| 1 | Uncombined precise orbit and clock determination of GPS and BDS-3显示文摘There is increasing concern about the uncombined(UC)observation model in the field of global navigation satellite system(GNSS).Based on the global positioning system(GPS)and the third-generation BeiDou navigation satellite system(BDS-3),this study processed the UC precision orbit determination(POD)for single and dual systems.First,a UC observation model suitable for multi-GNSS POD was derived,and the ionospheric-free(IF)combination observation model was presented.Although the ambiguity parameters of UC and IF strategies were different after reparameterization,the difference could be removed when processing ambiguity resolution,and the equivalence was proved theoretically.To demonstrate the accuracy of BDS-3 orbits fully,the observation data of approximately 1 month were selected for determining the precise orbit for global positioning system(GPS)only,BDS-3 only,and GPS/BDS-3 systems based on the UC and IF models.The orbit precision of BDS-3 satellites was validated by using metrics,including comparison with precision products released by Wuhan University,orbit boundary discontinuity,and satellite laser ranging(SLR)residuals.The results show that the orbit accuracies of the IF and UC models are almost the same,the difference in orbits is approximately several millimeters,and the clock difference is within 0.01 ns.The GPS/BDS-3 combined solution shows better accuracy compared to other solutions.The average accuracies in the R and 3D directions are approximately 4 and 15 cm,and the clock standard deviation is approximately 0.2 ns compared to external orbit product.The root mean square of SLR residuals is approximately 4 cm. | Tian Zeng Lifen Sui Rengui Ruan Xiaolin Jia Laiping Feng | 2020 | Satellite Navigation2020,1,1: | 2 |
| 2 | A novel strategy to derive iPS cells from porcine fibroblasts显示文摘Induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology demonstrates that somatic cells can be reprogrammed to a pluripotent state by over-expressing four reprogramming factors.This technology has created an interest in deriving iPS cells from domesticated animals such as pigs,sheep and cattle.Moloney murine leukemia retrovirus vectors have been widely used to generate and study mouse iPS cells.However,this retrovirus system infects only mouse and rat cells,which limits its use in establishing iPS cells from other mammals.In our study,we demonstrate a novel retrovirus strategy to efficiently generate porcine iPS cells from embryonic fibroblasts.We transfected four human reprogramming factors (Oct4,Sox2,Klf4 and Myc) into fibroblasts in one step by using a VSV-G envelope-coated pantropic retrovirus that was easily packaged by GP2-293 cells.We established six embryonic stem (ES)-like cell lines in human ES cell medium supplemented with bFGF.Colonies showed a similar morphology to human ES cells with a high nuclei-cytoplasm ratio and phase-bright flat colonies.Porcine iPS cells could form embryoid bodies in vitro and differentiate into the three germ layers in vivo by forming teratomas in immunodeficient mice. | RUAN WeiMin HAN JianYong LI Pin CAO SuYing AN Yang LIM Bing LI Ning | 2011 | Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,6: | 2 |

| 9 | Analysis of DNA Methylation of Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis Under Temperature Stress Using the Methylation Sensitive Amplification Polymorphism(MSAP) Technique显示文摘Gracilariopsis lemaneiformis is an economically important agarophyte, which contains high quality gel and shows a high growth rate. Wild population of G. lemaneiformis displayed resident divergence, though with a low genetic diversity as was revealed by amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) and simple sequence repeat(SSR) analyses. In addition, different strains of G. lemaneiformis are diverse in morphology. The highly inconsistence between genetic background and physiological characteristics recommends strongly to the regulation at epigenetic level. In this study, the DNA methylation change in G. lemaneiformis among different generation branches and under different temperature stresses was assessed using methylation sensitive amplified polymorphism(MSAP) technique. It was shown that DNA methylation level among different generation branches was diverse. The full and total methylated DNA level was the lowest in the second generation branch and the highest in the third generation. The total methylation level was 61.11%, 60.88% and 64.12% at 15℃, 22℃ and 26℃, respectively. Compared with the control group(22℃), the fully methylated and totally methylated ratios were increased in both experiment groups(15℃ and 26℃). All of the cytosine methylation/demethylation transform(CMDT) was further analyzed. | 18 | Profile and determinants of delayed care-seeking and diagnosis among patients with imported malaria: a retrospective study in China, 2014–2021显示文摘Background: In areas where malaria has been eliminated, delayed care-seeking and diagnosis of imported malaria are constant threats. This study aimed to describe the profile and determinants of delayed care-seeking and diagnosis among patients with imported malaria in China.Methods: This retrospective study assessed surveillance data obtained from 2014 to 2021 in the Chinese provincial-level administrative divisions (PLADs) of Anhui, Henan, Hubei, and Zhejiang, and Guangxi. Epidemiological characteristics were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Furthermore, factors associated with delayed care-seeking and diagnosis among imported malaria cases were identified using multivariate logistic regression.Results: Overall, 11.81% and 30.08% of imported malaria cases had delays in seeking care and diagnosis, respectively. During the study period, there was a decreasing trend in the proportion of imported malaria cases with delayed care-seeking (χ^(2) = 36.099,P < 0.001) and diagnosis (χ^(2) = 11.395,P = 0.001). In multivariate analysis, independent risk factors associated with delayed care-seeking include PLADs (Guangxi as reference), consultations in high-level facilities for the first medical visit, infections with non-Plasmodium falciparum species, and older age. However, PLADs (Guangxi as reference), the purpose of traveling (labour as reference), and infections with non-P. falciparum species increased the risk of delayed diagnosis. Delayed care-seeking (adjusted odds ratio: 1.79,P = 0.001) and diagnosis (adjusted odds ratio: 1.62,P = 0.004) were risk factors for severe disease development.Conclusions: Based on this study’s findings, we strongly advocate for improved access to quality healthcare to reduce the rate of misdiagnosis at the first visit. Infections caused by non-P. falciparum species should be highlighted, and more sensitive and specific point-of-care detection methods for non-P. falciparum species should be developed and implemented. In addition, education programs should be enhanced to reach target populations at risk of malaria infection.
