| 1 | Improvements of heat resistance and adhesive property of condensed poly-nuclear aromatic resin via epoxy resin modification显示文摘A bisphenol epoxy resin was used as modifier to increase the heat resistance of condensed poly-nuclear aromatic(COPNA) resin. The basic properties of COPNA resin and modified resin were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-NMR), vapor pressure osmometry(VPO) and elemental analysis(EA). Average structural parameters of resins were calculated by the improved Brown-Ladner method, and heat resistance of resins was tested by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). The chemical structure, mechanical properties and heat resistivity of the resin/graphite composites prepared with different resins were compared. The results show that the adhesive property and heat resistance of COPNA resin can be remarkably improved by addition of 5 wt.% epoxy resin. The reason is that the reactions between epoxy groups of epoxy resin and hydroxyl groups of COPNA resin improve the heat resistance and adhesive property of COPNA resin. | 6 | Multi-channel discharge characteristics cutting by ultra-fine wire-EDM显示文摘Compared with a copper wire electrode, molybdenum wire with a poor conductor is usually used as the electrode in high speed wire-cut electrical discharge machining(HSWEDM), so the resistance of an ultra-fine wire cannot be ignored. To study the differences of discharge characteristics between the ultra-fine wire and the conventional diameter wire, the continuous discharge waveform of two kinds of wire electrodes was compared. It was found that there was a multichannel discharge phenomenon in the discharge waveform cutting by ultra-fine wire. Through the establishment of a discharge equivalent circuit model and the simulation analysis of the electrostatic field, it was found that the reason why ultra-fine wire is easy to form multi-channel discharge phenomenon is that the potential difference between the wire and the workpiece increased linearly along the axis of the wire. Besides, etching products like metal particles will distort the electric field between the electrodes. Both of them make it easy to form a multi-channel discharge in machining.The results show that the distributions of the equivalent resistance and the peak current are affected by the multi-channel discharge position. Multi-channel discharge can disperse energy and increase effective discharge frequency. | 13 | Simultaneously enhancing capacity and security in free-space optical chaotic communication utilizing orbital angular momentum显示文摘Optical chaotic signals emitted from an external-cavity feedback or injected laser diode enable small-signal information concealment in a noise-like carrier for secure optical communications.Due to the chaotic bandwidth limitation resulting from intrinsic relaxation oscillation frequency of lasers,multiplexing of optical chaotic signal,such as wavelength division multiplexing in fiber,is a typical candidate for high-capacity secure applications.However,to our best knowledge,the utilization of the spatial dimension of optical chaos for free-space secure communication has not yet been reported.Here,we experimentally demonstrate a free-space all-optical chaotic communication system that simultaneously enhances transmission capacity and security by orbital angular momentum(OAM)multiplexing.Optical chaotic signals with two different OAM modes totally carrying 20 Gbps on-off keying signals are secretly transmitted over a 2 m free-space link,where the channel crosstalk of OAM modes is less than-20 d B,with the mode spacing no less than 3.The receiver can extract valid information only when capturing approximately 92.5% of the OAM beam and correctly demodulating the corresponding mode.Bit error rate below the 7%hard-decision forward error correction threshold of 3.8×10^(-3)can be achieved for the intended recipient.Moreover,a simulated weak turbulence is introduced to comprehensively analyze the influence on the system performance,including channel crosstalk,chaotic synchronization,and transmission performance.Our work may inspire structured light application in optical chaos and pave a new way for developing future high-capacity free-space chaotic secure communication systems. | YIQUN ZHANG MINGFENG XU MINGBO PU MENGJIE ZHOU JIAZHENG DING SHUANGCHENG CHEN KUN QIU NING JIANG XIANGANG LUO | 2023 | Photonics Research2023,11,12: | 0 |
| 14 | Multi-view ladar data registration in obscure environment显示文摘Multi-view laser radar (ladar) data registration in obscure environments is an important research field of obscured target detection from air to ground. There are few overlap regions of the observational data in different views because of the occluder, so the multi-view data registration is rather difficult. Through indepth analyses of the typical methods and problems, it is obtained that the sequence registration is more appropriate, but needs to improve the registration accuracy. On this basis, a multi-view data registration algorithm based on aggregating the adjacent frames, which are already registered, is proposed. It increases the overlap region between the pending registration frames by aggregation and further improves the registration accuracy.
