| 2 | Effect of UBR5 on the tumor microenvironment and its related mechanisms in cancer显示文摘Objective UBR5,recently identified as a potential target for cancer therapeutics,is overexpressed in multiple malignant tumors. In addition,it is closely associated with the growth, prognosis, metastasis, and treatment response of multiple types of cancer.Although emerging evidence supports the relationship between UBR5 and cancer, there are limited cancer analyses available. Methods In this study, online databases(TIMER2,GEPIA2,UALCAN,c-BioPortal,STRING)were employed to comprehensively explore expression levels and prognostic values of the UBR5 gene in cancer, using bioinformatic methods. Results We found that various characteristics of the UBR5 gene such as gene expression, survival value, genetic mutation, protein phosphorylation, immune infiltration, and pathway activities in the normal tissue were remarkably different from those in the primary tumor.Furthermore,“protein processing in spliceosome”and“ubiquitin mediated proteolysis”have provided evidence for their potential involvement in the development of cancer. Conclusion Our findings may provide insights for the selection of novel immunotherapeutic targets and prognostic biomarkers for cancer. | Guangyu Wang Sutong Yin Justice Afrifa Guihong Rong Shaofeng Jiang Haonan Guo Xianliang Hou | 2021 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2021,7,6: | 1 |

| 4 | Highly stable dioxin-linked metallophthalocyanine covalent organic frameworks显示文摘We report a series of highly stable metallophthalocyanine-based covalent organic frameworks(MPc-dxCOFs) linked by robust 1,4-dioxin bonds constructed through nucleophilic aromatic substitution(SNAr)reaction. The chemical structures and crystallinity of the COFs largely remain unchanged even after treating with boiling water(90°C), concentrated acids(12 mol/L HCl) or bases(12 mol/L Na OH), oxidizing(30% H_(2)O_(2)) or reducing agents(1 mol/L NaBH;) for three days due to their stable M-Pc building blocks and resilient dioxin linkers. With metallated phthalocyanine active sites regularly arranged in the stable framework structures, MPc-dx-COFs can be directly used as efficient electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) without pyrolysis treatment that has commonly been used in previous studies. | Zepeng Lei Francisco W.S.Lucas Enrique Canales Moya Shaofeng Huang Yicheng Rong Aaron Wesche Patrick Li Lauren Bodkin Yinghua Jin Adam Holewinski Wei Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,12: | 0 |
| 5 | Venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for COVID-19 and influenza H1N1 associated acute respiratory distress syndrome:A comparative cohort study in China显示文摘Background Venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(VV-ECMO)has been demonstrated to be effective in treating patients with virus-induced acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).However, whether the management of ECMO is different in treating H1N1 influenza and coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)-associated ARDS patients remains unknown. Methods This is a retrospective cohort study. We included 12 VV-ECMO-supported COVID-19 patients admitted to The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University,Guangzhou Eighth People's Hospital, and Wuhan Union Hospital West Campus between January 23 and March 31,2020.We retrospectively included VV-ECMO-supported patients with COVID-19 and H1N1 influenza-associated ARDS.Clinical characteristics, respiratory mechanics including plateau pressure, driving pressure, mechanical power, ventilatory ratio(VR)and lung compliance, and outcomes were compared. Results Data from 25 patients with COVID-19(n=12)and H1N1(n=13)associated ARDS who had received ECMO support were analyzed.COVID-19 patients were older than H1N1 influenza patients(P=0.004).The partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide(PaCO_(2))and VR before ECMO initiation were significantly higher in COVID-19 patients than in H1N1 influenza patients(P<0.001 and P=0.004,respectively).COVID-19 patients showed increased plateau and driving pressure compared with H1N1 subjects(P=0.013 and P=0.018,respectively).Patients with COVID-19 remained longer on ECMO support than did H1N1 influenza patients(P=0.015).COVID-19 patients who required ECMO support also had fewer intensive care unit and ventilator-free days than H1N1.Conclusions Compared with H1N1 influenza patients,COVID-19 patients were older and presented with increased PaCO_(2) and VR values before ECMO initiation. The differences between ARDS patients with COVID-19 and influenza on VV-ECMO detailed herein could be helpful for obtaining a better understanding of COVID-19 and for better clinical management. | Yonghao Xu Yin Xi Shuijiang Cai Yuheng Yu Sibei Chen Weijie Guan Weibo Liang Hongkai Wu Weiqun He Xilong Deng Yuanda Xu Rong Zhang Manshu Li Jieyi Pan Zhenting Liang Ya Wang Shaofeng Kong Xiaoqing Liu Zheng Lv Yimin Li | 2023 | Journal of Intensive Medicine2023,3,4: | 0 |
