| 2 | Generating dense and super-resolution ISAR image by combining bandwidth extrapolation and compressive sensing显示文摘Recent developing compressive sensing (CS) theory indicates that it is possible to obtain precise recovery of a sparse signal from very limited measurements,which provides a new way for data acquisition and signal processing as nature signals usually involve some degree of sparsity.In this paper,we present an algorithm for inversed synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging with super resolution by combining CS and bandwidth extrapolation (BWE) technique.For ISAR imaging,the backscattering field of target is usually contributed by a few strong scattering centers,whose number is much less than that of image pixels.Thus,CS is intuitively suitable for constructing super resolution ISAR image.According to CS theory,the number of extracted dominating scatterers relies on the signal length,which indicates that if only limited data is available,it is difficult to generate dense ISAR image robustly by CS,and some signal components tend to lose.To soften this constraint,BWE is combined with CS imaging to increase the degree of freedom of signal while preserving its coherence.A refined CS-based formation for ISAR image-resolution enhancement is then developed.Both real and simulated data experiments are performed to evaluate the proposed approach,and an example of using this technique demonstrates the enhanced image resolution in application of maneuvering target imaging. | QUAN YingHui ZHANG Lei GUO Rui XING MengDao BAO Zheng | 2011 | Science China(Information Sciences)2011,54,10: | 15 |

| 4 | SbHKT1;4, a member of the high‐affinity potassium transporter gene family from Sorghum bicolor, functions to maintain optimal Na^+/K^+ balance under Na^+ stress显示文摘In halophytic plants, the high‐affinity potassium transporter HKT gene family can selectively uptake Kt in the presence of toxic concentrations of Nat. This has so far not been well examined in glycophytic crops. Here, we report the characterization of SbHKT1;4, a member of the HKT gene family from Sorghum bicolor. Upon Nat stress, SbHKT1;4 expression was more strongly upregulated in salt‐tolerant sorghum accession, correlating with a better balanced Nat/ Kt ratio and enhanced plant growth. Heterogeneous expression analyses in mutants of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Arabidopsis thaliana indicated that overexpressing SbHKT1;4 resulted in hypersensitivity to Nat stress, and such hypersensitivity could be alleviated with the supply of elevated levels of Kt, implicating that SbHKT1;4 may mediate Kt uptake in the presence of excessive Nat. Further electrophysiological evidence demonstrated that SbHKT1;4 could transport Nat and Kt when expressed in Xenopus laevis oocytes. | 5 | Comparison between the surface defects caused by Al_2O_3 and TiN inclusions in interstitial-free steel auto sheets显示文摘Al_2O_3 and TiN inclusions in interstitial-free(IF) steel deteriorate the properties of the steel. To decrease the defects of cold-rolled sheet, it is important to clearly distinguish between the degrees of damage caused by these two inclusions on the surface quality of the steel. In this study, a nanoindenter was used to test the mechanical properties of the inclusions, and the distribution and size of the inclusions were obtained by scanning electron microscopy(SEM). It was found that when only mechanical properties are considered, TiN inclusions are more likely to cause defects than Al_2O_3 inclusions of the same size during the rolling process. However, Al_2O_3 inclusions are generally more inclined to cause defects in the rolling process than TiN inclusions because of their distribution characteristic in the thickness direction. The precipitation of Al_2O_3 and TiN was obtained through thermodynamical calculations. The growth laws of inclusions at different cooling rates were calculated by solidification and segregation models. | 6 | Micromanufacturing technologies of compact heat exchangers for hypersonic precooled airbreathing propulsion: A review显示文摘The Hypersonic Precooled Combined Cycle Engine(HPCCE), which introduces precooler into traditional hypersonic engine, is regarded as the most promising propulsion system for realizing a single-stage-to-orbit vehicle. The unique demands lead to the application of the compact heat exchangers, which can realize high thrust-to-weight ratio, sufficient specific impulse and high compression ratio. However, it is challenging to accurately manufacture the compact heat exchanger due to its extremely high heat dissipation capacity, remarkable compactness, superior adaptability and harsh operating condition. This review summarizes the precooling schemes of combined cycle propulsions and describes the demands and key issues in the fabrication of a compact heat exchanger for HPCCE. The investigation focuses on the application of various micromanufacturing methods of heat exchangers constructed from tubes of less than 1 mm in diameter and microchannels of less than 200 micrometers. Various micromanufacturing processes, which include microforming, micromachining, stereolithography, chemical etching, 3 D printing, joining and other advanced microfabricating processes, were reviewed. In addition, the technologies are compared in terms of dimensional tolerance, material compatibility, and process applicability. Furthermore, the boundaries of the micromanufacturing constraints are specified as references for the design of compact heat exchangers. | 13 | Effects of closing and reopening live poultry markets on the epidemic of human infection with avian influenza A virus显示文摘Live poultry markets(LPMs) are crucial places for human infection of influenza A(H7N9 virus).In Yangtze River Delta,LPMs were closed after the