3UAV-based integrated multispectral-LiDAR imaging system and data processing显示文摘In the field of remote sensing imaging, multispectral imaging can obtain an image of the observed scene in several bands, while the light detection and ranging(LiDAR) can acquire the accurate 3D geometric information of the scene. With the development of remote sensing technology, how to effectively integrate the two imaging technologies in order to collect and process simultaneous spectral and 3D geometric information has been one of the frontier problems. Most of the present researches on simultaneous spectral and geometric data acquisition focus on the design of physical multispectral LiDAR system, which inevitably lead to an imaging system of heavy weight and high power consumption and thus inconvenient in practice. Different from the present researches, a UAV-based integrated multispectral-LiDAR system is introduced in this paper. 4Octagold selenido nanoclusters:Significance of surface ligands on tuning geometric and electronic structure of Au8Se2 kernel显示文摘Two diphosphine-protected superatom gold selenido nanoclusters,[Au_(8)Se_(2)(dppm)4]^(2+)(SD/Au_(8)a,dppm=Ph_(2)PCH_(2)PPh_(2))and[Au_(8)Se_(2)(dppe)4]^(2+)(SD/Au_(8)b,dppe=Ph_(2)P(CH_(2))2PPh_(2)),were obtained by the reduction of[Au(SMe2)Cl]in the presence of Ph3PSe as the selenium ion releasing agents.Both can be regarded as“superatoms”with 1S^(2)configuration based on the spherical Jellium model.Despite the same metal-ligand binding motifs on the surface and the intrinsic C_(2)molecular symmetry,the configurations of Au_(8)Se_(2)kernels in them are different in terms of Au-Au bonded metallic frameworks.SD/Au_(8)a displays a heart-shaped[core+exo]type structure(Au4 tetrahedron core+two exo Au2Se units),whereas the two exo Au_(2)Se counterparts in SD/Au_(8)b are additionally locked by an obvious Au-Au bond,forming a distorted hexagonal Au6 ring with two capping AuSe units appended above and below it.Consequently,they showed different photophysical properties as reflected by their electronic absorption and emission spectra.Especially,both SD/Au_(8)a and SD/Au_(8)b exhibit blue-shifted thermochromic luminescence upon cooling from 293 to 83 K but the latter exhibits anomalous emission intensity evolution trends due to the occurrence of temperature-induced phase transition as revealed by varied-temperature crystallographic analyses.This work not only clearly illustrates the significance of ligands on tuning the kernel structure but also provides two rarely comparable examples for better understanding of the structure-property relationship of gold nanoclusters.Shanshan Zhang Yingzhou Li Lei Feng Qingwang Xue Zhiyong Gao Chenho Tung Di Sun 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:2
5Field-Oriented Control and Direct Torque Control for a Five-Phase Fault-Tolerant Flux-Switching Permanent-Magnet Motor显示文摘This paper presents a comparative performance analysis of a new five-phase fault-tolerant flux-switching permanent-magnet(FT-FSPM)motor for high-reliability applications under the two most popular control schemes,namely,field-oriented control(FOC)and direct torque control(DTC)based on stator-flux orientation.Firstly,the new motor topology and structural characteristics are briefly presented.Secondly,the d-and q-axis for the FT-FSPM motor are defined,which is crucial to the mathematical model and control scheme,and the mathematical models are derived.Then,two control schemes,i.e.,FOC and DTC,and the main system are proposed.The operational principles of the two control schemes are presented,and space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)based on four neighboring vectors is adopted to reduce current harmonics and torque ripples.Finally,the simulated and experimental results are given,and performance analysis of the two control schemes are compared and discussed.The results reveal that FOC scheme has the sinusoidal phase current and low torque ripples,while the DTC scheme has fast dynamic response,verifying the effectiveness of the two proposed control schemes.This paper is a primary investigation for more possible improvements in the control schemes of the five-phase FS-FTPM motor.Binyu Wu Dezhi Xu Jinghua Ji Wenxiang Zhao Qingwang Jiang 2018Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2018,4,4:2
6Multi-attribute smooth graph convolutional network for multispectral points classification显示文摘Multispectral points, as a new data source containing both spectrum and spatial geometry, opens the door to three-dimensional(3D) land cover classification at a finer scale. In this paper, we model the multispectral points as a graph and propose a multiattribute smooth graph convolutional network(Ma SGCN) for multispectral points classification. We construct the spatial graph,spectral graph, and geometric-spectral graph respectively to mine patterns in spectral, spatial, and geometric-spectral domains.Then, the multispectral points graph is generated by combining the spatial, spectral, and geometric-spectral graphs. Moreover,dimensionality features and spectrums are introduced to screen the appropriate connection points for constructing the spatial graph. For remote sensing scene classification tasks, it is usually desirable to make the classification map relatively smooth and avoid salt and pepper noise. A heat operator is then introduced to enhance the low-frequency filters and enforce the smoothness in the graph signal. Considering that different land covers have different scale characteristics, we use multiple scales instead of the single scale when leveraging heat operator on graph convolution. 11Construction of Forest and Grass Industry Economic Belt Using Land Resources in Road Side Slope显示文摘The construction of expressway and high-speed rail is at the sacrifice of the soil ecological environment. It brings about much damaged land and bare slope. It is necessary to restore vegetation and rebuild landscape. In the design of target plant community and configuration plants,it is required to select as far as possible plants that can blossom and bear fruit or pods. Then seeds of these plants can be harvested,processed and sold,and applied for other projects,so as to develop into a complete forest and grass seed industry chain. This not only reasonably utilizes land resources,but also provides a new approach to the problem of insufficient fine forest seed sources in China. This paper discussed the use of land resources in road side slope and forest and grass seed selection and breeding technology,and elaborated the industrialized development paths for forest and grass seed industries in road side slope. Finally,it arrived at following recommendations.