1Study on the lift and propulsive force shares to improve the flight performance of a compound helicopter显示文摘To investigate the effects of lift and propulsive force shares on flight performance,a compound helicopter model is derived.The model consists of a helicopter model,a wing model and a propeller model.At a low speed of 100 km/h,the Lift-to-Drag ratio(L/D)of the compound helicopter is improved when the wing provides 20.2%of the take-off weight.At high speeds,the L/D can be improved when the propeller provides the total propulsive force.Lowering the main rotor speed increases the wing lift share,however,the maximum L/D increases first and then decreases.The maximum L/D increases with decreasing the blade twist of the main rotor.Decreasing the blade twist from-16°to-8°increases the maximum L/D by 2.3%,and the wing lift share is increased from 65.0%to 74.7%.When the main rotor torque is balanced by the rudder,the maximum L/D is increased by 2.2%without changing the wing lift share.The wing should provide more lift as increasing the take-off weight,which reduces the induced power of the main rotor and increases the L/D.When increasing the take-off weight from 9500 kg to 11000 kg,the maximum L/D is increased by 6.5%,and the wing lift share is increased from 74.7%to 80.2%.Kelong YANG Dong HAN Qipeng SHI 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,1:2
2Role of chemerin/CMKLR1 in the maintenance of earlypregnancy显示文摘Chemerin is a cytokine that attracts much attention in the reproductive process. This study aimed toexplore the effects of chemerin and its receptor chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1) on the maintenance of earlypregnancy. The expression levels of chemerin and CMKLR1 in the decidua tissues of 20 early normal pregnantwomen and 20 early spontaneous abortion women were examined by Western blot and real-time polymerase chainreaction analyses. CMKLR1 receptor antagonist (a-NETA) was then intrauterinely injected into normal pregnantmice model to assess its effect on the outcome of pregnancy and the phosphorylation rate of ERK1/2 in deciduatissues. We found that the expression level of chemerin in women who had experienced early spontaneous abortionwas lower than in those who had experienced normal early pregnancy (P 〈 0.01); conversely, CMKLR1expression was higher in the former than in the latter (P 〈 0.01). In a pregnant-mouse model, the embryoresorption rate of a-NETA group was higher than that in the negative control group (61.5% vs. 10.8%) (P 〈 0.001).Compared with the control group, ERK1/2 phosphorylation in decidua tissues decreased in the a-NETA-treatedgroup (P 〈 0.01). 3Surface charge of PLA microparticles in regulation of antigen loading,macrophage phagocytosis and activation,and immune effects in vitro显示文摘The use of microparticles(MPs) as adjuvants has attracted increasing interest in vaccine delivery systems.Many physiochemical characteristics of MPs including hydrodynamic size,surface properties,and morphology can regulate the immune response.Surface charge is an important characteristic of MPs,but how it affects their adjuvanticity remains unknown.In this study,we prepared uniform-sized polylactide MPs coated with various polymers of different positive charge,and investigated how the surface charge affected antigen loading and macrophage phagocytosis and activation in vitro.A higher surface charge greatly enhanced antigen loading and antigen internalization into macrophages,promoted the expression of MHC 11 and CD80,and increased the secretion level of TNF-a.Taken together,these results indicated that surface charge was an important parameter for improving the adjuvanticity of MPs.Yuying Liu Xiaoming Chen Lianyan Wang Tingyuan Yang Qipeng Yuan Guanghui Ma 2014Particuology2014,12,6:1

5Coculture engineering for efficient production of vanillyl alcohol in Escherichia coli显示文摘Vanillyl alcohol is a precursor of vanillin,which is one of the most widely used flavor compounds.Currently,vanillyl alcohol biosynthesis still encounters the problem of low efficiency.In this study,coculture engineering was adopted to improve production efficiency of vanillyl alcohol in E.coli.First,two pathways were compared for biosynthesis of the immediate precursor 3,4-dihydroxybenzyl alcohol in monocultures,and the 3-dehydroshikimate-derived pathway showed higher efficiency than the 4-hydroxybenzoate-derived pathway.To enhance the efficiency of the last methylation step,two strategies were used,and strengthening S-adenosylmethionine(SAM)regeneration showed positive effect while strengthening SAM biosynthesis showed