1Highly sensitive detection of melamine based on reversed phase liquid chromatography mass spectrometry显示文摘In this work, we developed a highly sensitive method to detect melamine based on reversed phase liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. A mass spectrometry compatible ion pair, heptafluorobu-tyric acid(HFBA), was used to separate melamine by reversed phase liquid chromatography prior to electrospray mass spectrometry. The incorporation of isotope internal standard and multiple reaction monitoring improved the accuracy and linearity of quantification. Based on this strategy, the method limit of quantification was 0.1 ng/g. The limits of quantification were 8 ng/g for liquid milk and 15 ng/g for dry milk powder. 19The hidden risk of microplastic-associated pathogens in aquatic environments显示文摘Increasing studies of plastisphere have raised public concern about microplastics(MPs)as vectors for pathogens,especially in aquatic environments.However,the extent to which pathogens affect human health through MPs remains unclear,as controversies persist regarding the distinct pathogen colonization on MPs as well as the transmission routes and infection probability of MP-associated pathogens from water to humans.In this review,we critically discuss whether and how pathogens approach humans via MPs,shedding light on the potential health risks involved.Drawing on cutting-edge multidisciplinary research,we show that some MPs may facilitate the growth and long-range transmission of specific pathogens in aquatic environments,ultimately increasing the risk of infection in humans.We identify MP-and pathogen-rich settings,such as wastewater treatment plants,aquaculture farms,and swimming pools,as possible sites for human exposure to MP-associated pathogens.This review emphasizes the need for further research and targeted interventions to better understand and mitigate the potential health risks associated with MP-mediated pathogen transmission.Huan Zhong Mengjie Wu Christian Sonne Su Shiung Lam Raymond W.M.Kwong Yuelu Jiang Xiaoli Zhao Xuemei Sun Xuxiang Zhang Chengjun Li Yuanyuan Li Guangbo Qu Feng Jiang Huahong Shi Rong Ji Hongqiang Ren 2023Eco-Environment & Health2023,2,3:0
20Laser-Derived Interfacial Confinement Enables Planar Growth of 2D SnS_(2) on Graphene for High-Flux Electron/Ion Bridging in Sodium Storage显示文摘Establishing covalent heterointerfaces with face-to-face contact is promising for advanced energy storage,while challenge remains on how to inhibit the anisotropic growth of nucleated crystals on the matrix.Herein,faceto-face covalent bridging in-between the 2 D-nanosheets/graphene heterostructure is constructed by intentionally prebonding of laser-manufactured amorphous and metastable nanoparticles on graphene,where the amorphous nanoparticles were designed via the competitive oxidation of Sn-O and Sn-S bonds,and metastable feature was employed to facilitate the formation of the C-S-Sn covalent bonding in-between the heterostructure.The face-to-face bridging of ultrathin SnS;nanosheets on graphene enables the heterostructure huge covalent coupling area and high loading and thus renders unimpeded electron/ion transfer pathways and indestructible electrode structure,and impressive reversible capacity and rate capability for sodium-ion batteries,which rank among the top in records of the SnS_(2)-based anodes.Present work thus provides an alternative of constructing heterostructures with planar interfaces for electrochemical energy storage and even beyond.Xiaosa Xu Fei Xu Xiuhai Zhang Changzhen Qu Jinbo Zhang Yuqian Qiu Rong Zhuang Hongqiang Wang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,6:0