( i) The construction of forest and grass industry economic belt using land resources in road side slope can realize maximum land value. Building a road can help people there get rich,and the type of land and water cultivates its type of forest and grass.( ii) It can make up for the losses incurred from construction of expressway and high-speed rail or destroying forest land,and it can increase farmers' income.( iii) It can increase the supply of domestic seeds,reduce seed import,save foreign exchange,and partly solve the problem of insufficient supply of forest and grass seeds.( iv) It is able to form a complete forest and grass seed industry economic cycle chain,increase employment,and provide new approaches for enriching and benefiting farmers.Zhaohua ZHU Qingwang LAI Guogang XU Guoliang CHI Xiaorong CHEN 2017Asian Agricultural Research2017,9,7:1

19Genome-wide characterization of graft-transmissible mRNA-coding P450 genes of cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)显示文摘P450(cytochrome P450)is a supergene family,which is involved in various metabolic pathways in plants.Based on previous study,we found some of cucumber P450 mRNAs were systemic mobile in cucumber/pumpkin grafts.However,the reason that why P450 mRNAs were endorsed as signaling,and what specific motif(s)did they harbored is not clear yet.Here,we first identified 221 CsaP450 genes in cucumber genomewide level.Combining with graft-transmissiblemRNAs datasets in cucumber,we elucidated 15mobile-CsaP450-coding genes,of which 5 and 10 belonged to A-type and non-A type respectively.Compared with Arabidopsis and pumpkin(Cucubit moschata)graft-induced-transmissible P450 mRNAs,a phylogenetic treewas constructed and divided into eight clans by usingmultiple-sequence alignment.Gene ontology(GO)enrichment and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)annotations indicated that the expression patterns of the mobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes in different tissues of cucumber was specifically enriched in oxidoreductase activity and secondary metabolic pathways.The structures and motifs of these 15 mobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes and their types of regulatory elements told that the proportion of CU-rich motifs was higher than nonmobile-mRNA-coding CsaP450 genes.The integrated analysis of mobility direction and mRNA abundance of 15 mobilemRNA-coding CsaP450 genes allowed to conclude that there was rarely relationship between them.The study provided a new insight into the relationship between the motifs and functional characterization of mobile-mRNA-coding P450 genes of cucumber in genome-wide levels.Tao Wang Xiaohong Lu Chenggang Xiang Xiaojun Li Wenqian Liu QingWang Zixi Liu Lihong Gao Wenna Zhang 2023Horticultural Plant Journal2023,9,2:1
20Isorhamnetin protects zearalenone-induced damage via the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in porcine ovarian granulosa cells显示文摘Zearalenone(ZEA)is widely derived from moldy cereal grain,which has adverse effects on animal reproduction.In particular,pigs are more sensitive to ZEA-induced toxicity than other animals.Isorhamnetin has extensive pharmacological activity.However,the role of isorhamnetin in ZEA-induced cytotoxicity remains unclear.This study was designed to investigate the therapeutic effect of isorhamnetin on ZEA-induced damage in porcine ovarian granulosa cells and elucidate its molecular mechanism.Two experiments were conducted,where a minimum of 3 biological replicates were used for each treatment.In Exp.1,ovarian granulosa cells were treated with different concentrations of isorhamnetin(1,5,10,20 and 30μmol/L)and ZEA(0,10,30,60,90 and 120μmol/L)for 24 h.Our results indicated that 60μmol/L ZEA(half-maximal inhibitory concentration value)and 20μmol/L isorhamnetin(the most effective concentration against ZEA-induced cytotoxicity)were optimum concentrations.In Exp.2,ovarian granulosa cells were treated with isorhamnetin(20μmol/L)for 2 h,before treatment with ZEA(60μmol/L)for 24 h.Apoptosis,endoplasmic reticulum stress,oxidative stress,proliferation and hormone secretion of ovarian granulosa cells were detected.Our findings showed that isorhamnetin suppressed(P<0.05)ZEA-induced apoptosis by altering mitochondrial membrane potential and apoptosis-related proteins(B-cell lymphoma-2[Bcl-2],Bcl2-associated x[Bax]and cleaved caspase-3[C-Casp3]).Changes in intracellular Ca2+levels and C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP),recombinant activating transcription factor 6(ATF6),glucose regulated protein78 k D(GRP78)indicated that isorhamnetin rescued(P<0.05)ZEA-induced endoplasmic reticulum stress.Furthermore,isorhamnetin prevented(P<0.05)ZEA-induced oxidative stress via the mitogen-activated protein kinase(P38)signaling pathway.Mechanistically,isorhamnetin stimulated(P<0.05)the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and cyclin D,thereby increasing the ratio of S phase cells in response to ZEAinduced apoptosis via phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt)signaling pathway.Isorhamnetin also recovered(P<0.05)ZEA-induced steroidogenesis disorder by regulating steroidogenic enzyme gene and proteins(follicle-stimulating hormone receptor[FSHR]and cytochrome P450 family 19subfamily a member 1[CYP19A1]).Collectively,these findings show that isorhamnetin protects ovarian granulosa cells from ZEA-induced damage,which promotes proliferation,alleviates apoptosis,endoplasmic reticulum stress,oxidative stress,and steroidogenesis disorder.Xiaoya Li Huali Chen Zelin Zhang Jiaxin Duan Rongmao Hua Xiaodi Li Li Yang Jianyong Cheng Qingwang Li 2022Animal Nutrition2022,,4:1