outbreak of human infection with avian influenza A(H7N9) virus,and then reopened when no case was found.Our purpose was to quantify the effect of LPMs' operations in this region on the transmission of influenza A(H7N9) virus.We obtained information about dates of symptom onset and locations for all human influenza A(H7N9) cases reported from Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces by May 31,2014,and acquired dates of closures and reopening of LPMs from official media.A two-phase Bayesian model was fitted by Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods to process the spatial and temporal influence of human cases.A total of 235 cases of influenza A(H7N9) were confirmed in Shanghai,Jiangsu and Zhejiang by May 31,2014.Using these data,our analysis showed that,after LPM closures,the influenza A(H7N9) outbreak disappeared within two weeks in Shanghai,one week in Jiangsu,and one week in Zhejiang,respectively.Local authorities reopened LPMs when there was no outbreak of influenza A(H7N9),which did not lead to reemergence of human influenza A(H7N9).LPM closures were effective in controlling the H7N9 outbreak.Reopening of LPM in summer did not increase the risk of human infection with H7N9.Our findings showed that LPMs should be closed immediately in areas where the H7N9 virus is confirmed in LPM.When there is no outbreak of H7N9 virus,LPMs can be reopened to satisfy the Chinese traditional culture of buying live poultry.In the long term,local authorities should take a cautious attitude in permanent LPM closure. | Jian Lu Wendong Liu Rui Xia Qigang Dai Changjun Bao Fenyang Tang Yefei Zhu Qiao Wang | 2016 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,2: | 7 |

| 16 | Biological removal of antiandrogenic activity in gray wastewater and coking wastewater by membrane reactor process显示文摘A recombinant human androgen receptor yeast assay was applied to investigate the occurrence of antiandrogens as well as the mechanism for their removal during gray wastewater and coking wastewater treatment. The membrane reactor(MBR) system for gray wastewater treatment could remove 88.0% of antiandrogenic activity exerted by weakly polar extracts and 97.3% of that by moderately strong polar extracts, but only 32.5%of that contributed by strong polar extracts. Biodegradation by microorganisms in the MBR contributed to 95.9% of the total removal. After the treatment, the concentration of antiandrogenic activity in the effluent was still 1.05 μg flutamide equivalence(FEQ)/L, 36.2%of which was due to strong polar extracts. In the anaerobic reactor, anoxic reactor, and membrane reactor system for coking wastewater treatment, the antiandrogenic activity of raw coking wastewater was 78.6 mg FEQ/L, and the effluent of the treatment system had only 0.34 mg FEQ/L. The antiandrogenic activity mainly existed in the medium strong polar and strong polar extracts. Biodegradation by microorganisms contributed to at least 89.2%of the total antiandrogenic activity removal in the system. | 17 | Temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence of vertical WS2/MoS2 monolayer heterostructures显示文摘Heterostructures from two-dimensional transition-metal dichalcogenides MX_2 have emerged as a hot topic in recent years due to their various fascinating properties. Here, we investigated the temperature dependent Raman and photoluminescence(PL) spectra in vertical stacked WS_2/MoS_2 monolayer heterostructures. Our result shows that both E_(2g)~1 and A_(1g) modes of WS_2 and MoS_2 vary linearly with temperature increasing from 300 to 642 K. The PL measurement also reveals strong temperature dependencies of the PL intensity and peak position. The activation energy of the thermal quenching of the PL emission has been found to be equal to 69.6 meV. | 18 | Subtype Identification of Avian Influenza Virus on DNA Microarray显示文摘We have developed a rapid microarray-based assay for the reliable detection of H5, H7 and H9 subtypes of avian influenza virus (AIV). The strains used in the experiment were A/Goose/Guangdong/1/96 (H5N1), A/African starling/983/79 (H7N1) and A/Turkey/Wiscosin/1/66 (H9N2). The capture DNAs clones which encoding approximate 500-bp avian influenza virus gene fragments obtained by RT-PCR, were spotted on a slide-bound microarray. Cy5-labeled fluorescent cDNAs, which generated from virus RNA during reverse transcription were hybridized to these capture DNAs. These capture DNAs contained multiple fragments of the hemagglutinin and matrix protein genes of AIV respectively, for subtyping and typing AIV. The arrays were scanned to determine the probe binding sites. The hybridization pattern agreed approximately with the known grid location of each target. Through the tunnel, endoscopic diagnosis or treatment is performed for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP, and even outside the gastrointestinal(GI) tract.At present, the tunnel technique application range covers the following:(1)Treatment of lesions originating from the mucosal layer, e.g., endoscopic submucosal tunnel dissection for oesophageal large or circular early-stage cancer or precancerosis;(2) treatment of lesions from the MP layer, per-oral endoscopic myotomy, submucosal tunnelling endoscopic resection, etc.; and(3) diagnosis and treatment of lesions outside the GI tract, such as resection of lymph nodes and benign tumour excision in the mediastinum or abdominal cavity. With the increasing number of DETTs performed worldwide, endoscopic tunnel therapeutics, which is based on DETT, has been gradually developed and optimized. However, there is not yet an expert consensus on DETT to regulate its indications, contraindications, surgical procedure, and postoperative treatment.The International DETT Alliance signed up this consensus to standardize the procedures of DETT.