negative effect.Then,the optimized pathway was assembled in a single cell.However,the biosynthetic efficiency was still low,and was not significantly improved by modular optimization of pathway genes.Thus,coculturing engineering strategy was adopted.At the optimal inoculation ratio,the titer reached 328.9 mg/L.Further,gene aroE was knocked out to reduce cell growth and improve 3,4-DHBA biosynthesis of the upstream strain.As a result,the titer was improved to 559.4 mg/L in shake flasks and to 3.89 g/L in fed-batch fermentation.These are the highest reported titers of vanillyl alcohol so far.This work provides an effective strategy for sustainable production of vanillyl alcohol.Meichen Yang Hao Meng Xianglai Li Jia Wang Xiaolin Shen Xinxiao Sun Qipeng Yuan 2022aBIOTECH2022,3,4:1
6Numerical simulation of flash reduction in a drop tube reactor with variable temperatures显示文摘A computational fluid dynamics(CFD)model was developed to accurately predict the flash reduction process,which is considered an efficient alternative ironmaking process.Laboratory-scale experiments were conducted in drop tube reactors to verify the accuracy of the CFD model.The reduction degree of ore particles was selected as a critical indicator of model prediction,and the simulated and experimental results were in good agreement.The influencing factors,including the particle size(20–110μm),peak temperature(1250–1550°C),and reductive atmosphere(H_(2)/CO),were also investigated.The height variation lines indicated that small particles(50μm)had a longer residence time(3.6 s)than large particles.CO provided a longer residence time(~1.29 s)than H_(2)(~1.09 s).However,both the experimental and analytical results showed that the reduction degree of particles in CO was significantly lower than that in H2 atmosphere.The optimum experimental particle size and peak temperature for the preparation of high-quality reduced iron were found to be 50μm and 1350°C in H2 atmosphere,and40μm and 1550°C in CO atmosphere,respectively.Yiru Yang Qipeng Bao Lei Guo Zhe Wang Zhancheng Guo 2022International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,2:1

9Aging amorphous/crystalline heterophase PdCu nanosheets for catalytic reactions显示文摘Phase engineering is arising as an attractive strategy to tune the properties and functionalities of nanomaterials.In particular,amorphous/crystalline heterophase nanostructures have exhibited some intriguing properties.Herein,the one-pot wet-chemical synthesis of two types of amorphous/crystalline heterophase Pd Cu nanosheets is reported,in which one is amorphous phase-dominant and the other one is crystalline phase-dominant.Then the aging process of the synthesized Pd Cu nanosheets is studied,during which their crystallinity increases,accompanied by changes in some physicochemical properties.As a proof-of-concept application,their aging effect on catalytic hydrogenation of 4-nitrostyrene is investigated.As a result,the amorphous phase-dominant nanosheets initially show excellent chemoselectivity.After aging for 14 days,their catalytic activity is higher than that of crystalline phase-dominant nanosheets.This work demonstrates the intriguing properties of heterophase nanostructures,providing a new platform for future studies on the regulation of functionalities and applications of nanomaterials by phase engineering.Hongfei Cheng Nailiang Yang Xiaozhi Liu Qinbai Yun Min Hao Goh Bo Chen Xiaoying Qi Qipeng Lu Xiaoping Chen Wen Liu Lin Gu Hua Zhang 2019National Science Review2019,6,5:0
10B lymphoma Moloney murine leukemia virus insertion region 1: An oncogenic mediator in prostate cancer显示文摘B lymphoma Moloney murine leukemia virus insertion region 1 (BMI1), a core member of polycomb repressive complex 1 (PRC1), has been intensely investigated in the field of cancer epigenetics for decades. Widely known as a critical regulator in cellular physiology, BMI1 is essential in self-renewal and differentiation in different lineages of stem cells. BMI1 also plays a significant role in cancer etiology for its involvement in pathological progress such as epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and cancer stem cell maintenance, propagation, and differentiation. Importantly, overexpression of BMI1 is predictive for drug resistance, tumor recurrence, and eventual therapy failure of various cancer subtypes, which renders the pharmacological targeting at BMI1 as a novel and promising therapeutic approach. The study on prostate cancer, a prevalent hormone-related cancer among men, has promoted enormous research advancements in cancer genetics and epigenetics.
