2Microwave-assisted pyrolysis of vegetable oil soapstock:Comparative study of rapeseed,sunflower,corn,soybean,rice,and peanut oil soapstock显示文摘In this study,the effects of catalytic temperature and the type of soapstock on products from microwave-assisted pyrolysis were investigated.HZSM-5 was used as the catalyst to study the pyrolysis of six different soapstocks at 200℃,300℃,and 400℃ catalytic temperature.Results showed that the bio-oil yields initially increased and then decreased with the increase in catalytic temperature.When the catalytic temperature was 300℃,the bio-oil reached up to the maximum value(65.8 wt.%).Findings indicated that the composition of bio-oil was related to the degree of unsaturation of fatty acids sodium in the soapstocks.In the case of saturated fatty acid sodium,a series of alkanes was formed,whereas the pyrolysis of monounsaturated fatty acid sodium resulted mainly in cycloalkanes,the cycloalkenes obtained from bio-oil was produced by polyunsaturated fatty acid sodium.Yunpu Wang Shumei Zhang Qiuhao Wu Dengle Duan Yuhuan Liu Roger Ruan Guiming Fu Leilei Dai Lin Jiang Zhenting Yu Zihong Zeng Xiaojie Tian Xiuhua Yang 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,6:3
3The influence of the NCO/OH ratio and the 1,6-hexanediol/ dimethylol propionic acid molar ratio on the properties of waterborne polyurethane dispersions based on 1,5-pentamethylene diisocyanate显示文摘1,5-Pentamethylene diisocyanate, a novel aliphatic diisocyanate formed from bio-based 1,5-pentamethylenediamine, has been used as a hard segmented material to synthesize polyurethane. In this study, several waterborne polyurethane (WPU) dispersions have been successfully prepared by a prepolymer process from 1,5-pentamethylene diisocyanate poly(polyether) with different NCO/OH ratios and 1,6-hexanediol (HDO)/dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA) molar ratios. The Fourier transfonn infrared (FTIR) spectra, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffiraction, and a mechanical tensile test were used to investigate the structures, thermal stability, phase separation, crystallinity, mechanical properties, and adhesive performance of the WPU dispersions. The FTIR results indicate that the degree of hydrogen bonding and the numbers of urea groups increase as the NCO/OH ratio and HDO/DMPA molar ratio increase. Furthermore, the phase separation increases and the thermal stability decreases as the NCO/OH ratio increases or the HDO/DMPA molar ratio decreases. Finally, WPU3.0-2.4 (NCO/OH = 3, HDO/DMPA = 2.4) exhibits a maximum tensile strength and shear strength, pointing to its possible use as an adhesive. 11Biorefinery process for production of bioactive compounds and bio-oil from Camellia oleifera shell显示文摘A biorefinery process was developed in this study to obtain bioactive compounds and bio-oil from Camellia oleifera shells.Four different extraction techniques(water,ethanol,ultrasound-assisted deionized water,and ultrasound-assisted ethanol)were utilized to extract tea saponin and tannin from C.oleifera shells.Results showed that ethanol had better extraction capacity than did deionized water,and ultrasound could promote the dissolution of tannin and tea saponin in solution.The thermogravimetric curves of the samples treated under the four conditions moved toward high temperatures.This phenomenon indicated the thermal stability of the residue was significantly improved.The pretreatment showed a slight effect on the chemical compositions of bio-oil.Specifically,the samples treated with ethanol and ultrasound-assisted deionized water contained higher phenol contents(81.07%and 81.52%,respectively)than the other samples.The content of organic acid decreased with an increase in the phenol content.Yunpu Wang Linyao Ke Qi Yang Yujie Peng Yanzhe Hu Leilei Dai Lin Jiang Qiuhao Wu Yuhuan Liu Roger Ruan Guiming Fu 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,5:1
12Effects of CO2-water interaction with coal on mineral content and pore characteristics显示文摘There are a large number of abandoned coalmines in China,and most of them are located around major coal-fired power stations,which are the largest emission sources of carbon dioxide(CO2).Considering the injection of CO2 into abandoned coalmines,which are usually in the flooded condition,it is necessary to investigate the effect of CO2-water-coal interaction on minerals and pore structures at different pressures,temperatures and times.It reveals that the CO2-water-coal interaction can significantly improve the solubility of Ca,S,Mg,K,Si,Al,Fe and Na.By comparing the mineral content and pore structure before and after CO2-water-coal interaction,quartz and kaolinite were found to be the main secondary minerals,which increased in all samples.The structures of micropores and mesopores in the range of 1.5-8 nm were changed obviously.Specific surface areas and pore volumes first increased and then decreased with pressure and time,while both increased with temperature.By using the Frenkel-Halsey-Hill model,the fractal dimensions of all samples were analyzed based on D(s1)and D(s2),which reflected the co mplexities of the pore surface and pore volume,respectively.The re sults show that fractal dimensions had very weak positive correlations with the carbon content.D(s1)had a positive correlation with the quartz and kaolinite contents,while D(s2)had a negative correlation with the quartz and kaolinite contents.Qiuhao Du Xiaoli Liu Enzhi Wang Jianping Zuo Weimin Wang Yujie Zhu 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,2:1

15Natural gas density under extremely high pressure and high temperature: Comparison of molecular dynamics simulation with corresponding state model显示文摘This work applied molecular dynamics(MD)simulation to calculate densities of natural gas mixtures at extremely high pressure(>138 MPa)and high temperature(>200℃)conditions(x HPHT)to bridge the knowledge and technical gaps between experiments and classical theories.The experimental data are scarce at these conditions which are also out of assumptions for classical predictive correlations,such as the Dranchuk&Abou-Kassem(DAK)equation of state(EOS).Force fields of natural gas components were carefully chosen from literatures and the simulation results are validated with experimental data.The largest relative error is 2.67%for pure hydrocarbons,2.99%for C1/C3 mixture,7.85%for C1/C4 mixture,and 8.47%for pure H2S.These satisfactory predictions demonstrate that the MD simulation approach is reliable to predict natural-and acid-gases thermodynamic properties.The validated model is further used to generate data for the study of the EOS with pressure up to 276 MPa and temperature up to 573 K.Our results also reveal that the Dranchuk&Abou-Kassem(DAK)EOS is capable of predicting natural gas compressibility to a satisfactory accuracy at x HPHT conditions,which extends the confidence range of the DAK EOS.Luchao Jin Yongming He Guobing Zhou Qiuhao Chang Liangliang Huang Xingru Wu 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,3:0
